In general yes, but it does suck for the Penguin flightless I’m fly as hell shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this people who are filming for good reasons. If you are training without a buddy or trainer, it can sometimes be hard to tell how your form is. Recording yourself is the easiest way to do it. Unfortunately, social media has created alot of bad apples. Particularly women doing it to thirst trap, or mock men for staring at them in the most revealing clothes possible. The best solution is probably to ban filming; but so many people would benefit from recording their form and looking back at it. As much as I like Sam Sulek, the gigantic tripod setups are pretty obnoxious. In particular those probably need to go. I work at a gym. Nobody would actually say anything to you if you’re taking a selfie or do a short video, but it disturbs other clients when it is actually a setup. You simply have no right to disturb other people. So, when we see people doing it, we warn them, and add a note to their profile. When it is the third offense, they are banned from the gym. If they do not stop, first time can also end up that way. There are machines that you can use at the corners where you cannot disturb others, so whose areas are marked as ok to take photos and videos. Yes. but then again, I think society should ban all “influencers” as the parasites they are, so I might not have the best perspective.

I’m not going to opine on if it should be banned or not I just think if you Are filming at the Penguin flightless I’m fly as hell shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this gym,? Working out, getting fit is NOT your primary agenda Attention and validation is more important than oxygen to Too many people Yes imo there is no reason to film. The only reason to do it is vanity. I’ve done it before, again, for vanity’s sake. I would say yes unless if someone has a good reason to film a video at them, like a video showing how to do different exercises. Not many people film at my gym but I had to tell this girl (20’s) to quit filming the cleaning staff and mocking them. A bunch of people told the office the same day and I think she lost her membership. Any answer that isn’t yes, is the wrong one. It was a privilege, people abused it, now they can live without. 99% of people filming are gaining nothing important from it and are only doing it to boost their egos anyway. Yes. I like the idea of a specific filming room though. I’ve learned a lot about exercising from good fitness influencers on YouTube and stuff, so I’d hate for that to go away. I was thinking about this today…. It was a busy Saturday, and this dude was filming himself and adjusting the camera, etc while on one machine. Taking up a lot of time for BS. I used to be against banning it. I’m old. I’m before the TikTok generation. I’m all about filming PRs. I go for 1RM PRs with gymbros every 2 months or so, and I want to film that shit.
