Taking out a life insurance policy on me without telling me and seeing a Google search history of “how to cut car breaks.” Unless you’re a shameful person that’s ashamed of everything. Like, if you don’t bat an eye over lying about why you were late for work, what else could you be lying about that I don’t know? Idk, I was madly in love once and I feel it would have wen’t a lot smoother if not for the lie and me figuring out all of it. I shouldn’t have to be a detective to be in a relationship. That kind of absurd work makes it easier to deal with a heart break. But due to that, I can see it a mile away. Now I just have to have the intuition that it has happened, not the proof. Oh, but they come clean afterward like that will save it. Ha. No I’m kinda with you on this, not quite but kinda. I’m much more open than my partner about sharing. I have rules though, like it’s OK to share if it’s non-emotional and I’m there too. I.e. random stranger or escort 3sum. Like sticking his dick in someone whilst I’m there and have all the info, is fine. BUT, meet up with someone for coffee or be texting someone flirty/regularly AND HIDE IT/LIE ABOUT IT, nope. Sex is sex, just a physical act between consenting adults but lies and deceit are hurtful and emotional cheating is deeper and much more painful.

Completely agree with this! Everyone has different boundaries in their relationship, and not everyone believes sex should be monogamous. But there are still boundaries that shouldn’t be discussed, agreed upon? and not crossed. Plus, I’ve always rather have brutal honesty over a bold faced lie any day. Because if you’ll lie to me what else are you willing to do to me? I am normally all for maintaining friendships of both sexes, but when someone clearly intends to trample over boundaries… Yeah they need to be blocked. If your partner doesn’t block someone like that, it’s because they’re keeping their options open. I agree with this. It’s poor boundaries & if they’re seeking that kind of attention then it’s only a matter of time before their boundaries erode further.
