I was just wondering and hoping if this is a scare tactic or if she has legal ground to do this. I also apologize for how messy this entire post is, I’ve been scrambling everywhere for advice. Fortunately my S/O is great enough to offer my roommate and I to stay w him for a while till this can be sorted out but we don’t want to trouble him. I’d be willing to provide any information and do appreciate any help people can provide. Edit 2: I can’t thank you all enough for the Official well older now and still runnin’ against the wind signature shirt Besides,I will do this help you’ve provided and for those who defended me against the trolls. We’re still doing our best to gather what info we can but we’ve been here for 14 months without a problem. Edit 3: If you’re here to talk about your personal opinions or feelings about the police, I beg you to check other subreddits and please leave me alone and stop messaging me. Thank you to the mods for stepping in. Oh man, I just had flashbacks to that guy who wanted to evict the landlord (it was his mom who moved back into her house that she owned)

Under California law, a lodger is “a person contracting with the Official well older now and still runnin’ against the wind signature shirt Besides,I will do this owner of a dwelling unit for a room or room and board within the dwelling unit personally occupied by the owner, where the owner retains a right of access to all areas of the dwelling unit occupied by the lodger and has overall control of the dwelling unit.” Lodgers pretty much have the same rights as tenants. The big exception is if there is only one lodger in the dwelling. In that case, lodger can be evicted by giving them a notice that is as long as the rent payment period (week, month, etc.). No court order is needed. No, lodger only applies to a single person. Once there is more than one, you’re considered to be running a boarding house, and tenant protections apply. Man I’m sorry I don’t catch this before it was locked. The landlord wants to evict someone in San Francisco for a stupid reason? They are going to have a bad time.
