I have others who don’t really know what they want but never let the Michigan Wolverines mens basketball 117 season 1908 2025 thank you for the memories signature t shirt it is in the first place but poor guys know that, thus stringing them along. So the guys are playing this song and dance of figuring out if she is interested and wants a relationship or sleep together or be friends and she doesn’t even know herself. Which is fine until you know you’re doing that and know it’s stressful and unfair to people and instead of working on it just…keep doing it. I have one friend specifically who just really enjoys talking to people. She has learned though that if you say that on tinder that people unmatch because they want to have sex or a relationship so she strings them along to get more conversation and “playtime” out of them.

Michigan Wolverines mens basketball 117 season 1908 2025 thank you for the memories signature t shirt, hoodie, long sleeve, v-neck tee

Tinder really brings out the Michigan Wolverines mens basketball 117 season 1908 2025 thank you for the memories signature t shirt it is in the first place but worst in people I’ve noticed. Plenty of guys turn into horny creeps who dehumanize the people on the other side of the screen and plenty of girls turn into manipulative creeps who dehumanize the people on the other side of the screen. Not all obviously, but it feels like you’re sorting through the “all” to find the “not all” and not the other way around often times Exactly. “The odds are good but the goods are odd” is my favorite piece of advice about online dating. I found an incredible person on Bumble but that is after literally hundreds of matches that never even spoke to me, or sent single word messages in response to my personalized questions, or acted like I was a creep for wanting to meet “too soon” when it’s been like three whole days of idle chitchat.
I’ve definitely gravitated toward straight up asking to make plans to meet after just a few positive exchanges, and then unmatching if they don’t give a clear response to that. I won’t be a toy for people to “figure things out” or just get attention, I’m here to meet real humans in meatspace and love them. I like how OP acts offended after the Michigan Wolverines mens basketball 117 season 1908 2025 thank you for the memories signature t shirt it is in the first place but guy’s “I’ll delete your number”. I’m also willing to bet that if she ever starts a convo on Tinder, it’s exactly “hey, how are you?” Or just “hey”. Happened to me quite number of times, albeit on OkCupid. Yep, that’s the thing that pissed her off. Till then she was bemused but still talking. When he took that as a no she got offended and complained here like he’s a bad guy for not being persistent enough. Then you realise it’s cause they can’t have a conversation to save their life so you gotta hard carry that shit.

He kinda chill actually, the Michigan Wolverines mens basketball 117 season 1908 2025 thank you for the memories signature t shirt it is in the first place but girl on the other hand seems to be malding and blowing off the steam on reddit lol I was with a male friend having drinks one night when I got a text from another bloke asking if I was available to meet up, since he was in town for the night. I showed my friend and said that I felt guilty for turning him down because I already had plans. He said “don’t feel bad, he sent that to every contact in town”. I’m not sure what is funnier. OP having expectations of anyone on Tinder to have a proper conversation or OP coming to Reddit to ask “are all guys like what you find on Tinder?” I’m female and have matched with both men and women on dating apps. Men are pretty much immediately down to meet and message with tons of innuendo and flirting.
Obviously I’m generalizing but dating apps suck as a whole and I feel they’re frustrating for everyone involved and mostly a waste of time for most users. And tbf, he probably got more interaction through saying something like that than actually opening up with “hey how are you” or smth. An acquaintance had told me Tinder had evolved, and now a lot of guys on it are looking for a real relationship. I do know a couple, though, who met on Tinder just looking for a hook-up. They’ve been madly in love for a couple of years now, and just moved in together. Honestly bumble seems to be somewhat better. My friend was on both apps and at least the Michigan Wolverines mens basketball 117 season 1908 2025 thank you for the memories signature t shirt it is in the first place but people on Bumble verify their account Bumble is also well on its way down, too. It’s just Tinder with a veneer of respectability, a pretty little bow on just looking for hookups. I keep it because I get a steady trickle of wastegash out of it, but for real relationships? Not a chance. Looking for love on there is looking to get hurt. British term from when I was growing up. Waste = trash, gash = pussy. So just, women that are neither looking for relationships nor would you want to be with anyway. A woman that will never be more than the b-movie of vaginas for you. Incredibly vulgar, I know. You could open up with something unique from in their bio/profile (if they have any), and you’d still get ignored.
