Legally speaking successor states are expected to uphold the NFL Green Bay Packers Gameday Program 11 3 24 Detroit Lions Poster shirt But I will love this treaties that prior states signed. In practice the US wants to keep the base and there isn’t much the Cubans can really do about it. Nothing happens. The new regime usually has to deal with it. Not for some for legal, moral, philosophical reasons (though afaik international law recognizes that a new regime only has a claim over lands clearly under the ownership of the previous regime), but because you can’t just change the on the ground situation without taking some kind of action. A country can protest in international forums and courts and use soft power and diplomatic tactics, but they’d need some kind of support from powerful players. Some regimes have tried to take back raw deals from previous regimes by force. Germany tried, for example. Heck, Russia is trying to get Ukraine back, as from their (completely delusional) point of view, it was their territory in the previous regime and has been taken away unfairly. It rarely ends well. It’s a big source of many of the world’s issues at a geopolitical level really.
NFL Green Bay Packers Gameday Program 11 3 24 Detroit Lions Poster shirt: Embrace Your Uniqueness
The US liberated the NFL Green Bay Packers Gameday Program 11 3 24 Detroit Lions Poster shirt But I will love this island from Spain and got the base in a treaty with one of the the previous Cuban Government. Castro takes over and isn’t stupid enough to try attacking the base because that’s the definition of Fucking Around and Finding Out. Basically. The US claimed the deep water port that was the base’s biggest draw during the Spanish American War irrc. And have had some sort of presence there since. As far as the government is concerned cashing the one check is proof that the contract is valid. Castro never wanted to find out what would happen if he fucked around and in return the US never wanted to find out what would happen if they flew over his airspace while getting to and from there by plane.
Most likely. The cashing of the NFL Green Bay Packers Gameday Program 11 3 24 Detroit Lions Poster shirt But I will love this check as proof of being technically correct is more likely for the sake of PR than it is for assuaging the government’s conscience. From my understanding and this is just as a civilian that grew up overhearing conversations about it from people who are well versed in the decision making of the US Navy, something truly unexpected would have to occur for the US to ever willingly give it up as a base entirely. It’s a very strategic base due to the fact that it’s a true deep water and how the bay itself serves as protection for ships. I can’t recall which other bases in North America have those features but I don’t think it’s many. Liberated? You mean occupied for 4 years, forced to sign unequal treaties, and then repeatedly intervened in the sovereignty of for a century thereafter?
How I can buy this NFL Green Bay Packers Gameday Program 11 3 24 Detroit Lions Poster shirt
From my understanding, legally, they don’t have to leave. And I’m guessing Cuba doesn’t want to forcibly remove them. You think US respects other countries’ sovereignity? So called rules-based order is a facade, they can pretty much invade and bomb anyone with made-up reasons. The title is poorly worded. Here’s the NFL Green Bay Packers Gameday Program 11 3 24 Detroit Lions Poster shirt But I will love this rundown: Old cuban govt gave them that land on a perpetual lease for xxx dollars a year. Fidel castro took over, cashed the first check once he took power, the US said “ok cool you agree too!” And Fidel was like “no wait! It was cashed over confusion!” And us was like “yeah right, confusion ok lol, we’re your tenants now!” And Fidel is like “I’m smaller than you so….fine.. I would lose if I fought you” and usa is like “yep lol. We stay. And we continue to pay rent. Cash it or not idgaf” Hey, if the Cuban government happen to be perusing the comments section, I’d be willing to take those checks off your hands.
What is the NFL Green Bay Packers Gameday Program 11 3 24 Detroit Lions Poster shirt But I will love this situation here? Obviously Cuba doesn’t want us there. Does the US just refuse to leave blaming the agreed business arraignment? With Al the drama between the two countries it seems like the US just chooses to stay there as a power move over Cuba. USA be like “I am going to sanction them, steal their land, use it for unconstitutional activities, conduct invasion exercises literally inside their borders, spread the CIA throughout the country then have the audacity to call myself the good guy.” No host country that can possibly force the prison to shutdown and also not on US territory so less legal issues with indefinite detention. It wasn’t up to them. The US wrote the treaty and forced the new government to sign it as a condition of ending the US occupation.
