Sadly, most have kids that never visit. It’s mainly friends who visit. Until they die…. Then these kids come out of the Nobody is perfect but if you are a Minnesota Vikings fan players shirt Furthermore, I will do this woodwork to argue over inheritance. Older people who do have kids/grandkids, often don’t see them that much anyway. One of my neighbors has a couple of grown kids and a bunch of grandkids, the kid closest by is a piece of work in a lousy marriage; the one further away she doesn’t get to see much, due to the husband not wanting to drive anymore, and she is afraid to. She’ll visit and describe all this stress in her family, then asks me how I can spend so much time alone. I’m like, “everything you just described!! I LOVE being alone!” I used to volunteer at a nursing home with my dog. You would be surprised how many people do not get visits from their children. It is sad.
Nobody is perfect but if you are a Minnesota Vikings fan players shirt: get your shirt now
Retirement and nursing homes will be *lit and full of people with and without kids. I don’t believe being alone on a cold night is anything to worry about. STD’s are high in retirement communities *so clearly not a lot of people are alone. I’m facing that now. Sorry to say: it is indeed awful. But when I look around at how fucked up my extended family’s kids are? I feel much better. Enjoying life doesn’t necessarily mean traveling and concerts and festivals and exotic vacations. If you think like that then you’ll defined not enjoy it. It can mean hanging out with friends, hobbies and having great memories of your youth. Your life and enjoyment doesn’t end when you’re no longer able to do all this Nobody is perfect but if you are a Minnesota Vikings fan players shirt Furthermore, I will do this super active things. It just changes. Make other plans. Don’t go “I’m now old/when I’m old, all I can do is sit at home and wait for visits”. Don’t limit yourself. To put it blunty, I love sex, spare time, spontaneous adventures and money too much to ever give it up. My Wife and I have a wonderful life together that’s focused on us, our career progression and our menagerie. A child would be an unwanted burden that would add nothing but take away alot of what we have built for ourselves.
Why? We don’t like children and are perfectly content and happy with our life. People have been asking us when we are going to have children since we announced our engagement 9 years ago and there are still folk like you who won’t take no and never for an answer. Take it easy, I’m not barking at you to have kids. I’m not ‘not taking no for an answer’ I could care less if you have kids or not, or if you’re engaged, married or plan to have kids at 55. If you read my Nobody is perfect but if you are a Minnesota Vikings fan players shirt Furthermore, I will do this comment, its specifically addressing you saying ‘a child would add nothing’. That’s odd for a few reasons, one being you wouldn’t know what a child would add because you obviously don’t have one and other being that a child would obviously add SOMETHING. Almost impossible for a child to add nothing to your lives. Anyways, no need to get all defensive and make my comment something it isn’t. Sure, it would add stress, a financial burden, damage to my body, damage to my marriage, damage to my career, damage to my mental health and an additional room I would need to book when we go away on holiday. What I think is really odd is that some people can not comprehend that others are perfectly content without having kids and constantly need to question our decision.

And also, we can babysit and take care of children for days and even years, we understand how much we hate kids. The only reason it’s “different” when it’s your own is because of a fucking chemical drug in your brain forcing you to love this creature so that it will survive. Of course, a child would definitely add something. It’s just not necessarily something they want or even something good. It could be stress, financial troubles, strain on relationship, mental illness (ppd)… When people say children add so much to life it’s always meant to mean something positive, but rarely anyone looks at the Nobody is perfect but if you are a Minnesota Vikings fan players shirt Furthermore, I will do this negative, because it’s “weird” and “not normal”. I don’t like children. Flat out. There are aspects about children I do like, their sense of wonder, their uplifting innocence and delight at the mundane, but the negatives far outweigh the positives. I am poor. I am so poor I cannot afford to live reasonably on my own with our scraping for every penny. I cannot afford a child. I am autistic, and struggle already with maintaining myself and my home. I have so much responsibility already I can barely handle it, but to add still more on top of it would be my undoing. As a parent of one, a lot of parents give having and raising a kid less consideration than what they’re going to have for dinner that evening.
