The question is whether the referees see definitive interference. They must have saw definitive interference, and thus it was overturned. Obviously. I was just using the debate here as an example. I’m saying that there’s no way it was definitive for the refs or Toronto so it should’ve stood as a goal because that was the on ice call. 50/50 goal call any way you cut it. Tell me you’re going to call it a goal that late in the game with Sid on the other side. To OT they go.

I remember a few years ago him and Ryan Callahan were racing for a lost puck, and Callahan had a step on him. He slew footed Cally and somehow a penalty was called on Cally. Idk as the governing body of the league I would hope they would treat it fairly in all situations but they tend to be inconsistent so who knows If the call is this borderline, then why would you not stick with the call on the ice. The NHL consistently gets this wrong I was listening on the radio and the announcers said it was a good GI call; my dad watching on the TV was like “no” I can see a case being made either way but my first impression is that the goal should have counted. To me, it looked like Dumoulin made more contact with DeSmith than Kappo did. That is not GI and in a game where the pens have had so many more power plays they of course get it to go their way.