I have a 1960s house, no rooms have vents, not even on the NFL Green Bay Packers Gameday Program 11 3 24 Detroit Lions Poster shirt But I will love this windows. Due to this, and the stinky teenagers living in their rooms with the blinds down and doors shut while movie/gaming, I regularly have to remove mould with a bleach wash. This is the room corners and around/above the Windows themselves. It’s not black plague style mould through the walls due to damp (had it checked), it’s purely no ventilation and people breathing. I’m thinking about putting ceiling vents into all the rooms and venting out to the loft as that’s a vented style, but I expect complaints from the wife and kids about chilly drafts if I do. Tell me your mould killer secrets, oh people of CasualUK.I trained mine to open their own windows, I gave them little hygrometers and told them to keep an eye on them and ventilate when it goes up too much. We haven’t had mould since. The other option, depending on your budget, would be dehumidifiers. I got one as our flat was struggling really badly with condensation and mould in the master bedroom – we haven’t had a spot of it since, and we hang clothes to dry in there now too to take advantage of the dehumidifier running. Haven’t noticed a particular rise in energy costs since running it although TBH I haven’t paid that much attention.
Average dehumidifier should cost about £1.20 a day but, they pump out heat aswell whilst running which should offset any running costs through winter. Those window vacs are also good, as you can use your windows as dehumidifiers. Just clean off all the NFL Green Bay Packers Gameday Program 11 3 24 Detroit Lions Poster shirt But I will love this condensation every morning before it can evaporate back into the room. This is absolutely the answer. Never had a mold issue because I make sure there’s adequate air circulation by opening windows. I’m game for this, but then the wife is gonna say about the arctic blasts and give me grief. I’m all for it, but the heating will have to go off too. This could end in divorce. You don’t actually need to open the windows for too long either. Even 5-10 minutes, twice a day, should be enough. The Germans have a word for this: Stoßlüften. My German ex ran cold, she’d have the heating on all day in our terribly insulated Edinburgh flat, and would open all the windows 3 times a day. Swampy balls when I’m behind the stove cooking away one minute, then stiff nips and a peanut in my pants the next. I turn the radiators off and open the windows when I know the heat is already off anyway so even if it does switch back on I’m not heating the room I’m airing out.
You could look into an air-to-air heat exchanger. Pumps fresh air in and stale air out, and recovers/transfers some of the NFL Green Bay Packers Gameday Program 11 3 24 Detroit Lions Poster shirt But I will love this stale air’s heat into the incoming fresh air. Open them for like 5 minutes twice daily and it shouldn’t affect your heat too much (less than turning it off and then on again, I think). I use white vinegar and a lot of elbow grease. I find a dehumidifier really helps stop it growing and coming back in areas I’ve scrubbed away. It won’t get rid of the problem, but I’ve found it beneficial to open the windows in my flat for around five to ten minutes a day, inspired by my lovely mad German flatmate. Helps balance the humidity I find Get a dehumidifier, or put an extractor fan in the wall or window. You can get really quiet ones, some of which have humidistats. Or link one to a timer (a Sonoff or Shelly smart switch maybe) and have it come on all day, and stay off at night, for the bedrooms. Vice versa for living rooms. That’s what I do. Already on the small dehumidifier front. Got a couple from Amazon that definitely pull moisture but it doesn’t stop the walls getting wet due to the kids cooking the rooms. The bigger ones are generally more efficient. Normally they are ones with a proper refrigerant cycle rather than a little peltier cell that doesn’t run very efficiently. I’ve got a Miele. Can dry washing in 2 hours in a small hot room. I think there may be an efficiency/capacity issue at play.
This is an issue exclusively caused by too high humidity caused lack of ventilation. If you fix that, you will never have to scrub mould in the NFL Green Bay Packers Gameday Program 11 3 24 Detroit Lions Poster shirt But I will love this bedrooms again. Give them a choice between opening the window for15 minutes every day, or scrubbing the mold off the walls once a month. You’re thinking of this wrong – you shouldn’t have any mold. You need to open the windows more often or get ventilation installed. Can you put trickle vents on your windows? Depends on the time of year. Generally 2-3 weekly in winter. Our house is a lot older and is pretty draughty, but we still get buildup around the uPVC windows. We tend to have a few windows open most of the time, year round. Our mold on painted area problems stem from cold bridging on the sloped ceilings in the bedrooms; there is virtually no insulation because there is no space for it unfortunately.
I used to use Killrock mould spray. It is absolutely amazing stuff but it will absolutely ruin any fabrics (bleaches it). I switched to using white vinegar diluted with water, and it is almost as effective, without setting off my asthma. It’s safer for pets to be around too. If you have loft space, use a heat exchanger vent system, the NFL Green Bay Packers Gameday Program 11 3 24 Detroit Lions Poster shirt But I will love this ones with about a 75% efficiency cost £400, the ones up to 93% efficient closer to £800, both plus a couple of hundred in extras. They are light and simple to do if you have a hole saw for your ceilings. , not quick though, just all the vent flexi pipes and box are very bulky, the heat exchanger box is like 60 cm by 50 cm by 30 cm, but as each room vented has two 80 mm pipes going to it, plus two 100 mm to outside, you can see the space needs. I have one in and one out per bedroom, one of each in the kitchen both to the shower, one in the bathroom and seperate WC. So 16 x flexi pipes totally maybe 90 meters. Mine run between the joists with the box under the eaves in the dead space. One connection to the mains, one cable running to on/off and fan speed switch.
