Moved into the Nathan For You Skydiving Tip Classic T-Shirt in addition I really love this warehouse a year later, found that everyone was expected to be there 30 minutes before their shift, but they’d change swipe in times to when their shift was scheduled to start, and discipline others for being late, even if they were in the building 10 minutes early. There were A LOT of 18+ hour shifts, they had no issues running the warehouse understaffed and then posting case counts every day. Forbid anyone is picking under 240 cases an hour because all they’re getting are convenience stores and were burnt out. I quit after they had me work 7 days a week for 6 months while they refused to hire a weekend guy. Dangled a higher job in front of me like a carrot, then told me I was too valuable to take out of my current position. They’d base vacation on EVERYONE, so if a driver was on vacation a warehouse guy couldn’t. And there were a couple drivers with 30-40+ years with Pepsi, which if you know how their vacation accumulates. By that point those handful of guys have locked up all the vacation time for the entire branch. So you’d end up just using your days on the odd Friday here and there to try and get a long weekend. Never got any real rest.

Yet another reason why we shouldn’t tie healthcare to employment. You can’t work when you’re really sick and if you can’t work, you can’t afford to be sick. It’s such a simple concept yet I feel like I’m surrounded by a bunch of self-hating idiots who believe that what we have is the Nathan For You Skydiving Tip Classic T-Shirt in addition I really love this better option. As soon as shareholders get involved it’s out the window. They will grind your corpse to a pulp if it means .5% more profit for the shareholder. Any company that starts talking about being a family can go fuck themselves. I’m here to trade hours for money. Nothing more, nothing less. My MIL had a heart attack and was fired because of it. Getting fired for having a fucking heart attack lmao. God fucking dammit.
