Sounds like you are doing everything right then. Tough decision though. Why they get married right away after you break up? Well. That’s a lot to unpack. Some women are very good at the Poster Buffalo Bills 2024 AFC EAST Champions NFL Football Playoffs 2020 shirt and by the same token and bait and switch – acting like every fiber of their being is devoted to pleasing their man and pushing for marriage every second, then turning that off (forever) the second they get married. Some guys are stupid. Maybe you haven’t found the person who’s right for you? I had many long term relationships, and I knew within days my wife was the one for me. She did me right too. There’s a gut instinct. If it’s been years it may be time to move on. Government. Honestly, what’s the point? Unless heavily pressured by the girl I love, never ever. And even then, there’d have to be a good reason for that. Heavily religious parents or some other form of cultural background. Personally, I can’t see it as commitment or anything outside of the stamp on paper. Almost every man in my life has a similar attitude.

If she’s controlling. It’s a major turnoff to have every aspect of your life being controlled/monitored and subjected to one person 24/7. No, I wouldn’t cheat and don’t justify that but if I want to get up and go anywhere at anytime I should without playing 20 questions as to where I’m going, who I’m seeing, when I’ll be back, how much money I spent etc. I’m gonna be straight with you at the Poster Buffalo Bills 2024 AFC EAST Champions NFL Football Playoffs 2020 shirt and by the same token and expense of downvotes. What stops me personally (and the guys in my circle) is: too much feminism and/or too much conservatism. You somehow sound like a combination of both. Sorry if it’s harsh, just another perspective you were looking for I really don’t understand the concept of marriage in this day and age I understand if you have faith or the binding of family business etc which happens in some communities but you can easily love someone without the extra paper work and sharing of assets. 383 more repliesI was gonna say Jasmines asshole, but the question was “which country”, so it must be big Berthas asshole, although it was also asking “loves to sleep”, not “….goes to pass out ” so it’d be Ginger
It is a Balkan thing. There’s a joke and stereotype in the Poster Buffalo Bills 2024 AFC EAST Champions NFL Football Playoffs 2020 shirt and by the same token and Balkans that Montenegrins are very lazy and sleep all the time In 1940s? Went to Berlin couple years ago. Was wondering why even the 80 yo grandma was running across the street. Well found out midway when the lights turned red and cars started rolling over. So I don’t know if you can afford to be sleepy there. i meant the NPCs ‘working’ in the government buildings – they do jack shit which leads me to believe they’re just there to get a paid good nights rest /r/3amjokes – for all the stupid humor of sleep deprivation. Have you been up for longer than a normal human being can operate? Good. Have you just laughed at a joke that wouldn’t be funny otherwise? submit your insomniac dad jokes today

Have you considered talking to your partner’s about marriage? There’s plenty of reasons not to want to marry someone, many of which are behaviors that can be changed. Communication is a major factor for successful relationships and marriage. from reading your comments, I can see why he is hesitant. He is probably going through the Poster Buffalo Bills 2024 AFC EAST Champions NFL Football Playoffs 2020 shirt and by the same token and same. Saw you as a great person because that’s how you present yourself, then he got to know you and more of your inner thoughts. that’s where his hesitation came in You can be the one to propose. Some guys are too afraid of rejection to ask. there are guys who date to find a wife and there are guys who date for sex. You probably want the former. For me as soon as I decided she was someone I did not want to marry or have kids with, I ended it. Otherwise it’s wasting everyone’s time. Most of the time that was 3 or fewer dates. By a year or two into a relationship, people should know one way or another and then it’s just deciding on the particulars.
