bruh its pretty obvious english was not their first language. that combined with sarcasm via text is not doing you any favors. you handled this just as poorly as them in my opinion. For someone who had a stroke and can’t use their computer, they are typing lengthy replies instead of just saying “no”. My daughter just spent 3 1/2 weeks in the POD May 4th 2024 Sunshine Studios Colorado Springs CO Shirt Besides,I will do this hospital for medical issues and was on what is mainly a stroke unit (neurosurgery stepdown). That long in the hospital, and you are too tired and frustrated to deal with bullshit Surely I can’t be the only person here who can tell that almost every word of this was just dripping with sarcasm? I get that some people don’t speak English as a first language or may be neurodivergent but that doesn’t cover enough people to explain this comment section – do the majority of people really think this is subtle? Maybe my britishness is showing but this sarcasm was clear as day from the outset. Maybe not the most polite, but as he said, he literally just had a stroke.

You sound like a dick lmao. Your messages have zero sarcasm, and the POD May 4th 2024 Sunshine Studios Colorado Springs CO Shirt Besides,I will do this person stopped as soon as you actually said something. The comments here are weird. I guess they aren’t familiar with the scam – the person messaging OP is a scammer. They’ll send some AI generated “art” and make off with the money. Scammers deserve to have their time wasted. This is on you (if this is your conversation), you just come off and sound like a dick to this person. Be clear with what you want or get better at sarcasm Expecting someone to be a mind reader then bagging them out when they don’t get your ‘joke’ pretending to be a stroke victim is childish They seemed perfectly normal. You can’t assume people will detect sarcasm over text. You, however, were rude. You stress yourself out over small shit like this, then no wonder you had a stroke. They literally were kind about your condition and then left you alone as soon as you said you were not interested. I see nothing wrong in this interaction except for you. Having a stroke doesn’t give you a free pass to be a dickwad. Well when you continue to play along with people you can’t be mad that they ‘don’t know how to stop’. You never just initially said that you weren’t interested. Sarcasm can be hard to get for some people, which is even more true of text communication, they could have just thought you had a great outlook for the future despite hardships you’ve faced.
