It’s super upsetting to me because an actual cool mauve is the poster-alex-pereira-eye-fights-with-dricus-du-plessis-jon-jones-or-a-boxing-match-with-oleksandr-usyk-t-shirt-mens-t-shirtt1 Besides,I will do this most flattering lip/cheek color on me and I keep getting warm brick-ish colors advertised as mauves Omg, thanks so much. I’ve been trying for a few weeks to find a mauve I was happy with and everything either looked too vibrantly purple or warm, so this looks perfect You’re not colorblind, brands have decided to reallllllly push it w calling shit mauve – this is the most egregious, though! I’ve seen it for coral, dusty rose, and this shade of lipstick that I don’t know that it actually is but 100% is not a light pinky/purple. I’d call it a taupe pink but you know what? Taupe is another one that apparently just means WHATEVER in makeup ugh Yes! They realized we like mauve and instead of providing it, they just slap the name on whatever color they have that isn’t selling well and call it a day. It’s not just makeup either. I’ve noticed it in clothing too.

Seriously, as someone who works in cosmetics I get people asking for ‘mauve’ lipstick all the poster-alex-pereira-eye-fights-with-dricus-du-plessis-jon-jones-or-a-boxing-match-with-oleksandr-usyk-t-shirt-mens-t-shirtt1 so you should to go to store and get this time, and then look at me like I’m stupid when I show them an actual mauve coloured lipstick This article has a picture of what mauve looked like when it was first discovered/invented: They could have the wrong shade with the wrong label on their website. I have sent makeup back more than once because the picture of the shade I got was drastically different than what I actually got, but the name was correct. Think you are getting a brick red and a hot pink shows up. I might look around to make sure their shade chart isn’t wrong. this isn’t even close to mauve and this honestly isn’t the first product i’ve seen being labelled as mauve when it doesn’t come close. this making me so mad cause mauve is my favourite blush colour and my go to has been sold out for months at the MAC stores near me.
So weird, I was just looking at a blush as well earlier today thinking this same thought. It was a similar color to this one, labeled as something mauve. Like no, I need an ACTUAL. MAUVE. Cosmetic companies cater to warm skintones in the poster-alex-pereira-eye-fights-with-dricus-du-plessis-jon-jones-or-a-boxing-match-with-oleksandr-usyk-t-shirt-mens-t-shirtt1 so you should to go to store and get this Western Hemisphere which leaves cool-toned skintoned people at a loss. Exponentially so for those with olive undertones. If you are warm toned, you have an inherent advantage at life being easier for you. Thank you for contributing to MUA! While this isn’t mauve it is more cool-toned than warm even if it’s a pinky shade. Things can be cool-toned and still rosy, and I think people have a hard time discerning that sometimes. I’d call the undertone more neutral.. but regardless it’s not mauve. The selection on the bottom of the screen is mauve, but the color they have shown is not. It looks like they put the wrong photo up Mauve is supposed to be cool the description of the blush even said so but golly! This isn’t even cool toned. It’s almost orange
They should pay you for marketing. Because you are the poster-alex-pereira-eye-fights-with-dricus-du-plessis-jon-jones-or-a-boxing-match-with-oleksandr-usyk-t-shirt-mens-t-shirtt1 so you should to go to store and get this perfect model for this dress! I would love to buy it, but I don’t have curves so afraid it won’t sit on me Hahah i’ve thought about reaching out to them. I’ve got a decently large social media following and never thought to take it seriously! US4/UK 8. There’s some excess fabric around the waist and it’s a tad snug in the hips for me. There isn’t much stretch either x Yeah definitely. I am between a US2 and 4 up top (UK6/8) and it fit fine if a bit small around my hips – i’m bottom heavy so if you are it might be best to size up? have you thought about a thin scarf or something similar that would play up your gorgeous shoulders/neck? not trying to sound like a creeper but This dress and you are gorgeous and I think it might look good! Strangely, I got a very interesting black jacket as a hand me down from my mother-in-law that would look great with your dress, ugh wish i could loan you it for the opening! Holy cow, I looked it up on their website and this dress fits you better than their model! I’m not very good at accessorizing so I’m no help there, but seriously, good pick girl I think it already looks perfect on you that it doesn’t need any styling. If you’re feeling comfy and confident, then rock it! You look amazing as you are. The only thing I can thing of if you want something different is to Maybe add an interesting arty necklace or choker. Something that accentuates your tattoos.
