Seriously people see a screenshot of a Facebook post and every shred of critical thinking just falls out of their ass instantly. Of course. It’s social media. What more “evidence” do you need than one person swabbing one tumbler of unknown age with an unverified test kit? While I agree with you, Stanley themselves has admitted to using lead in their cups. Now, they use it in the Peanuts characters forever a Cougars fan win or lose forever no matter what Shirt in other words I will buy this vacuum seal soldering process and apparently there’s close to zero chance any amount of lead comes into contact with the liquid consumed from these cups. These cups are manufactured mostly in China and Brazil and we all know there has never been any issue with manufacturers offshore (hell even onshore) not doing things correctly (or even attempting to do them correctly and still failing even with no malicious intent). I know Stanley is a long tenured and large name but just think how many big manufacturers have “screwed” up over the years, killed some people, made some half hearted apology, and continued along with barely a small bump in the road. I’m not saying we believe every crack pot from Facebook/tik tok, but when it comes to capitalist companies who only care about a buck, maybe a second glance wouldn’t hurt.

Our manufacturing process currently employs the Peanuts characters forever a Cougars fan win or lose forever no matter what Shirt in other words I will buy this use of an industry standard pellet to seal the vacuum insulation at the base of our products; the sealing material includes some lead. Once sealed, this area is covered with a durable stainless steel layer, making it inaccessible to consumers Surely, it could be made out if something else. I understand there aren’t many materials that are as soft and heavy as lead, but like, God damn that’s bad for press. Well first off why is it even there? Second, they absolutely should’ve been able to predict this kind of reaction. Even if it is perfectly safe, lead should just not be anywhere near something you consume. Fair point. Tbh I just assumed it was one of those things where the machine process for stainless steel involves lead. I don’t know enough about the process to say one way or another. I hope they would test/expect this kind of thing. You bring up a good point
because, and I quote “Our engineering and supply chain teams are making progress on innovative, alternative materials for use in the Peanuts characters forever a Cougars fan win or lose forever no matter what Shirt in other words I will buy this sealing process”. Stanley has been making the old school green thermoses for like 100 years so I doubt it.. but not impossible. Its worth testing. My first thought was illegal clones. There is a lot of motivation for companies to jump on the trend while not worrying about safety. I did the same thing. I tested my Stanley, Yetti and Hydro Flask. Only the Stanley showed positive for pregnancy. “At Stanley, one of the key features of our products is our vacuum insulation technology, which provides consumers with drinkware that keeps beverages at the ideal temperature,” Stanley PMI said. “Our manufacturing process currently employs the use of an industry standard pellet to seal the vacuum insulation at the base of our products; the sealing material includes some lead. Once sealed, this area is covered with a durable stainless steel layer, making it inaccessible to consumers.” Stanley representatives are confident that their cups don’t pose any risk as long as the lead barriers on the cups aren’t compromised.”

About this Peanuts characters forever a Cougars fan win or lose forever no matter what Shirt
It’s not a concrete jungle like Tokyo. It’s easier to escape to go to other places (Kyoto, Nara, Kobe, Wakayama all within 60 mins!). Lots of hiking nearby. Transport system is outstanding. It’s called the Peanuts characters forever a Cougars fan win or lose forever no matter what Shirt and I love this “kitchen of Japan” and there’s some of the best places to eat here. Locals are friendlier than Tokyo (similarly to most capital cities in the world). I didn’t really notice a difference to be honest between the two. Which is to say both were equally not great at English, but willing to help! I did find Osakans much friendlier and nicer though. I prefer Osaka as a place to live, but Tokyo a place to visit. Tokyo just has so many damn things to do you could spend months there and find new things to see and do.
