I have also invested into my friendships a lot over the Penn State Nittany Lions on Saturday Philadelphia Eagles on Sundays Shirt besides I will buy this years, and the idea of living inside a “baby bubble” with mainly my partner and kids and a few “mommy friends” is uncomfortable and limiting. Was genetically predisposed to die at 10. Medical science got me past that, however I’ll go with the fate i would have never had kids. I also don’t want to bring any kids into this world. There are heaps of people already. Carbon footprints, expense, and the fact I’d never be the centre or my universe again. Nah I’m good, my dog is all i need. I get asked this a lot by family and it’s so frustrating! Yeah okay, I’m going to have a kid because Aunty Lynne who I see once a year if that, says “it suits you”.

I will be spending my time doing anything else. All the Penn State Nittany Lions on Saturday Philadelphia Eagles on Sundays Shirt besides I will buy this normal things. Sleeping in, having sex, walking my dog, going on dates, reading books. I like my free time too much. Also my money. And my dogs and main squeeze give me all I need. Time? Doing whatever the hell I want without a leash. I work with children all day (I’m in the school district) and at this point I don’t feel compelled to be around more children outside of that. I love my job, but I also need some space away from it. I already had 3, that’s a pretty good ratio. The only reason I’d have more is if I magically became a devotee of Joseph Smith or something. I am not ready (and don’t think I’ll ever want to be) as selfless as you need to be to be a parent. And, as much as I hate saying this, I am not equipped to handle the possibility of having a disabled child. Parents of children that require constant medical care/attention are absolute heroes in my eyes. But I just couldn’t handle it. And I think it’s good I can admit that to myself honestly. Medical issue. So stop trying. Now planning my finance to try to retire early. Planning to cruise around the world when retired. I don’t feel like it is talked about enough that some people are literally not well enough to have children. It’s not that I have fertility issues, it’s not that I don’t want children, it’s just I’m too sick. Have been ever since I was 18 and I am now 38 so. That’s that. I don’t like kids and I don’t want the headache. My wife and I spend our time traveling and going to theme parks. I wouldn’t change a thing.
Have NEVER been interested in kids. They seem to like me for some reason though. I dont like them I do not have the Penn State Nittany Lions on Saturday Philadelphia Eagles on Sundays Shirt besides I will buy this patience for them. I would rather be traveling, and enjoying life and the freedom of not having kids. Not me, but my brother said he just doesn’t have luck with women, and his relationships don’t ever work. So he said when me and my wife and I eventually have a few kids, he’ll move near by us (we’re gonna get a house in Vegas next year) and he said he’ll be the best Tio ever and he’ll take my kids camping and fishing and watch them whenever me and the wife need a break. So, while that hurts knowing he might die alone, at least I know my kids will know their uncle. Besides, this world sucks in so many ways and I can’t even handle it. The only man I could be pregnant from doesn’t want kids, isn’t very stable either, so that kid wouldn’t only not be wanted by any of us, by anyone, not only be killed but so mentally fucked up. Why would I choose to do that? I have the choice between killing some thing, which I’ll 100% do without guilt, in that moment, or just. That never happening. Obviously I’d choose that never happening What do we do, reward all the people who cant look after themselves with welfare while they insist on making more children with no contribution to society while the professional career minded contributor to society who should be making more children are too busy to do so.

I’m just glad my wife and I got to choose if we wanted children. We prefer to travel, not be in massive debt by needing to own a house and I love spending my free time developing my PC game HAG. I always tell my time poor, kid laden brother that the Penn State Nittany Lions on Saturday Philadelphia Eagles on Sundays Shirt besides I will buy this only downside we have is that we have too much time to think about stuff where as you have no choice but to just get on with things. People my age that decided that are too old to have kids now, and it’s probably a good thing. They’d have been terrible parents. I dont want to be responsible for another human being. I like to be able to wake up on a Saturday and do what I want. I like to be able to go on a week long road trip on a whim. Those might be selfish reasons, but how can I put a life that doesn’t exist before mine?
I had a little sister who was a decade younger than me. She slept in my room and I was the Penn State Nittany Lions on Saturday Philadelphia Eagles on Sundays Shirt besides I will buy this one who got up in the middle of the night to change her diaper or make her a bottle and rock her back to sleep. I love her, but I decided at 12 that I never wanted to do that again. When I met my now husband, neither of us wanted kids. We wanted to travel and buy a home and I was rather vain and didn’t want to destroy my body with a baby. Our priorities together are and have always been to be debt-free and able to go whenever and wherever we want. We wanted money and freedom. Our free time is spent entertaining mostly. Most of our friends’ kids are out of the house or at least old enough to be home alone, so they’re at our house every weekend. We spend the winters partying with friends or soaking in our hot tub. We spend our summers outside, grilling/smoking food, swimming in the pool, riding around in the golf cart, gardening etc. We go to the beach condo a few times a year and will probably go more often when my husband retires in a four years. The worst of us have ruined it for rest of us. I couldn’t feel good about willfully bringing a consciousness into this world.