Too many men are threatened by women who make good money. Let me ask you – what kind of women do these men marry right after they date you? The marriage as a consept is outdated for a lot of people. A Committment that should last your entire rest of your life isn’t very attractive as a goal anymore. Too many stories of broken hearts or miserable relationships due to changes everyone goes through in their life, and because of the Poster Buffalo Bills 2024 AFC EAST Champions NFL Football Playoffs 2020 shirt and by the same token and eternal committment to just one person, it seriously is a huge responsebility in which basically anything could go wrong. In addition, I believe that it’s easier nowadays to build a perfectly satisfying life as an individuals, as we don’t need a partner in order to survive. Family sizes have gone down, and the whole village is raising mentality is long gone, and we’re focused on nuclear family ideology, in which families are perhaps too small unit to function happily, since both parents are working atleast 1/3 of all time. Is there a reason why you wouldn’t purpose? Assuming you met your dream man everything was as you imagined but he hasn’t popped the question. Is there a reason why you wouldn’t? If so elaborate im curious to know what that reason might be!
Hmm just to share… I was in a relationship for 11 years and in the Poster Buffalo Bills 2024 AFC EAST Champions NFL Football Playoffs 2020 shirt and by the same token and end broke up with him when I finally realised that it wasn’t what I wanted. I see many of my friends around me who married young and are now unhappy. Take your time, be happy alone… enjoy yourself and choose wisely. Did those guys have a lot in common? It took my sister years to figure out that “her type” were guys who it was never going to work out with long term. The personality traits that attracted her early on turned out to be ones that made a long term successful relationship not work. I wish I could say she stopped pursuing that kind of guy, found her soul mate and got married and lived happily ever after. She did find a guy who she married, but had to divorce him 5 years and two kids later. But she does seem to be happier now with dating, so there’s that.
I don’t understand how you date a guy for six years and never once have a discussion about getting married. Are your partners intimidated by your success? Maybe they’re waiting for you to bring up the Poster Buffalo Bills 2024 AFC EAST Champions NFL Football Playoffs 2020 shirt and by the same token and topic? Even then, after six years it seems like you’d have that conversation. Is there a serious communication issue? Personally if I would marry someone it’s purely because of legal reasons (I don’t believe it changes anything about the kind of relationship you have, I think it’s more of a placebo for people who think it makes the relationship better) Those factors such as cleaning, cooking and making money are the same of every other functioning adult… Its not really “marriage” material since everyone does it. There’s a lot more factors that go into becoming “marriage” material such as looks, attitude and just general vibes.
You mention ur yearly income, maybe u work too much and ur attitude outside of work kinda sucks. I see a lot of women online who complain that no one has married them but its because they were focused on working etc during their prime years and that significantly aged them due to stress etc. Plus u already have a kid which is a deal breaker for a lot of dudes. I personally wouldnt want someone with a kid. Plus u gotta kinda work on ur other selling points, cooking, cleaning and making money arent great factors since a lot of people posses those. It’s a lot of Fomo a lot of people won’t make ant major commitments because their unhealthy fantasy about hooking up with their Instagram crush will become obsolete you will be helping raising yalls children. how can he trust you to teach yalls kids some emotional regulation and basic kindness if you don’t have any?
Well, not a woman specifically, but my boyfriend of 8 years is very apprehensive about getting married or even proposed to by me because he’s got the Poster Buffalo Bills 2024 AFC EAST Champions NFL Football Playoffs 2020 shirt and by the same token and autism-anxiety combo and he’s scared that’ll be some massive change even though I try to assure him it won’t be, not if we don’t make it a massive thing. But it’s not a money or house thing lmao, we’re both students, we don’t care that we don’t earn anything or have a house yet. I just love him I doubt every person you date has that fear, but that’s one reason. My boyfriend’s uncle also doesn’t want to marry his girlfriend. I can’t remember the reason other than he just doesn’t want to marry. They’re both faithful as all hell, have been together for many years, and already live together, but the uncle just doesn’t want to marry, even though he loves her to pieces. There are different reasons for everyone so I can’t say what the reasons are for the men you’ve dated
An Unfair legal system is the Poster Buffalo Bills 2024 AFC EAST Champions NFL Football Playoffs 2020 shirt and by the same token and main reason, who wants to lose half their stuff because the woman decides she’s bored and can do better? This is the funniest question anyone has ever asked. The problem is women have half the money and all the pussy. That’s the only thing that keeps us chasing… A lot of men are just happy with one night stands, situationships, being alone playing their games, and so on. Many don’t trust women these days and vise versa. I’m 44 m and have never been married. I think men don’t know what they want. Don’t feel like it’s you cause when it comes to marriage men don’t have a clue what they are doing. I’ve been in relationships with really good women but have been to dumb to do the right thing. I’m not sure if it’s fear of being labeled or just not being able to say single when you fill out paper work. That’s why women are asking men these days lol. The right one will come along and you will know and so will he. Be happy knowing you passed all the bad ones to find the best one.
