Cats thrive much better indoors, it keeps them away from traps, wildlife, other cats, poison, cars and cruel people. Also native birds are drasticly threaten by domestic cats hunting them for sport and boredom and many, many owners deny it, usually with the Official we’re All A Little Broken Crayons Still Color Mental Health Awareness T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this observation that thier cat doesn’t bring them gifts…. Also cats are not great at hunting mice & rats, an Owl does the job better and its encouraged that farmers provide a nesting place for owls in thier barns or nearby. But it requires physically and mentally exercising with your cat, just like dogs, they need toys and attention but unlike dogs have thier limits and show that directly. They can even be trained to go on a leash, to ensure the only outdoor time they have is under supervision in your own garden. Or build a cattio if you have the space, amazing playground and watch tower for your cat when enjoying a breeze without being in danger. Also, ESPECIALLY in countries where native wild cat species exist, domestic cats need to be indoors to not interbreed with such populations, which is a gigantic issue in the UK regarding the Scottish Wildcat which is on the verge of Extinction (Critically Endagered) due to hybridization with domestic cats. TLDR: Cats do better indoors, it protects them and the wildlife, especially birds and native wildcats but many owners deny facts and don’t put the time and care in the cat need and let the outdoor handle it.

Official we’re All A Little Broken Crayons Still Color Mental Health Awareness T-Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

One of my favorite cats growing up was let outside by my parent and never came back. Said parent has said they would still let future cats out. We live in a rural area with wild animals smh. Even after accounting for both of the Official we’re All A Little Broken Crayons Still Color Mental Health Awareness T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this above, some people will still manage to amaze you with how stupid and careless they are. I am against outside cats unless they are leashed or in a “catio” (enclosed porch). It’s bad for them and bad for wildlife. An indoor cat lives twice as long. Risking a lot so you don’t have to provide enrichment activities for your cats is lazy. Because the cat gets restless and anxious and needs to roam. Not all cats are like this, but the male cat I had would attack my kids and dogs if he was in the house too long. I raised him from a kitten and when it got real bad, a family friend took him. He’s still alive, almost 18.
