Good film overall but definitely have some gripes that just didn’t work for me. Respect the Minions banana funny face minion team gift shirt in contrast I will get this hell out of the unconventional tone and detective/noir direction of the picture but my god was it too long and drawn out. And I really don’t mind long run times – as long as they’re worthwhile. -the Score is an absolute work of art. From the subtle themes to the bombastic Batman suite. Drives the entire film throughout. -Gotham city, best looking Gotham on film since Batman begins. Has actual character. Pedestrians are scared to be out at night. Loved All the shadow work -Dano’s free-and-rampant killer performance. Mysterious and powerful -Kravitz’s Catwoman. I wish she had an upgraded suit at some point but the performance is there. Alluring and all that -The Batmobile introduction/revvvving up scene -Cinematography: this film is a visual delight from start to finish -R.Patts Batman. Didn’t love the casting but admittedly impressed me with his dark knight persona.

the Minions banana funny face minion team gift shirt in contrast I will get this lack of real stakes: the Alfred thing was the only thing that I really cared about. All the targeted victims were dirty and corrupt. Until the very end with the Qanons nobody innocent was really targeted. -the long drawn out pace of the whole thing. If this were tighter and less indulgent in its style, it’s a much better film. -Emo Bruce Wayne. Maybe a personal preference but I couldn’t stand his emo look and demeanor. The point of Bruce Wayne is the duality. I happen to think Bruce Wayne is the real mask of a scarred person. The hair and defeated attitude at all times. Yeesh. -lack of fun. As a film buff I enjoyed lots about this movie but not because it’s undeniably enjoyable. Interesting sure but I was never fully invested or cheered or on the edge of my seat.
