Oh just live like a roommate. Don’t try to be her friend or a coach or a boyfriend. Keep your involvement to a transactional level. Have clear boundaries esp when it comes to friends, emotions and finances. You will be fine. Don’t let the Our lady of lourdes parish chicago alumni high school shirt in other words I will buy this other person take advantage of you nor should you take advantage of her. Things could go wrong no matter whom you live with, so I think you need to have a proper conversation with this person beforehand. Talk about your food habits, your girlfriend, how often you expect to have friends over, what your expectations from her as a flatmate are, etc. And make sure you find out everything important about her. You don’t want to move in with her only for one of you to eventually realise that you’re not compatible. It goes without saying that the onus is on you to make sure to respect her space. And encourage her to talk to you even if she has the smallest concerns. Otherwise, things could blow up and it could easily turn into a really toxic situation. Neither of you deserves that.