I like my alone time so much that I don’t even date because I hate the Penn State Nittany Lions on Saturday Philadelphia Eagles on Sundays Shirt besides I will buy this thought of eventually having to live with another person. I lived with a traveling nurse for a few months & that was fine because our schedules clashed so we’d almost never see each other. My wife and I value our ability to just go and do things whenever we want to. Spontaneous vacations, not having to worry about another living being, etc etc. what would happen if everyone decided to not have kids? at some point there would only be 70+ year olds in the world. who would keep society running for them? As a woman I don’t want to put my body through that, women aren’t told enough of the dangers and complications that occur with pregnancy. A lot of women say that they are permanently damaged. I also don’t want to loose my identity and my name to be just “mum”. I also have trust issues and don’t trust a man to help me raise a child, or to stay, I’m sure I’d end up doing absolutely everything myself and be overwhelmed. If my hypothetical relationship ended I would have to be tied to the father of the child for the rest of my life, and then see the ex with his new gf and hate him. I get sensory overload so children screaming or even making any repetitive noises would drive me insane, it just does something to my brain. I’m also absolutely terrified that something would happen to my hypothetical child, if anything happened I wouldn’t forgive myself and my life would be over and I’d never emotionally recover. I have a lot of issues I struggle with psychologically and although I know I would be a good mother, I would be eating myself up with the responsibility and stress and there would be nothing left in me, so I would keep pretending to be okay and I can’t be confident that I would want to keep living, I can’t damage a child like that. There are so many things I’m interested in, discovery, art, psychology, quantum physics, literature, and I can’t absorb myself with it if I had a child. Also I’ve never seen a happy relationship or a happy family, ever, in my whole life, nobody.
We wouldn’t be able to provide properly for a child. Very little money, no car, and me being a total failure. I can’t even take care of myself. Also we absolutely can’t stand screaming babies. 🥲 I am a naturally lazy, very introverted person. After working all day, I like to be on my Penn State Nittany Lions on Saturday Philadelphia Eagles on Sundays Shirt besides I will buy this own and I prefer to do whatever I want, which a lot of times is basically nothing, kids and my personality don’t mesh. Life is just too short to spend 18+ years of it raising someone, I’d rather use those years on myself, maybe that’s selfish in a way but I’m fine with that. I dont like children. Never have. My husband and I spend our time and money on travel, nice dinners, hobbies, and fun experiences. Basically whatever we want.
The world is so fucked. I wouldn’t be able to handle the Penn State Nittany Lions on Saturday Philadelphia Eagles on Sundays Shirt besides I will buy this guilt of bringing a fragile, innocent human life into it. Plus, pregnancy fucks your body up in ways I just couldn’t handle. Maybe I’ll adopt one day, if I ever feel mentally well and mature enough to raise a decent human being. In the meantime I have a million hobbies to keep me busy. I can’t think of an UNselfish reason to have kids. I don’t want to raise kid knowing our planet is gonna be pretty fucked up when they’re older. Both my partner and I have genetic disorders, we’re both autistic and don’t fancy raising an autistic child knowing they could go through what we went through as kids (we were both bullied quite badly), he works in academia, I’m training to work in the performing arts so neither of us will have time to spend with a child, neither of us particularly want children in the first place and we both want cats and dogs so we’ll stick with those Life is expensive. Children are super expensive. I have my hands full just trying to set my own life straight and live and make money so I can pay bills and save up for nice things too. I also just broke up with someone after over a year of dating, a reminder of how challenging finding and keeping a partner can be. I’ll be happy if I can hold on to this house that my mom originally bought since housing is ridiculously overpriced nowadays and I’d rather not downgrade to renting an apartment or worse.
