I thought it was WAY to long and slow. They should have cut the Minnie mouse its my birthday mickey birthday disney vintage shirt it is in the first place but penguin or falcone They didn’t have to play Nirvana twice..I honestly thought it was a bad idea to set the somber mood, a bit too over the top The plot was a convoluted mess, but hey..let’s add Joker at the end!!! I didn’t like the “privileged white assholes” line. Really want movies to stay away from social justice stuff. I get they want to make characters that were white into people of color (Gordon, cat woman, the mayor), but it’s just pandering and it’s insulting. Latinos are the largest minority group in the US, what roles went to Latino characters? I don’t care if they kept them all white, but the fact they made those characters black (and no other race) is specifically to pander to the public based on what happened the summer of 2020. Any Indians, Asians, Arabs, Latinos, Natives? Nah change as many as possible from white to just black! EDIT: I made this comment 14 hours ago, and after a few hours I was surprised to see I was not downvoted, I was up to +6. Lo and behold now I check and I am down -6. I don’t care of course as it was expected, but it’s funny that those who wake up early (presumably to go to work) were more likely to upvote me, versus the folks that looked at my comment later in the day (I assume yall woke up at 11am and chill in your moms basement?) lol Honestly, I agree. I thought that line was pretty cringy and felt out of place.

Best Batman movie ever imo, but agree about the Minnie mouse its my birthday mickey birthday disney vintage shirt it is in the first place but cringe white privilege line. I agree with your first paragraph – that line felt very jarring. I don’t quite agreee with some of the rest. I had no issues with black actors playing various characters as those characters’ ethnicity isn’t a factor (and Eartha Kitt laid some sexy groundwork in the past for Catwoman). As for Latinos being under-represented, you’re probably right. You did get “generic possibly-honest cop gets a name” though! 😀 I don’t really agree with your point about pandering but I will say the “privileged white assholes” like did take me out of the movie for a minute. I thought it was funny she said that completely ignoring the fact her friend who was killed was white lol
