And we are the worst treated customers in the world. It’s truly shameful that we allow ourselves to trample on one another. Don’t go for all these fancy headphones. Google crinacle, watch his headphones ranking video on YT, go buy the koss KSC75’s. They come with lifetime warranty. I’ve bought 4-5 of these from drop.com & koss.com. My guess is the ventilation inside the earpads is nil. There are spongy cushions inside the headphones just beneath the earpads and as the foam is porous it is natural for it to retain moisture (same as how towels and other types of sponges work) and the worst thing – that moisture kept accumulating for three months and finally “maybe” was the cause that they died. This is just a wild guess and as close as I can conclude. The thing is I was always 200% sure not to let any liquid near my electronic devices which I used mostly during my job (laptops – headphones – keyboard – mouse – mobile phone – hard drive – an extension and chargers) so there’s no way that there was an external water ingress.

They’ll earn more there. stop lying. I have both XM3 which I use for my gym and XM4 for work. I dropped my XM3 from table height on the last month of my warranty and it stopped working. I went to the service center and they fixed it without asking any questions since it eas still under warranty. It just doesn’t absorb moisture lmao. You should contact Sony India, tell them about your recent bad experience, show them warranty/guarantee card with the bill of the purchase, and they’ll fix this. Try this because its easier way to get your product fixed, else file a consumer complaint. That’s why I got Sennheiser momentum 4 and got a 2 year warranty. They give you new prodcut in warranty period.