To those who didn’t decide to have children or decide not to have children, hey guys you make up probably most of the Penn State Nittany Lions on Saturday Philadelphia Eagles on Sundays Shirt besides I will buy this world sorry you can’t answer this question. I have kids but the reasons I don’t want to have any more can basically be explained by how poorly my country treats women, especially women who have children. I have not made up my mind entirely but i highly question whether i would be able to make sacrifices for anybody else other than me. I come from a family with severe diseases, like cancer, diabetes, depression. I also have asthma, depression, anxiety, autism and ADHD. My sister had diabetes from age 12 and died of esophageal cancer at 30. My parents were successful lawyers and they struggled with providing for my sister because her meds were expensive. I’m a doctor and despite that, I don’t make enough money to pay for meds a kid like my sister would need. Or even one like me. So yeah, economy is a good reason. Then the world seems to be going down the drain and I don’t want to put more people in a soon to be inhabitable planet. I have lots and lots more reasons I won’t have kids. How will I spend my time? Working. With the current economy I will likely never be able to retire XD
I had horrible greedy , selfish and abusive Christian parents so there is no way in hell this world deserved another human Two main reasons: 1) the Penn State Nittany Lions on Saturday Philadelphia Eagles on Sundays Shirt besides I will buy this planet already has way too many people. 2) we like our freedom. If it is Friday morning, and we decide to go away for the weekend, we go away for the weekend. We can do what we want, whenever we want without having rugrats to worry about. Because it makes no sense to put a child on this world. Humanity completely failed. No good life would be expecting him or her. No good planet. And honestly, I just don’t want them. I already have so many problems and life is hard enough on its own, it’s barely impossible to survive in this economy how will I have a child? I’ll spend my time surrounded by the ones I love, including my cats. Life will have as much meaning as it could have with kids. I feel like if you need to love, you can love those who are already here.
Literally I don’t see the Penn State Nittany Lions on Saturday Philadelphia Eagles on Sundays Shirt besides I will buy this point of having children. What’s the good thing about it? What would I willingly give myself more responsibilities with literally 0 benefits? I’ve always had an aversion to children and the thought that I’d have to not only tolerate, but love and care for a child. Then be committed to providing for them for the rest of my life. If I did it, I’d want to do it right and that is just not how I want to live my life. Instead I’ll spend my time with my husband playing games, exploring our city, taking dance classes, learning new skills, and traveling the world. I actually really do want kids. Always have, probably always will. Im afraid of how my body will deal with it if i get pregnant and that fear is enough to stop me. I hope that maybe one day i will either be able to adopt, or ill just accept it wont happen for me. i personally wanna spend time with animals, own lots, rescue them, my career i hope is something to do with them like being a veterinarian or some other things
I never felt ready. I was alcoholic, depressed, and selfish. I didn’t want to bring a child into the Penn State Nittany Lions on Saturday Philadelphia Eagles on Sundays Shirt besides I will buy this same environment that I had been brought up in. I was and still am very broody and I love kids. life sucks and i’ve always been content being alone. and for how i’ll spend my time, i’ll do what i want until i decide to end myself or i die of other causes I will not procreate because I can’t justify it outside of selfish reasons. I long to be a mother, but cannot justify (or afford) to bring another human into this sick world. People tend to hate that answer, but idc, it’s my answer. If anything, I would adopt a child who is already here and needs a loving home and family if/when I have the means to. I’m an older brother of six. kids have been my entire life basically. I don’t know if I would ever want to commit to something like that. I have a lot of growing to do and i think by the time I’ve reached a point where I’m emotionally mature enough to raise one I’ll be too old. I really just wanna see the world, experience different cultures, and learn new skills. all of that is impossible when you have a young one.
I flat out don’t like kids I’m gonna sound like a boomer but I’m actually in my late 20s I plain cannot handle rambunctious behavior I have zero tolerance for it. Also I can’t really handle two or more kids arguing it’s just way too overwhelming. I am of the Penn State Nittany Lions on Saturday Philadelphia Eagles on Sundays Shirt besides I will buy this strong belief that parenthood is a commitment that is a lifetime and doesn’t stop at some arbitrary age of adulthood. I simply don’t see myself as having the capacity to make that commitment. Also I generally move around and travel a lot to parent a kid for me to give them that stability is a ball and chain type situation as I see it.
The dumbest thing is that “God’s plan” literally was for women to have immense pain during childbirth as punishment for eating the Penn State Nittany Lions on Saturday Philadelphia Eagles on Sundays Shirt besides I will buy this fruit of the Tree of Knowledge. This came to mind for me as well. According to this woman’s scriptures, she is made specifically to experience agony during birth. If we remove all of the medical/science based interventions in childbirth I guess it’s also god’s plan to have an overwhelming amount of women to die during childbirth. My anesthesiologist told me “this should be the happiest day of your life. We have the drugs for this, why do you want to be in pain for it?” And I was like “Wow, that makes a ton of sense!” If you want to believe in God, then believe in a God that gave us the ability to use our brains to solve problems. Otherwise stop using things like fire and modern plumbing, because God didn’t design them for us. One of my fav moments was with my OB during one of our first appts with first child, discussing various things and pain meds and I was like ‘I don’t really like pain’ and husband was like hmmm but we’re taking Lamaze that’ll be enough right? OB spun on her chair, looked him dead in the eyes and was like ‘so no pain meds for your vasectomy yeah?’ Epidurals are great. Childbirth is insane. If people believe that human ingenuity came from God, then you’d think they’d also believe that the products of that ingenuity also came from God. Right?! I hate having that argument. If God provides, then he provided us with the tools and people to do better.