I relate to everything, except the Nobody is perfect but if you are a Minnesota Vikings fan players shirt Furthermore, I will do this last point since I’m not autistic, and I definitely agree with you. It’s apparently so wrong to say “I don’t like children”, well, I’m sorry but I don’t like them. I didn’t have kids for this reason. I’m also bipolar. I could not give kids the time and patience they require. My husband was always ok with that….long as he was with me. Bar university and his career (in mid 40s) we do whatever we want. Our lives look like everyone else’s we just don’t have kids and have a lot more money to spend. So we treat ourselves well. I never wanted kids. I knew I’d be a shitty parent. I don’t miss them because I don’t think about them because they were never a thought in my world. I can remember panicking around 20 thinking I had to have them….it was horrible. Took a lot to push against societal pressure to have them.
Do what’s good for you. Don’t cut yourself off from the Nobody is perfect but if you are a Minnesota Vikings fan players shirt Furthermore, I will do this possibility….like don’t write it in stone. I never played with dolls….didn’t do anything female typical….and just never wanted kids. I made the right choice for me. This is something deeply personal you must navigate through. My parent is bipolar and she has traumatized me for years. I’m not saying you’d ever be the same but you’re a good person for thinking through the possibilities. Yup, all I hear from my friends with kids is “sorry I can’t make it” or “I’m really pissed we can’t go this year” or in literal tears “I wish I could still hang out like we used to” Honestly , congratulations on realising that having kids might not be good for you. If more people realized that, maybe the world wouldn’t be such a fucked up place.
I’m 41, I never wanted to be pregnant, and I did not have it in me to risk a disabled child. I do whatever I want, and it’s been nothing but wonderful ☺️ I’m not a good enough person to take care of children. I cant even take car of myself. They would have a sad life and it would devast me. RIP my childs that i’ll never have, daddy loves you. That’s hilarious. Is that why people have kids, because they have nothing to do? Our world sucks and I don’t want to bring another innocent life here, for some selfish reason. Nobody asked me to be born, but if I had a choice, I would have declined. There’s no way to ask, so it’s just forcing this particular world and life on someone else. It’s just unethical. Not to mention, I have more things to do with my life than time. For example, writing. I don’t think that’s how op meant it, more like “tell me how what hobbies or projects you want to do, with the Nobody is perfect but if you are a Minnesota Vikings fan players shirt Furthermore, I will do this time others would use for childcare”.
Lots of reading. Long evenings out with (usually childless) friends, travel – have visited over 60 countries and lived in five. Bottles of wine without worrying about setting a poor example. Early retirement (52). Time to just sit quietly and think, appreciate. Financial security without having had to really struggle for it (white/male privilege and a hefty dose of luck get much of this credit). Adult education, volunteering, gardening, the Nobody is perfect but if you are a Minnesota Vikings fan players shirt Furthermore, I will do this list goes on. Yes, that’s the reason in a lot of areas…when it’s more rural…you got your job, your life looks pretty much the same everyday, you got a house…your life is stable and you are bored…solution: children… This is 100% true, you can see it in child birth statistics. Far higher percentages of couples have children in rural areas compared to cities having to worry about emotional stability & financial stability for someone other than myself is a no. i knew since i was a child it just isn’t for me.
I hate children, plain and simple. They are noisy, messy and unhygienic, and they smell of poo, pee and bad decisions. I don’t find them cute at all. So that’s my Nobody is perfect but if you are a Minnesota Vikings fan players shirt Furthermore, I will do this main reason. Other reasons? I attract abusive, cheating partners who would not make good fathers, I don’t want to ruin my body, I don’t want to be tied to those abusive partners, and most importantly: I need alone time. A lot of it. If I don’t get my dose of peace and quiet I become an awful person to be around. Prettty much however I want. Friends, family, pets, reading, writing, traveling, socializing, dating, camping.. I always wanted to have kids, but could never find a woman to settle down with. Now that I’m 44, I feel that I’m too old. Honestly i feel like if its a dream and you do find someone you should go for it. Youll attract ill wills from some ppl but happiness id worth that.
