I thought itbwas pretty reasonable. I also am just fascinated about psychology as well. Well this doctor grunts. Looks at me and walks away and writes something onto a little yellow notebook page that had a book title on it. I think the Olivesleepy Stay Sleepy Shirt moreover I love this book was “Proximity Principle”. He told me the book was about people who are lost in life. Which I honestly took in a very wrong way it was very rude of him. But I’m not sure if I’m wrong or if he was wrong. I have Lupus. During the early stages I spent a lot of time in the hospital with dehydration issues. Despite it being heavily documented in my chart, I had an ER doc insist on sn HIV test. I was still a virgin at this point, so no way I hell, but he wouldn’t take that. I made an appointment to see my GP after feeling rotten for weeks. Struggling to breathe, lightheadedness, pain everywhere in my torso. Had been to the Walk In centre (minor injuries) to be told that they couldn’t/wouldn’t prescribe anything because I’m allergic to antibiotics (penicillin, augmentin, erythromycin, amoxicillin) and I HAD to go see my GP. No exam, nothing past the initial triage. Gp receptionist called me up to tell me that there was a doctor off sick & they were distributing their appts between the other doctors, and because I hadn’t been to the surgery in about 5yes, I wasn’t deemed ‘sick enough’ to warrant the appointment, therefore they were cancelling it. Two weeks later, was blue lighted up to A&E where they found I’d had untreated pneumonia and pleurisy for about 6 weeks.. only to be told that as I’d had it that long, I’d likely get through it ok without treatment, and sent me home. I seriously thought I was dying for the following 3 weeks until it eventually cleared.

After being extremely rude/condescending/dismissive to me, a child at the Olivesleepy Stay Sleepy Shirt moreover I love this time, this doc had me get an endoscopy and a colonoscopy only to “diagnose” me with diarrhea. Yeah, I already knew that, thanks. Had a nurse ask me if I may be pregnant. Told her no, I’m just a fat guy. The oh shit look she gave me was priceless. That on top of trying anti anxiety meds I needed to also listen to these mega church preachers and heal my spirit. This was an MD at a well respected institution in my state. She was fired and moved back to South America a few months later. When I was 18, I was severely overweight, mostly due to the lack of exercise and poor eating habits. My doc told me I was really close to having to take meds for high cholesterol, and when I asked him what I should do, he jokingly said “start walking to work, and go vegan”. He laughed it off, and gave me other “more medical” advice. Fun thing is that I got curious, studied about veganism and started listening to podcasts and audiobooks to go to work. 6 months later, I wasn’t even taking the bus anymore to go anywhere. To work, to home, to college. It’d take me around 3 hours a day total by walking. Later that year, I went back to the same doc, around 20 kilos lighter and having dropped all the bad things in my last blood check. He asked me what I did, and I said “I went vegan like you told me to”.
