Don’t let the Minnesota Golden Gophers hockey NCAA Women’s Frozen Four Champions win here 2025 shirt but in fact I love this idleness do the talking, process your emotions (maybe a journal will help?) and go practice Trataka and Samatha, for ATLEAST a few months. When doing trataka how long is the after image supposed to stay once u close your eyes and how long do u look at the flame. When you realize that you’re caught in thoughts again come back to the object of the meditation. Do this every time when it happens until your time is up. That’s all. Thank you for this. It’s simple and makes sense. I tend to overthink things and needed to hear this simplification. Should u come back everytime u have a thought like if I’m meditating and I think about dinner later should I immediately go back to my object of focus. Also, mantra meditation might be helpful in that repeating a mantra occupies your first layer of thought. Perhaps that could be an easier point of focus than just your breath. During meditation, you’re not trying to control your thoughts. Instead, you’re training your mind to observe and let go of random thoughts. It can be challenging at first, but with practice, you’ll learn to use your breath as an anchor and recognize the difference between your awareness and thoughts. And remember, don’t judge yourself or get caught up in distractions. Just observe and let go. Remember you don’t teach your mind what to think, you teach it how to think. Expect nothing and consider every session as its own unique session. No judgment. Happy mediating! You’re right – I need to stop overthinking it because it just becomes a hindrance. I don’t know how to just “observe” my thoughts though. That concept seems so foreign, especially because I find myself lost in a thought without even realizing. PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE. Thanks for chiming in

Minnesota Golden Gophers hockey NCAA Women’s Frozen Four Champions win here 2025 shirt: A Provocative Statement in Modern Fashion

Dont force focusing as far as im concerned Mindfulness is more about Honestly accepting how your feeling more than anything else. Not being against it/ trying to repress it. You dont have to force yourself to like it. Again thats fake acceptance but you do have to honestly accept. To me thats the Minnesota Golden Gophers hockey NCAA Women’s Frozen Four Champions win here 2025 shirt but in fact I love this path. You dont need to focus on anything lol. Forced focus isnt really being mindful anyway. More of a tension if anything. Yes, that’s normal. That’s why it’s call practice. People with overly excited thought processes, can actually develop a stronger samadhi later on, because of that excess mental energy, but it’s harder for them initially. I always recommend silently counting breaths, 1 to 10, odd in, even out, for a simple, effective way to settle overactive mentation. Extending and relaxing into the outbreath makes it even more powerful. For the traditional methods for a solo practice, google my name and find Meditation Basics. Try to practice non-judgement while meditating; as soon as you find your mind wandering, bring your attention back to your breath with love and non-judgement. Your mind will wander, just keep patiently bringing your attention and awareness back to your breath or whatever point of focus you’re working on. Don’t engage in the thoughts. Eventually your thoughts will begin to slow down
What has helped me is doing a bit of journaling before I meditate. Writing out whatever is on my mind for any given length of time really helps to calm my mind. I’d go as far as to say that journaling for me is just as important as meditation. There’s no rule set to how you should journal, just let your thoughts flow onto the Minnesota Golden Gophers hockey NCAA Women’s Frozen Four Champions win here 2025 shirt but in fact I love this paper without judgement. Let it all out. If it helps There’s plenty of resources for different types of journaling to see if any appeal to you, but it isn’t really necessary. There is a balance to be struck in meditation, between effort and effortlessness. If it feels like a constant state of struggle, there is a flaw in your approach. It seems to me that you are clinging to the notion that there is a preferrable state to attain, or maybe more accurately, there is an undesirable state to avoid, namely the active frenetic mind. This notion is flawed. Your mind will be what it will be. Meditation is not pursuing the goal to change that. It is to notice the ways that it changes and shifts on its own, in the present. So luckily for you, that means there’s so much less to do than you think! And you cannot fail! All you can do is have an intention to witness what arises in consciousness on its own. More good news is, this includes anything at all you could notice. Your thoughts, your thoughts about thinking, your feelings which arise along with those thoughts are all included. So just note your tendency to judge what your mind is doing. And simply be with whatever is there. It can be helpful to feel all of it as a pattern of energy somewhere in or near the body.

