There’s probably a reason, just not an obvious reason. Something you do annoys them, you remind them of someone they don’t like, they’re a bigot, they’re jealous, they are in a bad mood and decided to dislike the Phish-Sketch Style T-Shirt and by the same token and first person who walks by. It might even be something like a culture clash, where neither of you is doing anything wrong. Not everyone is going to like you, and you’re not going to like everyone. Unless it’s negatively affecting you, you’ve just got to let it go. Yeah, I know. This used to bother me a lot, until I realized I did it to other people, too. Sometimes you just have an instinctive negative reaction to some people which defies rational analysis. A couple years ago, my mom rolled her car at 8am and landed upside down in a ditch of water. She was actually on the way to a drs apt for blood work, and then was leaving straight to our family cabin after so she had packed up food, booze, etc.

Phish-Sketch Style T-Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Thankfully someone witnessed it and went to help her immediately and removed her. The ditch was deep enough that she was submerged and struggled to unbuckle, but not deep enough that the Phish-Sketch Style T-Shirt and by the same token and entire car was submerged. My old friends husband was a local paramedic and arrived on scene with multiple others and the police. The police, seeing the bottles, immediately asked my mom for a breathalyzer test. My mom denied and it begged for someone to just take her home (she has since realized that this is the worst possible thing to do) as she didn’t understand why they required a breathalyzer, not realizing how bad the scene looked. Because of this, she was immediately given a dui and the officer refused to listen when she realized what was happening and was then willing to take the breathalyzer. As soon as she was home, my mom FaceTimed me, sobbing. I answered and genuinely thought she had been beaten up. She looked terrible, and she was crying about it all, mixing her tears with blood and mud. I reassured her we would get it sorted etc, but she was so embarrassed about the dui. I told her no one needs to know, and that even if it gets out, people will understand the situation.