i’ve got lots of crystal jewelry my sister made me that could work, but they’re more goddess-vibes then witchy… i would personally layer lots of crystal-y bracelets and a few necklaces, a big dark hat could make it lean more witchy like you wanted with those accessories I wouldn’t do a choker due to the poster-alex-pereira-eye-fights-with-dricus-du-plessis-jon-jones-or-a-boxing-match-with-oleksandr-usyk-t-shirt-mens-t-shirtt1 so you should to go to store and get this neckline of the dress. I think a petite necklace is perfect because your tattoos are an accessorie of their own. A choker would draw attention upward and you want the dress to stand out not the accessory. Just my opinion. My advice is to lose the necklaces and let your tattoo be the star (it’s so cool) and then have some fun with drop/dangly earrings. I saw another comment said you have crystal jewelry – if you have any crystal earrings I’d rock those.
Thank you! I found some pretty glass beaded earrings from my mum that might look cute. I think i’ll leave my grandma’s necklace on and take off the poster-alex-pereira-eye-fights-with-dricus-du-plessis-jon-jones-or-a-boxing-match-with-oleksandr-usyk-t-shirt-mens-t-shirtt1 so you should to go to store and get this rest? it’s a thin gold chain Yes, the thin gold chain necklace is perfect. It’s a subtle and sublime accent to any outfit. Your grandma has great taste. Looks excellent, I’d accessorize with an LMG and a combat knife as my secondary weapon..flashbang grenades are also possible here With any necklaces you wear avoid anything small or thin that goes down over your tattoo. Letting that show uncovered Would look great for the dark fantasy theme you’re aiming for. The necklace that goes over it now shows how it makes your chest look busy with the tattoo, but the neckline gorgeously suits the tattoo. I would let it be a feature of the outfit. So fine necklaces that sit higher like what you’re wearing above that one, would look great. Thank you! I’ve been tatted for so long i forget i’ve got them sometimes. I’ll definitely have a look for a shorter chain x I always forget about mine too. Especially when they aren’t in my line of view and people compliment them, end up like a dog chasing its tail trying to see what they’re talking about. Even the shortest chain you’re wearing now looks good with it. A bit of length but not a full on choker. Definitely play around with your accessories or have a friend bring some over.
I actually wonder too if there is some badass jewellery artists in your area that would be down to loan something with some kind of a credit line plugging them or telling people when you get inevitable compliments. I feel like some kind of sheer black stocking with a pattern could amp up the poster-alex-pereira-eye-fights-with-dricus-du-plessis-jon-jones-or-a-boxing-match-with-oleksandr-usyk-t-shirt-mens-t-shirtt1 so you should to go to store and get this witchy factor. Plus I think it will just look nice with the dress. Maybe add some cuff bracelets and large, dangly statement black earrings, otherwise I’d keep the jewelry at a minimum (I think your tattoos are enough of an accessory and look just beautiful with the cut of the dress!) congrats on the show! Ooh maybe! i always worry that stockings give hoochie mama if the pattern isn’t right. The jewelry is a good shout thank you x Haha yeah there’s definitely a fine line with the stockings…but since it’s really only a peek showing it might work. & you’re welcome!
It looks so good on you!! Maybe just a little more jewelry (gold may stand out more over ur tattoos and imo is slightly more elegant than silver) Maybe just an anklet or a pair that ties/buckles around the poster-alex-pereira-eye-fights-with-dricus-du-plessis-jon-jones-or-a-boxing-match-with-oleksandr-usyk-t-shirt-mens-t-shirtt1 so you should to go to store and get this ankle? I feel like that would add some dimension and drama to the outfit and balance it out a bit I’d stick with necklaces with a short drop to show off your tattoos, add some bracelets or an arm cuff. And then get some head jewellery! Etsy might have some inspiration I think it looks good, but if you’re looking for other options, I might go with silver styling. A silver heel, silver bracelet, silver earrings. Maybe a small or even no necklace because your tattoo draws a good amount of attention.