I had to be induced. I was stuck at 6 cm for hours and hours and hours. I got the Penn State Nittany Lions on Saturday Philadelphia Eagles on Sundays Shirt besides I will buy this epidural and bam. My body was ready to push in like 2 hours. Before it I just couldn’t relax. He was pushing on my pelvic bone and my lower back was in agony. There was no relaxing to move it along. From a certain point of view, nothing can ever be called unnatural because everything came from something natural. Until their sister-wife has an ectopic pregnancy that doctors refuse to deal with due to legal ramifications (like the totally reasonable death penalty /s). Then when their sister-wife dies or doesn’t and is given the death penalty, they’ll just do what they’ve been trained to: blame democrats, liberals, commies, China, etc.
Maybe some MAGA men want this. Maybe it gives them an excuse to simply move on to another wife, and see it like buying a new car, since they view women as property. “Wife died cause democrats killed her so now I get to marry the Penn State Nittany Lions on Saturday Philadelphia Eagles on Sundays Shirt besides I will buy this daughter I’ve lusted over because Donald Trump made wanting to fuck your own daughter so appealing!” What’s odd to me is when God tells Eve her punishment. Eve, who had no kids at the time, was told it would be more painful in childbirth. So she was like “what’s child birth and how painful is it now? How will I know if it was more painful now than before when I have never given birth?” The author Daniel Quinn talks of the agricultural revolution as a metaphor for “knowledge of good and evil” (who shall live and who shall die; hierarchy over nature) and he claims that the story of the fall is a mythology that is a holdover from hunter gatherer tribes who warned of the ecological dangers of monolithic agriculture. There was also Adam’s share of the curse: he would be stung by thorns and prickles while harvesting edible plants. But strangely enough, fundamentalists never had a problem with farmers wearing protective equipment
Also like…women died a lot in childbirth before modern medicine. Our bodies are not built to give birth to us. This! I’m scared shitless of childbirth in whichever form it comes and hearing “Oh but your body was made for this” helps NOTHING! My first thought is always “Ma’am have you not heard of women dying, ever?!” Yes i know medical intervention exists, but my mind is still going to assume that i’m going to fall in the Penn State Nittany Lions on Saturday Philadelphia Eagles on Sundays Shirt besides I will buy this minority of people who have died during or after labour 🫠 Also, if u r part of the lgbtq+ mafia, black, latinx, minority, women… ull have to work harder for the lords love and even with enough hard work u might not be blessed with his grace on this earth. “They’re all turning into terrible people, it must have been the epidurals. What are they doing now? I have no idea, I’m posting.”
or, if the Penn State Nittany Lions on Saturday Philadelphia Eagles on Sundays Shirt besides I will buy this child is male, after not even trying to discipline the child even remotely and using this as an excuse when the teachers tell her the kid can’t handle their shit in kindergarten. I will tell anyone who asks that it was a mistake, a horrible experience, and to get the drugs. I only made that mistake once. Oh yeah i had a c section had an old lafy telling me she actually was a real mother because she gave birth unlike me Always fun My mum is a retired midwife, she said if she saw a teacher come in, she knew she’d be given a massive binder of a birthplan (with no epidural, gas and air, pain killers) that would immediately go out the window when the pain kicked in 4) Make the Midwife/Nurse/Doctor and birthing partner promise to tell me that the poop “never happened” for the rest of my life. Those nurses are poop ninjas, just SWIPE gone instantly, blink and you’ll miss it. I couldn’t remember if my wife did or did not shit herself but now that I remember the ninja swipe I do realize that she did in fact pass a poop. But how the fuck do you NOT poop while pushing out a baby? Imagine you have a tube of toothpaste next to a bowling ball return. Tell me that toothpaste isn’t going to squooze out of there? Nah. Me too. The only thing I knew was that I didn’t want a c-section. After 36 hours of labor and still not dilating I had a c-section. This too was my plan to the surprise of the rest of my birthing group. Well it was “prefer no C-section, drugs, give birth”