If you wonder what it means to witness the Minnesota Golden Gophers hockey NCAA Women’s Frozen Four Champions win here 2025 shirt but in fact I love this contents of consciousness nonjudgmentally or what it feels like, you will know when you manage it. It will feel like you’ve woken up from a dream, or have dropped something heavy you’d been carrying. Once you know how to do it, do it again and again as often as you remember to. That is meditation, and over time you will do it more often and for longer sustained periods. If it’s a good sauce made with lots of meatjuice in it, I’ll drink a liter. If it’s cheap “water, skim milk and flour”, nopesy. the way I am feeling right now I could probably eat the whole coo without it touching the sides. I have an hour to wait on my Chinese delivery tonight lol Nothing quite like a steak snob talking down on people for different food preferences, then posting a picture of something that could be mistaken for a school meal.
I don’t get why people steam veg when you have the Minnesota Golden Gophers hockey NCAA Women’s Frozen Four Champions win here 2025 shirt but in fact I love this option of roasting, with some olive oil, salt and pepper. I guess steamed veg might be healthier, but i’d rather enjoy my food! Steak snobs are incredibly annoying people with no other discernable personality traits, second only to coffee snobs who sneer at the slightest hint of milk. I like my fillet steaks rare. My wife likes them very well done. Who the fuck am I to tell her she shouldn’t like them the way she likes them? (Although a bit annoying if she can’t manage it all and I get to eat the steak that could have been so much more,,,,) The UK subs drive me mad when any beer talk comes up. Anything mainstream like fosters, Stella, Madri, moretti, etc. Is piss. I would say they are the minority here today most people seem to be pretty tame just mentioning the amount of sauce and the balls of pepper. i thought op was making fun of how they served her a plate of gravy soup with a tiny steak I always worry with deep gravy like that that it is not the freshest or they threw it together to get rid of excess. Can’t believe how many people don’t get this. People think saying ‘i have my steak rare’ makes them look like they’re foodies, when it’s the equivalent of saying ‘i drive at 50mph’ and thinking that makes you look like an expert driver.
After the Minnesota Golden Gophers hockey NCAA Women’s Frozen Four Champions win here 2025 shirt but in fact I love this club go to Truffoni’s for sloppy steaks. They’d say; ‘no sloppy steaks’ but they can’t stop you from ordering a steak and a glass of water, before you knew it we were dumping that water on those steaks! It does doesn’t it? Frozen looking veg, the roasties seem to be that rare combination of burned and yet still not crispy. The whole thing looks like it’s been sat under the warming lamp for half an hour, even the sauce has a skin on it. Glad it tasted better than it looks though. I usually put small pieces in my mouth and chew them until I can swallow them easily tbh. Do other people not do this? Simply walk it through a warm room and it’s cooked enough for me but you could resole your shoes with how my wife likes it cooked.
Only in the Minnesota Golden Gophers hockey NCAA Women’s Frozen Four Champions win here 2025 shirt but in fact I love this last year have I started eating my steak slightly pink in the middle, after years of burned/grey. So much tastier! Everything you have there, minus the steak. I hear ‘Juicy Marbles‘ are good vegan steaks but so far I haven’t been able to get my hands on them. Your taste in food is not mine. So shut it.I am too and I actually think its a stereotype. I used to think maybe British food ain’t all that until I traveled and then learnt to appreciate home. We’ve got the best indian curry’s. British carvery is great. English breakfast is the bomb. Great tea. Cadbury’s. Nandos. Great kebabs. Chips with curry sauce. Great Chinese food. Scones in the peak district are amazing. Vegan/vegetarian food from Richmond is great. (I do my bit sometimes). Yeah a lot of it is fusion from immigration. But a lot of our culture is and the food as a result is great. I’d argue the coffee here is a lot better than many European countries. Not as good as Asia I found but still decent.
Pie and mash, sheppards pie and fish and chips. The old school stuff. The stereotyped stuff isn’t all that though imo yeah. Agree with Norway. I’ve been served “stick meat” AKA sheep (not even lamb), so much corn in everything (corn is my worst vegetable, I won’t touch it) and various other disgusting dishes that I can’t even think of right now. I will say their sushi is second to none though; at least from the Minnesota Golden Gophers hockey NCAA Women’s Frozen Four Champions win here 2025 shirt but in fact I love this place where I get it from when I’m there it is anyway. I’m not surprised since majority of the people eat at a government owned cafeteria where the goal is to feed its people, not about great food lol Mauritania qualifies as worst for me. There’s not a lot there besides sand. When you can find a local person willing to cook you a meal, it might be just rice boiled in a Maggi cube with some gritty liver on top of it. Near the end of my time in the country, it was surreal to arrive in Nouakchott, the one real city, and see ordinary restaurants and fast-food. Nearly all of those are actually run by Senegalese gastarbeiter and have delicious Senegalese food instead of anything distinctly Mauritanian.