Usually being in love and having similar life value and goals causes people to marry. at this age especially marriage is discussed multiple times before an official “proposal” I know a really nice girl who is now in her 40s and she has been divorced 4 times. She is probably secretly toxic or something but also the Poster Buffalo Bills 2024 AFC EAST Champions NFL Football Playoffs 2020 shirt and by the same token and guys she picks to marry.. are just the divorcing kind. Always goes for the “bad boys” who on paper are good. Just attracted to the slimier guys for some reason. I’m not saying your guys are slimy but you might be attracted to or drawn to a type a guy who does not want to “settle down” or some other version of guy that will not lead to marriage. The kind of guys willing to live with a woman for years and not marry her arnt normally the type wanting marriage and kids and traditional roles. My other thought is based on a lot of your comments you have a general lack of communication. Such as saying “we don’t want kids now (apparently)” that sounded like you are a person who doesn’t communicate when they should, and feelings come out in passive aggressiveness or when tempers are raised opposed to in regular discussion.
I don’t know anything about you but across the Poster Buffalo Bills 2024 AFC EAST Champions NFL Football Playoffs 2020 shirt and by the same token and board some self reflection or journaling and therapy helps people discover more about themselves and to communicate better with others A lot of people get married swept up in the romance. this age you arnt going to have as much of that. Guys who are romantics or already have kids might be more likely to propose rather than just date and cohabitate. My two cents would be that you’re both more mature and know what you want at 30. So don’t take it as a negative that you are not married yet. You don’t want to rush it either. Being with the wrong person is way worse then being single. Girl was crazy. She would 80% of the time be nice and easygoing. 15% of the time she would be a little off or grumpy, no big deal. 5% of the time she was off the rails. She broke things, would “thump” my back (open palm swinging downward hard), she would flash others in social gatherings, she would drink herself comatose, screaming matches in the grocery store (most of the time with no opponent because I was running away), she would steal sums of money ($5-$10), she would make extravagant plans with people and then bail.
I could probably attribute all of the Poster Buffalo Bills 2024 AFC EAST Champions NFL Football Playoffs 2020 shirt and by the same token and problems with that relationship on the after effects of her insanity. It had pretty nasty effects on me too. I found by the end of it I was willing and ready to restrain her by pinning her down. I wouldn’t take her out to social gatherings or rush her to leave after being there for an hour or two. I’d routinely cancel dinner dates (regardless of who else was invited) because I could feel her crazy building up, I was checking to make sure things hadn’t been stolen, and I’d call her mom repeatedly to help me deal with this mess of a human. If you ever only heard her side of the story, you’d think I was the most abusive piece of shit ever. Looking back, I don’t like who I was at all. I finally got out because she attacked me in my house, shattered bottles, and got a bruise when I restrained her while she was trying to bite me. I’m twice her size. She called the cops and I got to spend the evening in a jail cell, all expunged and found not guilty afterwards. I applaud the cops for doing the best they could with a muddy situation. My house was a fucking mess afterwards.
I met my now wife shortly after and realized that I’m not a bad person, I was just driven to be an asshole due to someone else’s insanity and my own inability to end the Poster Buffalo Bills 2024 AFC EAST Champions NFL Football Playoffs 2020 shirt and by the same token and relationship. Kept thinking her behavior was a one time thing, even though it was a regular occurrence. I forgave it every time when she snapped out of it. All of my poor behavior stopped instantly, and the seldom times my wife loses her cool I had my old high levels of patience back to not react. I completely went off on a rant and forgot the original prompt, sorry. Make sure you’re not 95% awesome and 5% batshit crazy, nobody wants to marry that. You have to be just competible for the long term and then someone will think I will marry this person. The checkbox can be subjective and dependence from man to man. For me a woman that wants to raise a family and thinks like me and has the same values is for me a reason to say yes.