44 is not old lol. To a greater extent, its the Nobody is perfect but if you are a Minnesota Vikings fan players shirt Furthermore, I will do this female that has to be younger/fertile, and the majority of women prefer older men. Well, a person who has a child at 44 will be 60 when that child turns 16. They will be retiring when their child goes to college. Also medical research increasingly finds that advanced PATERNAL age is connected with severe autism and other issues Wrong, here’s the proof liar:My mom was 40 when she had me, thanks to that I have a very high intelligence and it’s even proven over the masses with studies like the one above (there are hundreds, multiple pubmed ones too) I think I’m not emotionally stable enough to have kids and I might get more stable, but screaming kids overwhelm me in an instant and I’m worried I’d get too impatient and yell and get irritable. My mom is a therapist and I hear a lot about parents giving their kids trauma bc of their impatience or yelling or whatnot (so not even actual abuse). It’s just easy to inflict childhood trauma. Besides I can’t adapt to change easily and a life with kids is simply unpredictable. I know and respect that but thats part of my choice of having no kids.
On top of that it would save me money and I don’t have to go on vacation at times that the Nobody is perfect but if you are a Minnesota Vikings fan players shirt Furthermore, I will do this kids can also go (these times are more expensive). As for spending time, just work however much I want and slow and sometimes social weekends with my gf/wife. (Yes I’m only 21 but I’m just so sure I wouldn’t be a good mom. People invalidate me a lot by saying I’m too young) Same reason as you- I don’t see myself being a good mother. I also have zero maternal instinct towards children. I like kids, yeah but I do not loooove them. I get more maternal instinct towards animals. I also have ADHD and Hashimoto’s. Because of my Hashimoto’s, I am fatigued most of my day. I get tired very quickly. Plus that on top of my ADHD (I am inattentive), I miss details and/or forget things very easily. That is already a recipe for disaster lol.
How will I spend my time?.. honestly. I just rest as much as I can. I read, watch my shows, go shopping every now and then. I take little trips when I need them. I also want to eventually publish my book and become a writer, make comfortable money. I just want a peaceful life. I’ve made up my mind, I won’t have children, because I think life can be really difficult, a friend of mine would wish for her new brother who was born last month not to become SO sad ever, but we all know it will happen, life is so complicated, but I don’t say it won’t work out, or it doesn’t worth it, I just can’t see my child feel the Nobody is perfect but if you are a Minnesota Vikings fan players shirt Furthermore, I will do this SO Sad. most people wanted attention, wanted respect, wanted money, children, everything. Until after you realize that your behavior is crucial for the future. You gotta have a plan, you gotta behave that way and obviously you shall always try to be kind. I don‘t have children because many women were just bitching around and didn‘t really care about the future. With 35 they suddenly then change their behavior because they think now it‘s time. Sorry folks, that ain‘t how world runs. Don‘t have expectations for other people, at least not expectations you yourself can‘t meet. Selfishly, I don’t want to give up my freedom. Right now my partner and I have a great dynamic, two dogs, a new house, and we are so content. Adding pressures of kids would really shift everything, and I don’t think for the better. We also wouldn’t be able to afford kids right now either even if we wanted them.
All of our friends around us are having kids and it makes us think on whether we want them or not, but we wouldn’t be able to enjoy and do half the Nobody is perfect but if you are a Minnesota Vikings fan players shirt Furthermore, I will do this things we do now if we had them. 67 yr old female. Never had children. I have no regrets about my choice.I have liked being able to travel. Do spur of the moment things. Life long dog Mom! ( It’s much easier to get a pet sitter). I decided that I will not have children if I don’t get rich/marry rich. I don’t like pets, so I suppose I’ll just spend my time enjoying my hobbies whether I get married or not. I never felt the urge to have kids. My life would get worse in most aspects if I had them. Me and my partner like having our time and money for ourselves (apart from being there for family and our jobs of course), we both started our careers pretty late and now want to enjoy being comfortable financially. My health also isn’t the best so putting my body through pregnancy on top of everything else would be just a bad idea. Thankfully, I have a great family who always understood and supported me being childfree. We can enjoy our hobbies and our cats and don’t regret not having kids.