I think this is what we have – it just sort of blows so the NFL Green Bay Packers Gameday Program 11 3 24 Detroit Lions Poster shirt But I will love this pressure forces damp air. We used to get condensation on bedroom windows most mornings, but since it was installed we’ve had maybe two instances, both on very cold wet mornings. Have a look at Positive Input Ventilation units. I have a Nuaire Drimaster and it’s got rid of all mould issues We open curtains every day, open windows a bit any time it isn’t freezing outside. Mould spray weekly in problem areas. I bought two air purifiers than run in problem rooms to minimise spores and a dehumidifier for the very damp room. Ultimately I’m thinking heat recovery ventilation for the upstairs rooms that have the worst problems might be the way to go here. As you say, you don’t want freezing air blowing in open windows but need to get rid of the wet air from breathing.
Might be worth looking in to MVHR? They do wall mounted ones you can run alone or in pairs I think as well as big multi room ones. I had it in the NFL Green Bay Packers Gameday Program 11 3 24 Detroit Lions Poster shirt But I will love this bathroom, so I cleaned it off with bleach mixed with water ( something like 5% beach ), then I bought some RONSEAL ANTI-MOLD Paint, a couple of coats needed on affected areas, then normal emulsion…it worked for me Tried all the usual remedies and still couldn’t get the mould off. As a last-ditch move I bought some Cillit Bang Mould Remover. Holy moly. Works a dream. It’s super super powerful (the bleach smell will take a while to clear) and it even removed a big patch of 20-year-old mould (don’t ask). Absolutely fantastic stuff. I used HG mould killer for my pantry when I moved into a new house. It’s amazing stuff. The trick is to spray it on, and if it’s a vertical wall, stick it on with cling film. I have yet to find a BAD HG product – their mould spray is amazing, I use it on the shower sealant that sometimes gets a few black spots. Just spray it and put some kitchen roll on it to keep in in place. I have issues with it in one bedroom, in one corner at the top of the wall 2 outside walls). I do it when I feel it’s starting to be noticeable, it depends on the time of year but probably 6 to 8 weeks. As mentioned by others I use neat white vinegar in a spray bottle. Spray it on, leave about 1/2 an hour then scrub off with a rag. It does leave the room smelling like a chippy for a few days but I think that is preferable to using potential harmful chemicals Put the windows on vent (open a crack, newer windows allow you to lock them in place like this) as much as you can during the day.
I never have to clean mould but I’m always opening the NFL Green Bay Packers Gameday Program 11 3 24 Detroit Lions Poster shirt But I will love this windows for ventilation and I keep the kitchen door closed so moisture in there doesn’t spread to the rest of the house. Bit weird, but you can DIY a little dehumidifier. Learned it when living in poorly built high rises in in China. Windows were taped up due to the draft. We’d put a little Tupperware box, filled with kitty litter, in front of the windows. It’s a moisture absorber, as you can imagine… If you really can’t air naturally, it’s an alternative, albeit strange. If you’re creative I’m sure it could be hidden in an ornament/vase to disguise it. Mechanical Ventilation Heat Recovery. Box in the loft sucks air from “wet” rooms (kitchen, bathrooms, toilets), goes through a heat exchanger which warms up fresh air from outside which is piped into “dry” rooms (lounge, bedrooms, etc.) It has dust filters in which remove pollen etc. and a drain for any condensate. No need for vents, open windows or any of that. Just does its thing. They can be combined with a heating coil for more money to warm (or for more money cool) incoming air too. Do your windows have a v lock on them? It locks them closed with a teeny tiny gap that lets air in. If your teenagers struggle to open windows, this might help You shouldn’t have to be removing mould from your house at all. Crack open the windows for an hour or so each day and don’t dry wet laundry in your house. Cillit Bang black mould remover is an absolute godsend, I recommend getting some. I live in a flat where my bedroom window doesn’t open, so it gets moist and therefore mould grows. It gets really bad sometimes and left marks on the walls. I was wondering what I could do but that stuff completely removed it, even the stubborn marks
I had constant mould problems, only thing that’s worked is a (proper, 7.5L/day I think) dehumidifier. The small ones did absolutely nothing. We have frequent issues in our place, we use bleach, open the NFL Green Bay Packers Gameday Program 11 3 24 Detroit Lions Poster shirt But I will love this windows, remove condensation daily but whenever it rains heavily, the water ends up coming up through the floor. We live in quite an old place which used to be stables back in the day. We have a dehumidifier that we use every day and had air vents fitted in the other year, so it is better than it used to be (I lost several of my favourite Vintage clothes due to mould issues when I first moved in). Circulation is key, really need to get to the cause of it to stop it returning. It it a wall with a burst pipe in, is it a bathroom wall, do you have a tumble dryer in the room, a humidifier, does nexdoor share the wall and have something going on the other side of it etc etc. to remove the mould you can just use spray from the shop and dry the area off. Crank a few windows little space heater with a fan. But if you don’t solve the reason behind it your be battling it over and over again. Most common cause is leaving windows shut and having the dryer going. I had a small studio flat once and it was a constant battle as kitchen shared same room as living room and the bedroom was tiny and the centre of the flat had laundry room so if you did anything the whole place would steam up. We had to use a very long pipe from dryer and Chuck it out the window, run fans when it was on. When we cooked all windows had to be open and doors shut.
