I don’t understand what was great about it, this is no Seven/Zodiac and the Our First Mother’s Day Mom life Mama T-Shirt moreover I will buy this Riddler was garbage, Paul Dano’s character in Prisoners was scarier than this, and the plot pales compared to previous mentioned thrillers Paul Dano was much better in Prisoners. The plot is not great on a whole bunch of levels. I can’t believe I didn’t think about no one went to where the pictures were taken for clues. I guess the riddler was just counting on a cops uncle doing carpeting and knowing what the tool was called? There was no other way he would’ve discovered the fucking password otherwise. No riddle about something under the floor. Bring Falcone into this one specific street light so I can shoot him. Why did Alfred open the package that had similar and distinct handwriting matching the cipher/riddles he had already helped solve? Didn’t think this is from a villain be careful? There’s so much potential in this movie, and I’m just sad to feel as let down as I am. If there’s a sequel I hope that the scripts quality improves drastically. I forgot about the carpeting tool, what a stupid thing to do, in BvS, Batman stopping when hearing Superman say Martha seems like a great scene now compared to this movie I feel im losing this my mind with this movie. I saw it with friends who all loved if, but i really disliked it. I thought the characters and writing were bad. The ‘riddles’ were so poorly written… i mean comon the stool pidgeon/ rat with wings … that finally by chance discover its a falcon… when it could of been anything with wings….. the penguin was such a boring character who was basically an incompetent mob boss. Batman didn’t have any cool gadgets… and his bat mobile was just a basic car with a jet engine. The riddler was just some dork kid upset with the world and has a mental illness from it… and had to ask a bunch of other social outcast online how to rig a bomb days before he does it…. Like this wasnt some brilliant plan of his he had planned out and researched for years. The only reason it took so long to catch him was the script called for it.

If Batman used his detective skillz and investigated the POV of the photos where the Mayor and Annika was caught then it wouldve saved me a 3 hour boring ass film. That really clicked for me when I saw that apartment and then realized how dumb every single detective in the movie is is. You keep getting photos with the exact same vantage point of this one particular bar and nobody thinks to investigate why that may be? Movie sucked ass. Lemme tell you why, the story was not immersive. Characters I did not care about at all, Alfred was just some random old guy. And it just was not good. The riddler was a terrible villain
