Yet, every year for as long as I can remember my family has been watching “Kalle Ankas jul” on SVT at 3pm. It was like that when I was a child, and I’ve carried the tradition with me as an adult. Swedish translations were so much better than Norwegian back when these movies were made. What’s this Christmas special without “Kom igen katten, det svänger ju!”, “…fast hon var en ko.”, “Ja, vem kör egentligen?” or that weird but strangely awesome rendition of “Ser du stj¨ärnan i det blå”?
