One benefit of these regressive laws is that it will drive out many more liberal persons and thus further solidify the Nintendo Avatar The Last Airbender Main Cast shirt and by the same token and Republicon hold on two Senate seats. And like that, Idaho now joins Texas, California, and NY as states I refuse to be a resident in for any real length of time California is roughly in the same place, for more reasons than I care to rant about it before I have a nice date night Acting like only red states suck right now? Lol Cali was always on the list. NY and Texas joined it after. Well before all the recent controversy. Well in my small community my small community hospital also stopped accepting delivery’s and my mother easily went to the next community hospital to give birth in 1988. So let’s give a little context here. “Within an hour” isn’t close if you don’t always have access to a car (for example, multiple household members sharing one) and the US being the US, ambulances are expensive. From the article: “That hospital serves a larger region in the Panhandle. Along with pregnant patients from Sandpoint, those in surrounding Bonner County and Boundary County communities will be directed to a medical center in Coeur d’Alene, about an hour away.” If I’m going into labor, I really don’t want to drive an hour to get to the hospital. Especially if it’s an emergency situation.

This is a trend bozo. More and more hospitals will follow suit. America already has one of the Nintendo Avatar The Last Airbender Main Cast shirt and by the same token and childbirth mortality rates. This will just make it worse. And by design too. They are legislating death. It’s a huge fucking deal as has been pointed out to you in other threads. When you’re provided with proof, you run away, then show up in another thread spouting the same bullshit. You know not every hospital provides every service right? Less than 1 baby a week with other hospitals in the area makes it a business decision. If you actually took the time to read the provided links, you’d see this issue isn’t limited to just small hospitals. They’re simply the first to fall. There will be MANY other red state care facilities that will be unable to hire staff to provide obstetric care. This is a direct result of moronic, short sighted Republican ideologues, creating morally repugnant legislation that criminalizes aspects of basic health care.