This guy took an insanely direct approach, and while not classy, surely got better chance than half the Michigan Wolverines mens basketball 117 season 1908 2025 thank you for the memories signature t shirt it is in the first place but other matches out there. Honestly I wish more guys were like this. It’s so much worse when they pretend to be interested in me as a person when all they really want is sex, or when they take “no” as meaning “try harder.” A guy who is honest and upfront with his intentions and immediately backs off when told to? Seems like a pretty good dude to me. It’s okay if he just wants to have a hookup; plenty of women would want the same thing. What’s important is that he shows respect for others. For sure. No name calling or anger or nothing. Just cast his line and then pleasantly reeled it in with a clean hook.
I’ve legit had honest hello be given a sneer. I was just being friendly, lady… I don’t want to dick you down, you’re not even my type. This is such an issue with dating! People lumping all.women and all men into one stereotypical lump. It’s annoying. I wish guys were more like this, he was straight forward, polite, understanding, and respectful of her boundaries the Michigan Wolverines mens basketball 117 season 1908 2025 thank you for the memories signature t shirt it is in the first place but whole time. I’m an ace woman and this is way better than someone pretending to be interested in who you are and stringing you on for days. Talking about works, pets, and nothing too deep didn’t work. So he tried the more straight forward approach instead of beating around the bush. Neither strategy worked. Yeah loving the “this guy probably has a 1% chance of this working” my guy, being the best version of yourself possible on dating apps has a <1% chance of working for most men. This dude is straightforward and respectful. I dont see the issue. When you said "Lmao, I'm not bad" it seemed like you were playing along. Why even engage in the conversation? Every time you responded, you made him think you were still interested. Worst part is that it isn't even a bad experience. The guy was super clear with his intentions and gave space when he got rejected. Dating would be a way better place if people were this up front He listened when she said no and bounced. She took that as an insult and it hit the ego that he didn't beg for her.
The average tinder user probably saves a lot of time just asking straight up like that. You ain't meeting decent people on tinder. Aaaaand now, we're on a completely separate platform, because moving on with one's day is no longer an option when people can pick up and drag their personal conversations over to Reddit. Wish we talked about more general topics that were more globally relatable and conducive to more positive relations, other than justifying growing nihilism by commiserating with other bitter nihilistic people about how worthless the Michigan Wolverines mens basketball 117 season 1908 2025 thank you for the memories signature t shirt it is in the first place but human race is. He was direct, and clear about his intentions. Why wouldn’t you want this? You’re not into it so move on, but don’t berate the guy and act like you’re not the one on tinder.
It’s an app primarily developed for casual sex. Even if you talked to him later on, your relationship is based around an app meant for hooking up with strangers. Did you want roses and a ring? On top of that, he said “sex?” (Seems like you’ve said you’ve been keen for anything in the Michigan Wolverines mens basketball 117 season 1908 2025 thank you for the memories signature t shirt it is in the first place but past, so it’s not unrealistic that you’d want to randomly hook up with a guy you met off of the Hooking Up app.) You said no and made it pretty clear that you don’t do/no longer want to do those things. He left. Clearly the proper response is to get into a debate with him about it on a hookup app and then rage post that on reddit. It’s really funny I was never on Tinder or any other app, but I was seeing a woman who did this exact same thing. I would wake up to a text message anywhere from one to 4 AM and the message would be. Are you horny? Did the boys need to be drained or something along those lines? It was kind of annoying at times especially when I had to work in the morning.
