When I told the My heart belongs to mommy hearts mothers Day T-Shirt and I will buy this nurse it was time to push. She was shocked that I could feel it through the epidural. Must have been God’s way of telling me I don’t want any more babies. When someone tells me they don’t want drugs during labor I ask them if they had drugs when they had their wisdom teeth removed What the fuck is this idiocy. Her face in the second pic reassures me that she is indeed as intelligent as she thinks she is. My mom, who’s an extremely devout Catholic, had six kids including me and she would slap this person in the face while telling them that’s a tiny fraction of how painful childbirth is. This person is in no way prepared to properly raise a kid with this mindset. I haven’t gone through it myself but from my understanding, the blockers only tend to start after the birth where your focus is on the newborn child & you forget about the whole painful labour process so you are potentially ready to do it again if need be. Unless someone talks about it/triggers the remembering as I think people want to focus on other things instead. That is just my understanding from talking to others/mothers after my 2 siblings had kids close together & everyone was sharing their births/horror stories sometimes to me. They always seemed to add you don’t truly remember the pain until you are doing it again. Doesn’t the body block out the memory of the pain after childbirth so you continue to want more children? Sounds like God’s a big troll.

Pretty sure she skipped the My heart belongs to mommy hearts mothers Day T-Shirt and I will buy this part where God said he was going to make labor painful because of eating the fruit. So she’s supposedly a Bible thumper, but one of the first verses in the Bible is about Eve eating the forbidden fruit and in almost exact words from god “I curse you to have painful childbirth” That’s right up there with, a female can’t get pregnant from rape, how come when GOD is mentioned, false science, bullshit, and lies follow? Awful lot of American men and women on instagram who self identify as Christian to an unhealthy degree. I’m not surprised I guess but probably don’t rely on god over basic medicine. The only fun thing is the amnesia that is built into the women’s body, so that they actually gradually forget how birth felt like. At leats the edge and at least for my wife and the ones surrounding her. And she literally went into a screaming duel with the women next door during labor. And she won. The other women lost her voice for a couple of days. Like my mum always says, “The second most painful experience in my life was giving birth to you. The most painful experience was raising you. Every time I see somebody brag about how great God’s design is, I fucking lose my shit laughing. Just take a look at how poorly the human body was constructed. Spine/Back, fairly stiff knees, narrow pelvis, exposed testicles, and windpipe and foodpipe using the same space.