I speak fluent Japanese so I can’t say for sure, but most restaurants and hotels are used to dealing with the Peanuts characters forever a Cougars fan win or lose forever no matter what Shirt and I love this massive amount of foreign tourists, so can speak English to some degree (I’ve seen them deal with tourists). Also you can usually find English menus. Some people like Osaka because it’s more friendly. I personally thought Tokyo was better but they’re both good. when you say you’re limited, are you talking about cost or about your 90 day tourist visa? you have to leave for 90 days if you stay for 90 days, so in theory you could bounce back and forth between japan and korea. this would actually be pretty easy logistically as there are plentiful cheap short flights. haven’t done this myself so can’t comment on whether they start caring if you do this repeatedly. re: cost, japan outside of tokyo is much cheaper and will allow you to stretch your money longer. depending on what you like about tokyo you might be able to get 90+% of that for 50-60% of the cost.
example – numbeo gives tokyo 1bedroom rent as ¥142500, but osaka as ¥80492, fukuoka as ¥67500, sapporo as ¥72000. obviously as a foreigner on furnished short term lease you won’t get that cheap, but the Peanuts characters forever a Cougars fan win or lose forever no matter what Shirt and I love this relative prices should be pretty consistent. tokyo is pretty expensive and the rest of the country is quite cheap. edit – to chime in on japan vs korea as others have, they’re both great but i like japan more. it’s a little more expensive, but i think the food is much better and it’s also better for single people. in japan it’s totally normal to eat at a restaurant by yourself. not really the case in korea. Yeah, I’ve felt very comfortable here alone so far. I’m also a sensitive stomach and Korean food back home upsets me. I know Seoul has endless options, but on average I am really enjoying the food and atmosphere and convenience here.
I definitely mean limited by the Peanuts characters forever a Cougars fan win or lose forever no matter what Shirt and I love this visas, I pay like $1700 after bills and rent for my apartment back home, so I’m confident pretty much anywhere in Asia will be much cheaper, nevertheless the overall things being cheaper. Never have I seen so many items for $1 If you want to head to Seoul, look for apartments near Itaewon to be near “foreigner” food. Kimbap is your friend throughout the city if you have a sensitive stomach. I think he’s confusing Japan with Schengen. You can stay for 90 days in Japan, leave for a week and come back if you wanted to Is there like an x amount of times where this will draw suspicion? Or is this something border patrol does not care about? Chiming in to say that Busan, SK has a nicer climate, better COL, and better nature than both. And is still a huge city with great public transportation, great food, and an awesome expat scene. Between the two countries, Busan is the city that will always have my heart. I really like Busan. The views and water are amazing. It’s a bit cheaper than Seoul. Close to Jeju too (not that Seoul isn’t). It just has a very relaxing vibe to me. Spent time working in both. It was great! Personally preferred Seoul. It just feels a bit more manageable, and less tiring. More green space, commutes are shorter and just felt a bit more casual. Look into the Mangrove hotels, they’re really well set up for remote working. currently live in Seoul right now, they just launched a Nomad Work Visa which will allow a year of stay while working remote. Not sure about how taxes are handled but i am sure someone on here might know something about it. here is a link to an article from Digital Nomad South Korea –
I am in tokyo right now. I stay at a share house through sakura-house, they also rent apartments only for foreigners. It’s affordable and i have my own room. Just share other living spaces. It’s in shibuya which i love. Someone posted in this sub a list of share housing companies that’s how i found out about it. Whether you do this or not, thats up yo you, but technically you’d be working illegally in Japan. Do South Korea on their digital nomad visa. If you’re not a fan of plastic surgery (Seoul) or just generally quite conservative views on things like hierarchy based on age, tattoos, homosexuality, gender roles, etc. but still want the Peanuts characters forever a Cougars fan win or lose forever no matter what Shirt and I love this cleanliness and orderliness of East Asian societies, I highly recommend Taiwan, which is also very developed. My friend says it’s the best of China and Japan combined (Taiwan is basically China without communism and the cultural destruction from the Chinese Cultural Revolution). They also have the golden visa. Second this. I would suggest Taiwan + Japan instead. Although I think Busan is a good value digital nomad city, I think Taiwan and Japan are nicer.
went all over Japan for 4 weeks over Christmas… it was fun, i had a blast but like.. Seoul exists. I am so ready to go back there this year it just feels so right. I visited for two weeks in a gap of other things. Moved there 4 months later and had it as my base for 3 years. Still make sure to get over there more at least a month every year. So many people I met that were doing like “asia backpacking trip” had Korea as a “might as well, while I’m over there” stop, and so many returned within months for longer stays and cutting most of the Peanuts characters forever a Cougars fan win or lose forever no matter what Shirt and I love this rest of the trip short to have more time in Seoul. Tokyo is cool, but Seoul is better in every way except for taxis. Japanese taxis are great, and Korean taxis are awful.