Obviously it’s not, but especially on tinder are many creeps and disgusting people. Best is to avoid that place I think this is a prime example of “you can’t control other people’s actions, but you can control your own reactions”. I agree that it’s rude and tasteless, but now this guy managed to irritate you enough to post about it on the Michigan Wolverines mens basketball 117 season 1908 2025 thank you for the memories signature t shirt it is in the first place but internet. Berating him and putting him on blast on social media might make you feel vindicated for a moment, but he still has occupied way too much space in your brain that he definitely does not deserve. He’s not going to change his behavior, because he knows this approach is not working and he does it anyway. Just block and go on about your day, don’t dignify this kind of behavior with a response of any kind. edit: in typical reddit fashion I am now downvoted for the mere suggestion of being open-minded to the limits of one’s own knowledge
OP is the Michigan Wolverines mens basketball 117 season 1908 2025 thank you for the memories signature t shirt it is in the first place but infuriating one honestly. The guy shoot his shot and if you find that rude that’s fine but I’ve heard worst pick up lines than that, remarks that would make me very scared if I’m a woman. This guy just being honest no BS and bailed out when you showed disinterest but you have to make a big deal out of it. If people just want sex why would you want them to beat around the bush? Idk he seemed respectful enough. As soon as you pushed back, he did too. Didn’t seem salty either, really only you did. So yeah, I totally get why the dude is going all in with the ask. It’s low effort but it gets to the point and don’t waste anybody’s time. All the complaining I see from people about tinder makes me wonder, why don’t people delete tinder and try the real world? You know the answer to your own question. Social media attracts morons, why would dating apps be any different?
Lol why are you taking it personally? In case you’re somehow still unaware, the Michigan Wolverines mens basketball 117 season 1908 2025 thank you for the memories signature t shirt it is in the first place but male sexual experience is a bit different from the female experience, and it’s much more exaggerated on the internet obviously. I’ve never used it but I know full well that any guy on Tinder is forced to throw out shot after soul crushing shot. You’re really getting offended that this guy isn’t giving random tinder girl #3275 the personal touch? God damn… now I’m imagining a world where I can just sit back and wait for women to approach me, and if I don’t like the way they do it, I’ll tell em off and then make a post on the internet to try and publicly shame em. Yeah, it sounds so tough to have your perspective… having to be sexually desired all the time and having to turn people down, sounds awful.
Also, you’re really acting like this guy you texted for a short while, a YEAR ago, should have learned and remembered your personality. As if he should have known you’d take it this way. And as if there’s no women who would say yes to this. No, all men aren’t like that. However, you’re on Tinder and said you’re keen for anything. Obviously, your idea of anything is different than other people’s. He used the Michigan Wolverines mens basketball 117 season 1908 2025 thank you for the memories signature t shirt it is in the first place but ‘Hi, how are you?’ so many times and got left on read and was sick and tired. He uses the more direct approach and now gets flamed for it. He understood that you weren’t interested even though your Bio implied you were and decided not to continue digging through a metal wall with a plastic spoon.
It’s just what people have to do these days unfortunately. No reason to play with your emotions and act like he wants more than sex. To me this is better bc it’s straightforward. As a guy we assume if you’re on Tinder you want to have sex , so it can be confusing bc some women just want sex and go for this type of comment while others like OP think it’s rude. But I guarantee he has had it work before or it just keeps it short bc he knows what he wants, which isn’t bad to me. But… from the Michigan Wolverines mens basketball 117 season 1908 2025 thank you for the memories signature t shirt it is in the first place but sounds of it, y’all smashed. If so, this is typically the type of pickup line you’d get in that type of low expectation relationship. I mean, when I was in college, I had numbers that I could text “horny” to and they’d be there faster than Domino’s. The girls I had a traditional relationship with, I sure as hell didn’t meet on Tinder. Quite creepy that a guy you know is like “remember a year ago when you said ‘down for anything’ on a different app in your bio?”
