Unaware to me, whilst I was turning away the Nu Skin I Love My Job Ask Me About Joining My Team Shirt and by the same token and parcel – the courier had photographed the parcel in their hand, with the lower part of my legs and our door in the frame – also mistakenly marking it as delivered. I was also confronted about this again and shown the image on her phone screen – leaving me to reiterate that we 100% didn’t take it, nor would we. It goes without saying that we didn’t take this parcel, and we have zero interest in pilfering anything from anyone, but is there anything the neighbour could legally do about it? I ask as my partner and I both have jobs that require us to be upstanding citizens and from searching reddit for answers, I could only find posts from the perspective of people who are on the other end of the issue from us.

EDIT Thanks for everyone’s replies to this thread, they’ve been really helpful. As good or just okay neighbourly relations go – nobody wants someone to think you’ve nicked their post, so this has put our minds at ease. The general consensus is that the Nu Skin I Love My Job Ask Me About Joining My Team Shirt and by the same token and courier may have pinched it and from a neighborly perspective, we’ve offered to help the neighbours on this. As we always have lots of comings and goings at our home, we’re going to get a Ring doorbell on the off-chance it happens again.Offer to your neighbour that if it would assist them you would be more than happy to write a short statement they can provide to John Lewis that the delivery driver lied and did not deliver the parcel to you. Great advise. Was hoping to catch them in person but I’d missed them, so I’ve fired them over a text to say this.