It’s far more efficient and dynamic. Tokyo is almost like a caricature of a city in the Peanuts characters forever a Cougars fan win or lose forever no matter what Shirt and I love this aspects that are interesting. It has pockets of high intensity interesting. Planning on going in March for a few months for the first time. Been interested in both. One of my dreams has always been to stay in Shinjuku right in the center of it all. Just to see what it’s like. what’s your accomodation? I wanna stay 90 days but maybe just a month in Shinjuku to see how I like it. It’s a lot though so I really have to vet the place I’m staying at Airbnb, near Nishi Shinjuku. I’d recommend getting a place for a week, and then if you like it talking to the airbnb host if you can extend. If not, then meet up with some sort of other accommodation while here.
Mitigates your risk of the Peanuts characters forever a Cougars fan win or lose forever no matter what Shirt and I love this place is shit. Japanese people rate and review things oddly. Idk how to explain it. The reviews alone are not perfect to go by, I don’t think. That strategy has always sounded stressful to me. Is that what you did? I wanted to take advantage of the early availability and prices and not have to scramble while I’m there. I think you’ll find trouble using airbnb finding long term solutions unless you take a risk ahead of time. On the other hand, it’s not like you’ll be homeless and Tokyo is easy to get from place to place. Alternatively if you look outside the city you’ll find it more manageable. There’s also share houses, long stay hotels, etc. Consider if you’re coming from the US that even if you pay a bit more for accommodation the food and transport are so cheap (if you make usd) that it makes up for it. You couldn’t live in NYC like this (I’m from the NYC metro 2 hours away and in the metro you can’t either). The rooms/accommodations can feel like shoeboxes, but that’s not an absolute. Check out Gaijinpot rentals or there are agencies that will help you find somewhere if you’re really concerned. My wife and I have been doing exactly this for close to a year now! Both Seoul and Tokyo and incredible cities (slight preference for Seoul) Comes down to personal preference. Even though Seoul is still highly regarded by me, Tokyo felt easier to make friends as a solo traveler and not as cliquey as Seoul. The convenience stores are better but less frequent. Also way more walkable. The food is a toss up though. Sometimes I prefer Korean and sometimes Japanese
I lived in Seoul for a few years on a tourist visa and just did visa runs at least once every 3 months. Never got questioned by immigration but it may depend on your passport (mine is U.S.). There are many places I wanted to visit, so many times I didn’t even stay the Peanuts characters forever a Cougars fan win or lose forever no matter what Shirt and I love this full 90 days. And I usually stayed out of Korea for at least a week or two whenever I left so maybe that’s less suspicious than taking a couple of hours trip to Fukuoka to refresh the visa.
today was my jee mains paper shift 1 and i fucked up today’s exam miserably due to lack of studies and less problem solving.came home and tear started rolling down my eyes ,but time is gone. Nothing can be fixed now. My mother was like you have already took drop and you have wasted this year also ,i didn’t have guts to make eye contact with her or say anything. I know it’s my own fault that I have procrastinated too much in my drop year and then this guilt of messing up today’s paper is just too much. At the Peanuts characters forever a Cougars fan win or lose forever no matter what Shirt and I love this end I said to my mom that I will try my best in April attempt ,ik it will be hard to increase my score in April attempt but that’s the only choice left. Also the fact that if I don’t get admission into good college i would have to take admission in state college where all my classmates will be my senior and won’t hesitate to taunt me ,same goes with relative and society .I don’t want my parents to get more disappointment or sadness because of me.