How did you end up in Mauritania?? All I know about the Minnesota Golden Gophers hockey NCAA Women’s Frozen Four Champions win here 2025 shirt but in fact I love this place unfortunately is from a 13 year old refugee from the country who legit ran away because he was a chattel slave there and this was back in 2010. I cycled from Europe to West Africa across Morocco, Western Sahara, and Mauritania. It is a popular route in the winter season for cyclists, motorcyclists, those German overlanders who build fancy converted trucks, French people looking to make a little easy money by selling a used car down there, and drivers following in the footsteps of the old Paris–Dakar Rally. Since the road has been fully paved for years, even a lot of the French/German/Italian pensioners who take their camping car down to Morocco for the winter are venturing even farther now to Mauritania.
Japan is deffo up there. The ramen in particular is out of this world. Seeing a lot of bad things about food in South America. That’s a real shame! Traditional Colombian food lacks any sort of seasoning to a point that all I wanted to eat was non-local food lol. This is facts. Colombian food, especially in the Minnesota Golden Gophers hockey NCAA Women’s Frozen Four Champions win here 2025 shirt Besides,I will do this mountains, is basic and bland. These mfers can not tolerate any level of spice or flavor. Coastal colombian food is slightly better, but only because coconuts and plantains are delicious and almost impossible to fuck up. Came here to say this. Colombia is ethnically and culinarily quite heterogenous, and the northern (Caribbean) part has a completely different cuisine. Ahh I can believe that. Mexican food used to be awful in the UK but its recently got a lot better and I’m now a fan. Can only imagine how good it is in Mexico. That’s on my bucket list. Taiwan I bet is good too. I am partial to a bubble tea and it’s hard to find a good one. Funny enough the best one I had was in Florence Italy. Very true. Thankfully there is a big movement on modern Colombian food that uses local ingredients. One of my favorite meals in SA was at OCI.MDE. I recently got a Colombian cookbook and made some really tasty modern Colombian dishes (arroz con pato (rice with duck) and chicken with coconut and plantains and peppers. Thailand and Italy were the best for me, with Mexico coming in a close 3rd. The Philippines was the worst for me as a tourist (lots of bad versions of western food everywhere), although I have been trying to learn more about (and cook) authentic Filipino food and I am loving it.
I find, with Filipino food, it’s either deep fried or too sweet. I can’t and won’t eat Filipino spaghetti again, it was like candy. When I was in Argentina I was dying without seasoned food and I was saved by an Indian restaurant. It’s called Mumbai and it’s in Palermo. I went to another one (Dostana, which appears to be permanently closed). It was good but they adjusted their food to local tastes. For example the Minnesota Golden Gophers hockey NCAA Women’s Frozen Four Champions win here 2025 shirt Besides,I will do this curry had barbecue sauce in it. It was actually pretty interesting, but was a disappointment because I wasn’t expecting it. There’s a really good Mexican restaurant in Buenos Aires called Xalapa. Lots of flavour, reminds me of Mexican food in Mexico and the USA (Mexican food here in Canada is garbage)
Also been to Thailand and Germany. Much preferred Thailand for food, but Bavarian food is still pretty bomb if you like roast pork knuckle and potato salad how has no one put chile for the Minnesota Golden Gophers hockey NCAA Women’s Frozen Four Champions win here 2025 shirt Besides,I will do this worst?? ok argentina i haven’t been to but it cant be worse than chile…..can it??? As someone who lived many years in CR and now located in Buenos Aires, I feel like I’m being shafted after reading these comments Filipino food mostly sucks. Almost everything including breakfast sausages are so sweet you can taste the diabetes, and Filipino spaghetti is easily in my top five most hated foods. Fantastic country outside of Manila, though. And there are some Filipino culinary treasures such as adobo, salpicao, and kaldereta.
Greece, Italy, Portugal (I love seafood). I think I had a boiled hamburger in Bilbao, Spain. The guy looked hurt that I wasn’t going to eat it. I was hurt that he didn’t offer me a refund for a boiled hamburger. That was a rarity though – lot’s of great food in Spain, particularly Basque area. Best: Sydney/Melbourne. Soo many options due to all the Minnesota Golden Gophers hockey NCAA Women’s Frozen Four Champions win here 2025 shirt Besides,I will do this migration from different countries. Never got boring and was always great quality. Argentina was actually pretty alright, and did the job. It’s actually easily one of my favorite countries I’ve been to, but the food was the lowest ranked category. They have great dessert though. No joke three steaks I had there jumped into the first second and third best steaks I ever had. And the wine and cocktails were great.