Have you tried painting the NFL Green Bay Packers Gameday Program 11 3 24 Detroit Lions Poster shirt But I will love this walls in rooms susceptible to this oj something with a built in biocide? Johnstone’s do a range (I use durable Matt and that’s been great) The easiest and cheapest solution here is to instruct the teenagers to open their windows, surely? I understand teenagers can be difficult but the problem wouldn’t exist if they just opened their windows, or if someone just opens the windows when they’re out at school / college / etc. It seems like a bit of a hassle having to install vents and do DIY when it can be solved by such a simple thing. You’re the parent after all! I’ve never had a mould issue in the house, and I’m in NE Scotland so it’s regularly cold and damp outside, and that’s with drying washing in the spare room. My Mum has also never had mould issues in my living memory and she does the same thing. All my windows upstairs are open during the day. The mould grows on the ceiling above my built in wardrobe coz there’s a gap so the doors and runners can both fit and be functional so I do that a lot in winter but never have to do it in summer.
I use hd mould solution on a squeegee with a sponge on the NFL Green Bay Packers Gameday Program 11 3 24 Detroit Lions Poster shirt But I will love this other side. We will need to take that down when we start our extension so when we do il putting proper mould treatment on it Get a dehumidifier……….really reduces moisture in the house. Good for drying clothes during winter. Fresh air too I put moisture absorbers in some rooms and a dehumidifier downstairs. I leave the windows open ajar and locked sometimes. I need to do my teens window with bleach a couple of times over winter. Do you own your house? If so get a Positive Impact Ventilation (PIV) unit. Mine was about £200 with a heating function and since it’s been fitted there hasn’t been any mould anywhere. It’s so nice waking up to fresh air in the bedroom.
I never do a mould clean. I open my windows and have a dehumidifier. You need more dry air in the NFL Green Bay Packers Gameday Program 11 3 24 Detroit Lions Poster shirt But I will love this property, you can either do that with open windows, or a dehumidifier. I can tell you what makes NYC unique. I want to end it by also saying why I still think London is better but I likely won’t have time as I’m meeting friends in 20 minutes for brunch so please restrain your pitchforks till I get a chance to update this later today. Anyway the big difference is that in London, zone 1 is soo expensive few ordinary mortals can afford to live there. Instead the pattern for a typical Londoner that’s been in the city for more than a year or two is Work in Zone 1, Play in zone 2, live in zone 3+ With NYC, the equivalent of zone 1 is Manhattan below 110th st. (really tempted to say below 59th st but a whole swathe of New Yorkers would be mortally offended 🙂
It’s very normal for your average professional to live in Manhattan, whether it be through apartment sharing or living by themselves. As a result there’s more foot traffic at all hours of the NFL Green Bay Packers Gameday Program 11 3 24 Detroit Lions Poster shirt But I will love this day for all types of businesses to succeed, and as a result you live, work, and play in the equivalent of zone 1. London is much more a long term place to live than NYC. Part of the problem with a lot more people being crammed into the centre is that buying property is super expensive.. particularly service charge. I was looking to buy in NYC and the building service charge cost the same as if I had chosen to rent out the place! So then you think, ok sure let’s just move out to Brooklyn or Queens – the equivalent to moving out to zones 2-5 in London. Well guess what, zones 2-5 in London is def prettier than most of Brooklyn and queens with the except of a few places like dumbo.