I would say you just haven’t found the Poster Buffalo Bills 2024 AFC EAST Champions NFL Football Playoffs 2020 shirt and by the same token and right one. Don’t come as the relationship as a testing ground for marriage. That shit will work naturally plus your you and successful, you have plenty of time. Don’t rush it. Why would a man need to marry you if he has all the benefits of a wife without legally committing himself?. Lay things out on the line about what you’re looking for when the relationship starts. Otherwise you’re just wasting your time. Some men, myself included, just don’t see the point in marriage. Mum has been married and divorced 3 times and my 2 older brothers were both divorced from their partner’s after 4 years. I’ve been with my partner for nearly 13 years, have 3 kids, our own house and careers, yet I don’t feel the need to get married. We’d spend all that money on one day and what would have changed…………..nothing. Don’t put so much pressure on getting married, just enjoy everything else a relationship has to offer. For me personally the reasons are that I see no particular benefits so why go through the hassle, plus not really wanting to participate in a problematic institution. Though this is not really about being a man, as my female partner (been together for 15 years) has pretty much the same reasons, with a little more emphasis on a wedding being her personal idea of hell.
I have never gotten married but wanted to do it a few times, for me the Poster Buffalo Bills 2024 AFC EAST Champions NFL Football Playoffs 2020 shirt and by the same token and most important is that she treats me well, with respect. She is sure of what she wants and that she loves me, a long term commitment is something she talks about. She is in a good mood most of the time, the mood isn’t easily swayed. She is nice to be around, she doesn’t need to be a clown but her presence should be something I look forward to. Don’t pay attention to the “she will take half my stuff” crowd. Most of us guys don’t pay attention to that and are looking for marriage. In my experience the majority of guys who say “she’ll take half my stuff” have nothing to take. Her Taking half the debt when she leaves the relationship isn’t something to worry about lol
We don’t know the Poster Buffalo Bills 2024 AFC EAST Champions NFL Football Playoffs 2020 shirt and by the same token and details but when you tout all the good things it seems like you are covering up the bad. So what’s the bad stuff a out you? Are you too controlling? Are you compromising? What about the sex, each relationship is different but by and large men need lots of sexual attention. I’m just saying OP, you list all this stuff about why you are such a catch but you can’t keep a guy on the hook. What are you not seeing about yourself? Some men are not programmed for marriage and they need a push. However the fact they marry you does not need it will last. Woman here. My ex husband was Dutch, I lived in another country. We were very in love and he was crazy about me but he is from a culture where people just live together and do not necessarily marry. He came from a 7 year relationship with some woman he never married. He wanted me to go and live with him . I said I would not live with a man who is not my husband. That is all it took. A month later he came to visit me and he proposed. We divorced 4 years later. I left him. He is still after me 15 years later. But that is another story.
The thing that would make me not want to marry a woman is if I didnt love her. Thats the Poster Buffalo Bills 2024 AFC EAST Champions NFL Football Playoffs 2020 shirt and by the same token and main requirement for me. Not cooking, cleaning, wages etc. Those guys werent right for you. And of course youre worth that level of commitment. Just dont settle. Just a few things I will share that may or may not apply to you. Do you work long hours and spend little if no time at home except to sleep? Are you a decision maker at work? If so, do you dominate interactions with partners? That can be intimidating to some men. I see you make good Manet, is it more than the men you date so as to make them feel inadequate? Not saying that is a valid reason but some men are insecure. Much more than they would admit. I believe in honesty, maybe you need to do relationship checks periodically. Find out how each other feels on certain topics and issues. It’s easy to each write out some questions and both write responses and then share. It will give you a good look at where you both stand on the things that can build or destroy a relationship.
