I had to learn to let go and trust him and he had to learn to step up and be pro active in our marriage and household. Fast forward a year, I got pregnant and he ended up researching and putting together our whole baby registry. We each did half the thank you notes. He’s taken over food shopping and meal planning, he researched and interviewed pediatricians and he took the lead on getting on daycare waitlists. We communicate about everything. It’s really improved our relationship.