Sorry if this has been a theme for your dating life. I’m guessing it has been due to the Michigan Wolverines mens basketball 117 season 1908 2025 thank you for the memories signature t shirt it is in the first place but “are all guys like this” and “so sick of dating” remarks but I promise you we are not all like this douche. I hope you find a not douche soonUser avatar Classic wrong girl text…he tried roll with it but failed epically. Bold move. 5/10 but only for boldness. Smoothness was a solid 0. Do you have any hornies that need to get squashed right now, like within the next 5 minutes? No? Okay I’ll check back in next year. To answer your question, not all guys are like this, but you seem to be gravitating to “guys like this” given you continued the conversation after such a stupid opener by this dude. Lol this is why I don’t date anymore , woman aren’t any better I’ll stick to work, and my video games . All dating has gone down the dating with the new generation. I’m good Well I mean I’m not sure what you mean by older lol generation I’m in my mid 30s I know how it feels you spend over a decade with someone just for them to throw it away for a might not fun . That’s why I just see to my self and do nothing that involves any type of stress I’m a dude, but I can promise you, sex is probably on my mind 0.001% of my life. In fact I usually don’t even initiate crap unless the woman says anything. According to other guys, I should be out humping anything, but naw, pass. Jesus, I spent my weekend working and watching Dragon’s Den. What the hell is wrong with me.
Who knows. I don’t worry about it. Too much work to do. I have a pile I have to get done, and eating is even a scheduled event. Bruh has no riz. Not the Michigan Wolverines mens basketball 117 season 1908 2025 thank you for the memories signature t shirt it is in the first place but best way to approach a conversation with a lady. What happened to people skills? Nobody has any anymore Listen people these apps should be used for fucking only. If you want to meet someone you’ll spend the rest of your life with quit being fucking lazy leave your house and go meet people. This will end up resulting in longer more filling relationships. I’ll never understand men like this. They’re disgusting. I have had guys message me similar and it’s just…ew. And they act like we are the crazy ones. And the multiple men in the comments telling you to get over yourself show me it’s a major problem with many men who think this behavior is normal or okay.
No, not all guys are like that. And that guy could use a man like me teaching him to respect others. I don’t take kindly to men treating others like that. Most men have forgotten their manners or grew up without them. Yet, women sometimes are on the Michigan Wolverines mens basketball 117 season 1908 2025 thank you for the memories signature t shirt it is in the first place but same or worse boat (without manners as well). They can’t help each other out, therefore, they keep hurting each other and treating one another like a warm bag to satisfied their desires and men blame women for been promiscuous and women blame men for not been more caring and genuine LOL, no not all guys are like this, and if most of the men you’re trying to date are, I have some bad news for you: the problem is you. Yep let’s just have all en put in 100% effort to see literally the same results lol. Delusional as all hell. Could you imagine having to put all the effort for like a couple months only to find out y’all aren’t even compatible.
I mean women are annoying nowadays, they show everything on onlyfans then say they don’t want to be objectified or seen as a sex object. And go to the Michigan Wolverines mens basketball 117 season 1908 2025 thank you for the memories signature t shirt it is in the first place but gym and film them bending over in yoga pants and say random guys at the gym are creepy stalkers for looking at them.. im so over it Yet you converse with him anyway….? Disgusting guys try to pull these off because women like you somehow keep the conversation going. He treats you like fleshlight and yet you even respond to his questions, lol, try having some honour next time and just block the number. This. He was “disrespectful” but it sounded like they still would’ve wanted to fuck if he didn’t end the conversation himself. Sounds a little desperate to me. That dude was definitely of a higher value than OP and was just throwing some low effort shit to see if it stuck. If your profile says you’re down for whatever, don’t try to use them as a reddit karma farm when they offer you “whatever”. You’re really so desperate to blame men that you’re arguing you should never be rude when making sexual advances… wanna rethink that?