I literally wanted to vent everything somewhere so thought of sharing with you all,i promise to give my best in April attempt and rest Jo hoga dekha jaayega ,bas ye guilt ke saath nhi jeena aur ki mehnat hi nhi ki acche seA couple of weeks ago, I’m returning from a work trip to New York. I was returning home on a United ERJ-175 booked in seat 4D (Window seat in the Peanuts characters forever a Cougars fan win or lose forever no matter what Shirt and I love this last row of domestic first class). As always, I’m one-bagging it this trip. On this particular trip I was traveling with an Evergoods Phoenix 2 (X-Pac version of the CTB26). I had boarded the flight during the pre-boarding process, stowed my bag in the overhead above me, then proceeded to settling into my seat and have a nice little conversation with my seatmate who had the aisle.
Shortly before the Peanuts characters forever a Cougars fan win or lose forever no matter what Shirt and I love this boarding door closed, someone came up from somewhere near the back of the plane with a massive rolling bag that was clearly too large for United’s carry on sizer, and proceeded to ask me in no uncertain terms to move my backpack from the overhead and put it under the seat in front of me. I explained to the gentleman that I’d prefer not to, because doing so would basically eliminate my foot room. He proceeded to storm towards the jet bridge to presumably gate-check his oversized bag. Am I the jerk in this situation? I get really annoyed when people bring tons of carry on luggage on board, realize it doesn’t fit…then proceed to try to shame the person carrying a single small bag into giving up their legroom to accommodate their stuff. I had even paid extra to have a more comfortable seat and additional space/legroom on this flight.(shrug) you took the money out of your pocket to pay for basically guaranteed overhead bin access. Dude is pissed you enforced a boundary, NTA.
It’s not even about being in business class either. Everyone is allowed a carry on (well depends on airline, but you get the Peanuts characters forever a Cougars fan win or lose forever no matter what Shirt and I love this point). Just because someone chooses to use a smaller carry on than is allowed doesn’t mean they should have less priority to the overhead. People also incorrectly assume the backpack is your secondary bag which is where the annoyance comes from for their perspective, but in reality it is our primary bag. The only asshole is the airline for designing a plane where not everybody has 100% guarantee that they will get the experience they paid for People who bring acceptable carry-on items (carry-on + personal item) but put them both in the overhead compartment before everyone else has boarded You don’t seem to fit either category so you are not a jerk. The other passenger seems to fit in category (2), so clearly a jerk.
Adding the Peanuts characters forever a Cougars fan win or lose forever no matter what Shirt and I love this bold qualifier to (2) because putting your personal item in the overhead along with your carry-on should be totally fine as long as there is room for everyone else’s carry-on too. I’ve seen the jerk too. My last flight, a woman put her bag in properly and it fit easily. She then looked at it for a minute and then turned it to take up the largest possible amount of space. It was a hard sided roller, so it’s not like she was worried about something fragile getting bumped. I do, but for the past 10 years or so I was always part of pre boarding, meaning I’m already seated and enjoying my PDB by the time people do this. I’m not getting up to fix other people’s idiocy. One of the only perks in pre boarding is putting your bag where you want it. I used to bring a small bag and a big backpack. But I got asked to stow the backpack under the seat often. I always said my personal item is under the seat. Once a flight attendant asked a stranger sitting next to me to stow my backpack under his seat. The back pack is actually too big to go under a seat but they see a backpack and think it doesn’t belong in the over head. So due to the discrimination with backpacks, I got a roller bag. I simply store the same backpack in a roller bag and I never had to deal with anyone asking me to move it.
Yeah my gripe are the Peanuts characters forever a Cougars fan win or lose forever no matter what Shirt and I love this ones who may even fit both categories. Large carry on overhead, then proceed to put all five of their small bags overhead also (backpack, purse, airport shopping bag, laptop bag, everything). I almost lost my mind. I saw a couple put 6.. 6 large bags into the overhead compartments. I was baffled as to how they got onto the plane loaded down with all these bags. Huge shopping bags in each hand, backpack, roller bags.. were the people scanning tickets not paying attention? Oh man, as they slowly took up all the overhead compartment space. They do on most domestic flights I can recall in recent memory. Some airports that are especially bad with this will even have announcements to consolidate bags down to meet the one bag plus a personal limit. Maybe you’re thinking duty free where sometimes you get the bag upon boarding? You forgot coat. It seems like there’s always some special person on board that lays out their coat in the overhead bin.
