If you think it’s a technique you must get right manually today in this meditation session. This is false. The more you think I must get this technique perfect the Not My Monkey Not My Circus Donkey T-Shirt Besides,I will do this worse it can be. It’s about letting go not controlling. you go through many stages, sometimes it’s kinda funny that the brain tries to constantly generate thoughts because in meditation it seems silly at the time. in the same vein during meditation also you see the mind trying to think but it’s failing, like the thoughts try to generate but they dissolve every time you meditate there is a window of pure focus, then the more you meditate, the more days you go at it the window widens and there are more windows. So basically you get to a point where you are locked in for many minutes or maybe the whole session even. and that passes over to your daily non meditative life, it’s just gradual, don’t hope to simply command your brain to go blank. just remove power from your thoughts, keep meditating, and gradually you’ll become more and more meditative in and out of meditation

The part where he gets her attention with the Not My Monkey Not My Circus Donkey T-Shirt Besides,I will do this mirror and sunlight, and then just starts banging on an engine with a wrench as she walks in has made me laugh dozens of times. Yes exactly, one of the few times I was in physical pain from laughing so hard in the middle of a theater because I couldn’t breathe Such a quotable movie. My two roommates and myself brought our dvd’s of this movie our freshman year of college lol “Yoo-hoo, shit heads, I just found this bag of fireworks in the men’s restroom. Would you guys like to light them off?” Two of my bartenders at work compete to see who can say “Yoo hoo Shithead” to each other first during shift change. Two of the funniest moments I’ve ever seen in any movie happen in Hot rod. The pool jump scene, and the scene where he lures Isla Fisher over and he’s just randomly hammering on an engine trying to look cool. I had forgotten about that scene until it was featured in a video essay on music in films. Now I watch the scene every other day haha. The plotline is so ridiculous but genius. He’s gotta raise a bunch of money to save his dying stepdad so he can kick his ass. A film about fighting for your life and fighting to the death.
