The fucked thing is that if they treat their employees well they’d likely have lifelong loyalty. Pay for someone’s chemo and their bills while they’re too sick to work and even if they die their family will be loyal. Not going for pay rises elsewhere. Putting up with terrible management. Sacrificing health, wealth and time with loved ones. Excusing virtually anything the NASCAR Home Tracks Logo shirt but in fact I love this company did because “Family”. Then the internet came around and made it way, way easier to see what else is out there. To see what others earned. To learn about their lives. And so many discovered that this “Family” was a one-sided affair. The tragic thing is that so many companies still have this mentality. You’ll suffer for us because we’re family. And they have nothing else to offer.

NASCAR Home Tracks Logo shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Now you know what life is like as an Asian American living in the NASCAR Home Tracks Logo shirt but in fact I love this states lol. The moment you go against the grain and don’t act like the meek quiet yes men that everyone expects you to be, you are suddenly public enemy number one. We’re supposed to be the side characters forever Not even. You’re only family until you start costing them money. Even if you’ve made them 100 times what you’re costing them. Last time I worked for a company that called us “family”, they fired me after they said they were struggling & asked us all to take a pay cut & I refused. 2 years later, they sold the company to a larger company for millions of dollars & didn’t tell any of the “family” they were selling. They just didn’t open one day. Some of their employees had been working there 40 years.
