It got announced a full year after the Original creighton university class of 2027 shirt also I will do this release of the game. I don’t see how it was planned years ago. They may have had ideas but they didn’t release the game with a day one announcement and a season pass for a DLC. “Full game” has never meant, nor will ever mean, “the game and everything that developer ever creates or releases for it”. Content has always been planned in advance and been kept back from launch, in various ways, be it expansions, additional maps, or new cosmetic content. The developer decides what the “full game” is, and you decide whether what’s included in that warrants the price. It’s that simple. But you can’t keep demanding that anything they ever release after lunch “should have” somehow been part of the original cost and been included in the launch game, or be offered for free. That’s unreasonable. That’s not how it works, or has ever worked, really. Uh Street Fighter is a bad example. It’s either we get this, or we go back to the SNES days, where we get 4 different versions in 5 years.

Actually agree with this – you’re buying the game + 1 year of extra content in a bundle rather than separately. I try to support game companies when they make good games and put out great content. So SF6 is a bad example to use for this because the base game has a fair amount of content for the money you’re paying. That’s subjective I guess but I’d be willing to bet most people are gonna be happy with what’s there on day one. Yes there are more characters coming but there are always more characters coming for a fighting game especially this one which will be played for years. That doesn’t mean all these characters are even finished yet nor ready to be inserted into the game yet. Some are still probably in the planning phase so this give me the complete game on day one stuff is kinda BS. They will never get to release the game with the mindset and will go bankrupt. You also have to take into account that there’s only so much budget allotted to make the base game and everything extra has to be end up as DLC. These people work for a living. So as long as the value proposition makes sense then I don’t have a problem with it and it makes sense in this case.