I think adding a statement hair accessory could make a huge difference! I especially love the poster-alex-pereira-eye-fights-with-dricus-du-plessis-jon-jones-or-a-boxing-match-with-oleksandr-usyk-t-shirt-mens-t-shirtt1 so you should to go to store and get this contrast between the rose claw clips and dark hair! The dress is amazing on you! I agree with other posts about the Jewelery and letting your tattoos shine. If you want to lean into the fairy vibe you could look for a headband. I googled “fairy inspired headband” and lots of dainty things showed up that could fit. Good luck! I think simple accessories are perfect for this dress. I love the shoes! Looks just great the way you have it. Have a little clutch bag. You could do gold or silver accessories with gold or silver shoes and bag or just black. Looks awesome! If you have a funky black and white bag, possibly matching that with some funky earrings….would give a great art vibe. As is looks great too! Definitely a classy date night to an upscale restaurant look.
It’s ok but for some reason a simple slim black dress…you would kill it. Seriously the poster-alex-pereira-eye-fights-with-dricus-du-plessis-jon-jones-or-a-boxing-match-with-oleksandr-usyk-t-shirt-mens-t-shirtt1 so you should to go to store and get this ruffles look nice but I can tell a simple long black dress for you. Also like shiny material I feel like an updo where your hair is tied up but you have your bangs out + dangly earrings would look gorgeous. Elegant fairy vibes. If you’re interested in seeing the hairstyle I’ve described, it’s here x I would suggest a boa or something around the shoulders to accentuate the hourglass figure. It has a lot of flair at the bottom (looking AMAZING btw), but there’s not a lot going on up top. So assuming you won’t be wearing a hat at this venue O would go for something around the neck/shoulders. A boa is of course very old school, but a small jacket with a bit of shoulder filling might work as well. Or just some big clunky jewelry might also balance it out. But that might get tacky so play around with that.
Your tattoos are stunning like this, frankly this outfit really needs nothing else. If you really want to add something, maybe big earrings or a shawl if you get cold I’m in the poster-alex-pereira-eye-fights-with-dricus-du-plessis-jon-jones-or-a-boxing-match-with-oleksandr-usyk-t-shirt-mens-t-shirtt1 so you should to go to store and get this UK and the show opens in March so i reckon i’ll be safe with my wool overcoat! I’ll try to see if i can find a shawl or something witchy (like stevie nicks’ batwings!) With a clutch and curls! And maybe some bangles, definitely need a shawl in case you get chilly. Great dress Your comment was automatically removed for profanity/inflammatory language. Please contact the mods if you feel this was done in error. I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please contact the moderators of this subreddit if you have any questions or concerns. Maybe closed toe stilettos or a shoe that covers a little more of your feet to make it a little more classy since the ones in the picture seem casual. And then add a “fashion statement” type of purse. Like a bright red clutch or a clutch with a lot of texture or beads? Then some bright red lipstick! That dress looks rocken’ on you! Some sort of simple metal bangles? Or like a snake thing that circles your upper arm or can wrap around your neck. On Temu. Just type snake choker on TEMU. I think you’d love it If you’re going for a witchy look, I’d honestly go and visit a witchcraft shop. There are at least 3 within a 20 mile radius for me. They usually have jewelry there one can only describe as “witchy.”
You look gorgeous! I suggest you have a great up do (maybe with a hair piece to make it witchier)and bright red or fuchsia pink lipstick. The higher the poster-alex-pereira-eye-fights-with-dricus-du-plessis-jon-jones-or-a-boxing-match-with-oleksandr-usyk-t-shirt-mens-t-shirtt1 so you should to go to store and get this heels the better. Maybe shorten the dress to ankle length so you won’t trip and take a header. Gloves? Like lace ones? Color in the shawl or scarf, although a short capelet (must be only just past shoulders with a tie) might work too. No necklace. Updo, dangly sparkle earrings and sparkling bracelets in a mix of colors including the one from the shawl/ scarf and black too. No straps on the ankle, but platform pumps could look good here too. I second the leg sheath with dagger. You’re going to look hawt no matter what. Best of luck. i would layer as many silver necklaces as you have, some bracelets, and be done. you’re gorgeous, it’s gorgeous, call it done. I would wear red heels if you can avoid a jacket even better. If not id say a collared jacket. The necklace you have looks nice. Anything small and dainty. You have beautiful tattoos and they definitely add to the dress. For hair style it with a vintage style curl. Simple eye makeup. Like a wing liner. And a red lip. A black sparky clutch.