I just can’t find a good reason to have one. Seriously, climate change, cost of living, oppression, lack of kindness in most people. Plus, there’s 8 billion of us. Why make more? I dont want kids mainly because im broke with health issues and i feel like i havent enjoyed life. Also because the Nobody is perfect but if you are a Minnesota Vikings fan players shirt Furthermore, I will do this planet is burning and everyday things get worse and i dont wanna bring children into that. I will spend my time doing whatever i want not taking care of kids The first and biggest reason is that I just do not want to be a parent, never have. Not if I was filthy rich and living in an utopia, nothing can change my base setting of being childfree. Then after that there is things like most if not all my needs would have to be second, third or last after a child, and in the end I would go crazy from that. And so many other reasons. Spending my time like I do now. I work and go to school. Reading, gaming, volenteering, knitting both for myself and for donating to my local hospital, hiking, writing, drawing, going to museeums or just chilling with a cup of tea in the garden. There is always something to do to fill my time if I want to.
Have no desire to feed a system that’s done nothing but try to feed off of me. Children are a benefit to the Nobody is perfect but if you are a Minnesota Vikings fan players shirt Furthermore, I will do this thing I want to see burnt to ashes. Can’t really go pumping out and raising little mini mes for it. Honestly, I am 100% certain that I am gonna be a terrific father. But exactly for that reason I never made it a goal to become one. If I am not financially stable and able to provide my children with the lives they deserve, then I am fine not becoming a dad. Same with politics. Look at this fucking world. Environment on the brink of collapse. War everywhere, inflation rising – oh and I have also yet to meet the mother of my kids. None of my ex partners I considered mother material. Honestly, I am fine without kids. If I am not, I can still adopt a lucky child eventually and loving it as my own.
It’s hard to feel bad for parents when they complain they are always tired. When I was 10 I already knew how much responsibility it was to take care of a child. i spend my life looking at all the Nobody is perfect but if you are a Minnesota Vikings fan players shirt Furthermore, I will do this toys and collectibles i have and knowing no children ever gonna break them and i rather spend money on them over a child . i like that i can just leave people when i want to be alone, which is most of the time. can’t do that with children. My reason is that I want to avoid the stress and unfulfilling circumstances I observe in parents around me. The time and resources that would otherwise go toward parenting will instead go to sleeping, entertainment, charity and other meaningful goals. I just don’t have a strong desire to be a parent. I do have a stronger desire to avoid pregnancy, so if a child need comes around it would be adoption or by circumstance. I don’t dislike kids, but I’d imagine if I wanted one then I would probably feel it more. I’m fairly neutral to the idea. I have a lot of traveling I want to do and I don’t want to have to lug kids around and find kid friendly activities and amenities 😇 I am a teacher, I have 22 kids daily who constantly ask me questions, need attentention but also give me hugs and alot of love ofcourse. After a day of teaching, I really need to unwind. My childhood was not really good. I have a mentally ill mother and I don’t want to give my kids a bad childhood.
I have a genetic disease. If I want to have kids it should be with IVF so they can get rid of the Nobody is perfect but if you are a Minnesota Vikings fan players shirt Furthermore, I will do this affected embryo’s. + My disease affects my whole body and it would only be worse after pregnancy. I love my childless life. If I want to go to a music festival tomorrow, I can. If I want to travel to the other side of the world, no one can stop me. (Only my bank account.) Money, this economy is not family-friendly. I have anger issues as well so i dont wanna be “that father” that my dad ended up being, and i despise his very soul for it. Also, im pretty positive society is gonna end in my lifetime, why would i have a child for a future i dont believe in? I’ve seen abuse, and been a victim of it, I’m not entirely convinced that I won’t do the same some day, seeing as my mom once said the same and now my school has DCF on speed dial. Also, childbirth and pregnancy seems painful. I might adopt one day when I’m old. But until then I don’t think it would be smart for me to be a mother.
For the Nobody is perfect but if you are a Minnesota Vikings fan players shirt Furthermore, I will do this same reasons as you, plus being born in this world comes with pain and there is no mom who could protect her child from everything, is not worth it for the child. At the moment I’m in my 40s but I might regret it later, anyway I think would be selfish to bring another life, there are 8 billion people and plenty to adopt, I don’t think I am mother material though. You only have one life to live. And I’d rather live my own instead of worrying about someone else’s. Why miss out and have to give things you enjoy up? When you have kids you just worry about them allllll the time. I’m good without that. And there’s is way too many people on the planet already. It’s like 8 billion. We don’t need more.