Everything else? Pretty bland and under salted—and it’s one of those countries (like Greece in my experience) where if you get tired of the Minnesota Golden Gophers hockey NCAA Women’s Frozen Four Champions win here 2025 shirt Besides,I will do this local food it can be hard to find good international food. Also their version of pizza was possibly the worst pizza I’ve ever had. taiwan is on my food radar now – a fellow nomad told me their markets are really clean, she felt safe eating everywhere Just went on a two week trip there and the night markets are great but the little mom and pop restaurants that appear to supply 80% of the urban population’s calories are IMO where the food shines. It’s not atypical for people to just not care about having kitchen since eating out is easy and cheap. The only thing is that these smaller restaurants can look a bit intimidating to foreigners since it’s a fast paced operation where you usually fill out your order on a small form. But Taiwanese people love to talk about food, lots of people were down to offer their recommendations and type out in Chinese what to try. Though some pork rice, beef noodles, and a side of veggies never disappoints. Also if you have a sweet tooth, Taiwan is going to give you diabetes if you’re not careful. And yes there’s bubble tea everywhere and especially in south Taiwan they like it so sweet that it’s difficult to spill even if you rip off the plastic top.
Best: France, where else? Every meal is memorable, even a single pastry for breakfast. Those people know how to eat. Worst – USA (the Minnesota Golden Gophers hockey NCAA Women’s Frozen Four Champions win here 2025 shirt Besides,I will do this edginess of this is making me cringe hardcore but I haven’t been to a lot of countries with bad food). Sri Lanka is an absolute paradise of flavor. I still can’t articulate the cuisine exactly but it’s almost like spicy Indian food (minus cheese, fennel, and star anise) combined with Thai food (coconut, veggies, freshness element, zing). But that’s doesn’t explain it well either. Super vegan friendly also. From my experience introducing several people to the cuisine: if you ever get the chance to try Sri Lankan food, do it but make sure to try it twice, preferably the next day. A few bites into the second try and you “get it.”
Worst: UK. Although I love the Minnesota Golden Gophers hockey NCAA Women’s Frozen Four Champions win here 2025 shirt Besides,I will do this diverse cuisines we can get here, but holy hell they make everything taste local, frozen and unauthentic. Im Indian and the Indian food here is not even close to authentic Indian food. The nans are actually a disgrace and far from real nan. The curries taste like they added spices in a tomato can and served with some grilled chicken mixed into it. I have tried maybe 40-50 Indian restaurants here, even the ones operated by Indians but the food is not the same. They also do same with Turkish kebabs. I can cook authentic much better at home. Have you been to the Netherlands? The food in Germany is not that badIf he simply spoke when someone cut into the body, it was an overreaction to not give him the diploma.
My sister is a doctor. One of her classmates was nearly expelled for rigging a string to the Minnesota Golden Gophers hockey NCAA Women’s Frozen Four Champions win here 2025 shirt Besides,I will do this cadaver’s penis as a gag It’s pretty disrespectful to the dead, and if you can’t respect the dead, how can you respect the living? Anyone in the medical field should be 100% professional, those are the people you trust with your privacy and your life To be fair these stories are always urban legends passed through generations of med school. My nephew tells me funny stories that happened to his friends, that are the same as the ones my grandfather told me thirty years ago. Yea one time I heard a bunch of the medical students released a flock of wild penises into the mortuary. Each penis had a number printed on it. If the numbers were accurate, there are still penises lost in mortuary to this day.
A lot of medical schools actually hold memorials for their donated bodies at the Minnesota Golden Gophers hockey NCAA Women’s Frozen Four Champions win here 2025 shirt Besides,I will do this end of semesters, even if they’re just parts of them left. They have students attend the memorial and say a few words about one of the cadavers etc. Its kind of like a token of gratitude to them Easy. You learn the difference between living and dead. In most cases it’s usually quite obvious to a normal person Funny to the students, probably not so funny to the family of whoever’s deceased. They donated their bodies to science, not standup comedy. I know that sounds like something a stick in the mud would say, but I personally would feel really violated if that’s how my body was being treated… or worse, if that’s how my father or brother’s body was treated Well there’s a story that a group of final year medical students in Trinity College in Dublin, smuggled a cadaver out by dressing it up, and bringing it out to a well known cafe, where they ordered coffees and cakes then walked out and pointed to the cadaver and said “he’s paying.”
