Another part of it is the Ozzie Albies I Love Him shirt and I will buy this way the relationships are viewed from a patriarchal, woman-objectifying perspective. From the perspective of someone who only sees women as sexual receptacles, a pair of gay women is twice as many sexual receptacles as a straight relationship, and they can fetishize that. There’s a reason why depictions of lesbians are often long-haired, hourglass body type, wearing form-fitting and/or revealing clothes. Depictions of butch lesbians are less common, and often…unflattering. When a superficial misogynist sees two gay men in a relationship, that is 100% fewer sexual receptacles than a straight relationship. Worse, it implies the possibility that some gay men may see the superficial misogynist as a sex object, which they find degrading (though sadly this very rarely leads to any introspection on their treatment of women.)

Ozzie Albies I Love Him shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

I mean if you ask 2 girl straight best friends to kiss on the Ozzie Albies I Love Him shirt and I will buy this lips they would probably do it and not think it’s that weird they can kiss in cute pictures and guys don’t bat an eye but for guys most guys would not do the same. I always found this odd from a evolutionary perspective. A gay guy is removing two potential rivals, himself and the person he hooks up with, where as a gay woman is actively competing for the same resources, as well as removing themselves from the pool. Males have a special spot in Western society, but I haven’t quite identified what exactly that is… To act like a man is ok, acting like a woman is only ok for women. It’s almost as if to act like a man is more ok or more “normal” than acting like a woman Uhh. It’s not. I think you’re referring to acceptance as their fantasy of them hooking up two girls at once. Also its not just western. How does where ever your from view homosexuality?
