i’d like to get back into doing my make-up a little. i’m currently extremely pale in a way that is different from my usual healthy pale skin due to some health issues and i‘m not loving it. if you’re familar with anemia, you probably know what it looks like. it’s like a waxy pale with slightly yellow undertones. i don’t feel great as it is and seeing myself look visibly unwell doesn’t do anything to brighten my mood. ppl also keep asking if i’m sick and it makes me feel worse. i used to wear make-up more, although not all the Mustard Meme Shirt Apart from…,I will love this time or a lot of it. i very occasionally wear eyeliner and used to enjoy wearing bright lipstick although i don’t feel up for the latter atm. i think it’d be fun to try again and i think it’d make me feel better to see that i can still look pretty. the one thing i don’t think i can do is wear actual foundation which i realise is probably the thing i’d normally use to change my complexion but i can’t stand having something on my skin like that.

These two will add colour/warmth to your face. well, you have to figure out your skin/undertone first….you can google how to do that because there aren’t any generic blushes/bronzers that look good on everyone and it’s best to get products that suit your skin/undertone. I think there are some that are said to match pretty much everyone like Milani Luminoso blush and Tarte Amazonian clay blush in ‘paaarty’, but of course it’s best to swatch the shades so you’re sure!
I’d say all you probably need is a colour-correcting primer or a lightweight colour corrector to neutralise the Mustard Meme Shirt Apart from…,I will love this yellow undertones and then you can just approach it like any regular make-up application. Or, a medium to full coverage foundation and then again, approach like any other make-up product. I use this (albeit a different shade) LA Girl and its cost effective and pretty good product too, worth checking out if you want a cheap option to test. Elf also makes a purple color correcting primer that is $8 USD. There are several high end options (like Make Up Forever Yellowness Neutralizer Primer) but I would start on the low-end just to see if you like the effect it gives you.

I think you could try defining your eyes with a soft pencil, in brown maybe so it looks quite natural – what colour are your eyes? I would also recommend a light brow gel as even when I put no makeup on my eyes (recently had a eye infection so couldn’t), having my brows lightly defined gives some character back to my face. You could wear a dash of mascara to open up your eyes more too. A light pink powder blush would also help you I think, you could try liquid but some can be hard to blend, whereas with powder blush and a fluffy brush you can control the amount of colour a bit more. For lips, if you don’t feel like a bright lipstick you could try a tinted balm or a lip oil. I personally really like the elf lip oil in Rose Envy to give some healthy pinkness back to my lips when I’m tired.