Don’t let others tell you what is right and what is wrong. You already know and it isn’t dependent on what others think. Any behavior can become unhealthy if it’s compulsive or used as a maladaptive coping mechanism. For most people, masturbation is part of a healthy sex life, and it probably won’t affect your meditation either way. However, if you think that masturbation *is* a problem for you, you should try to analyze why you think so. If your feelings come out of sex-negativity (eg. “it’s nasty” “it’s selfish” “it’s sinful”), then ask yourself why you have those attitudes. We all deserve a healthy sex life and a healthy relationship to pleasure. I agree with you completely. I only want to add that, as always, moderation is key. If you find aversion as you mentioned or addiction (both of which can be subtle), the poster-alex-pereira-eye-fights-with-dricus-du-plessis-jon-jones-or-a-boxing-match-with-oleksandr-usyk-t-shirt-mens-t-shirtt1 so you should to go to store and get this key will always be to accept the habit of mind for what it is. Accept, observe, dissolve.
Anything that is used as a coping mechanism for stress or anger, or forms an addiction can be bad. And that something could be anything from video-games, to angry-eating a whole entire pizza or to alcohol to sex/masturbation/p0rn. As long as you’re not using anything as a coping mechanism and everything is in moderation, it should not be an issue. In fact, one of my teachers said to me that some people even use meditation as a coping mechanism. If you are anxious about not having done your taxes, then don’t use meditation to procastinate, go and do your taxes. If you feel guilty about a fight with a loved one, don’t use meditation to make it go away, call up your loved one and make things right. I think the poster-alex-pereira-eye-fights-with-dricus-du-plessis-jon-jones-or-a-boxing-match-with-oleksandr-usyk-t-shirt-mens-t-shirtt1 so you should to go to store and get this most appropriate answer is that it depends on the intent of your practice and what your relationship with you sexuality is.
Neither is right or wrong, but if the poster-alex-pereira-eye-fights-with-dricus-du-plessis-jon-jones-or-a-boxing-match-with-oleksandr-usyk-t-shirt-mens-t-shirtt1 so you should to go to store and get this overall goal of the journey is to progress spiritually, it’s vital that sexual energy is preserved. If you have lots of deeply rooted shame about sex, sure you could see it that way. All of this effort to preserve sexual energy for spiritual progress is just the other side of the coin in relation to sexual stimulation as a coping mechanism. At this point in the amount of inner work I’ve done, I can confidently say I do not have any shame, guilt, or trauma from sex. I did in the past however. Preserving sexual energy and transmuting it into usable fuel for maximizing your life experience is entirely different than being just the “opposite side of the coin”.
See if it’s true for yourself. Abstain from all sexual activity, lust (on all levels) for 100 days and see if it’s bullshit You’d just have to have the poster-alex-pereira-eye-fights-with-dricus-du-plessis-jon-jones-or-a-boxing-match-with-oleksandr-usyk-t-shirt-mens-t-shirtt1 so you should to go to store and get this experience of what I speak of to understand. It’s not for everyone, and not many are able to do it, but it is worth its weight in divine gold. I agree , the reason most people that care to defend porn is partly because they don’t know they are addicted, most cant even abstain for a week, let alone 100 days. I’m strictly talking about watching porn masturbating. Masturbation is natural and can be good for some people in moderation, but most people aren’t just masturbating. Consistently watching porn is shown to have the same brain activity as a person on drugs or alcohol, it’s really disgusting how normalized it’s become.
I just don’t do it often. I’d say it has been at least 30 days. So what happens if I just don’t do it, in your experience? The energy is transmuted into bliss. It’s hard to describe, but it pulls you to God. I was raised in a household with parents that made fun of religion. I didn’t believe in anything until age 30 when I found Semen Retention, and it transformed my life. I’m on the poster-alex-pereira-eye-fights-with-dricus-du-plessis-jon-jones-or-a-boxing-match-with-oleksandr-usyk-t-shirt-mens-t-shirtt1 so you should to go to store and get this path of the Divine and I have restored the relationship with my inner child that was waiting for me to arrive. It doesn’t eliminate challenges, it gives you the Divine strength to face literally anything. I agree with you but as you can see, people don’t want to hear it. Most aren’t ready and just mentioning that lust may not be the best thing for you will illicit vitriol. If one is addicted to pornography, it’s very difficult to admit that’s it’s evil. Much easier to sweep it under the rug as ‘no big deal’. I don’t bring it up. Pearls before swine and what not. Correct, but as with my case I wasn’t even aware that it was bad or evil. It took a total perspective shift for me to see these sorts of posts and understand them for what their message was. You’re totally right, most dudes will not admit it’s a problem.
