Nah I totally get it. I’m a strait woman, but I am pretty masculine. I usually wear unisex clothes, or just whatever I feel comfortable in. Don’t know if this matters, but your post made me think of something. I used to work at a ranch and home store (Tractor Supply type store). I would offer to haul 50lbs+ bags of feed or whatever to people’s vehicles, especially older folks or parents with young kids, etc. Some people, especially older people, would say “oh don’t worry about it, I’ll get one of the Michigan Wolverines Flag Plant 13-10 Pocket Ohio State Buckeyes NCAA shirt Apart from…,I will love this boys to do it!” That never bothered me. It’s sort of a cultural thing, especially here in the rural southern US. But other men would be very disrespectful like “You can’t carry that all the way to my truck. Call one of the men to do it.” Some men would strait up tell me i couldnt manage the bag, even though part of my job was hauling these bags around daily. That always pissed me off. It’s sort of a cultural thing arround here that men do the heavy lifting for women just because it’s considered respectful that the man should take care of a woman. Some men take that as “women can’t take care of themselves, they need me to do it”, but other men are more “woman are wonderful, and I want to do right by them, so I will carry this heavy bag”. But I totally get what you mean, I’d prefer people just let me carry the bag for them if I offer.
Michigan Wolverines Flag Plant 13-10 Pocket Ohio State Buckeyes NCAA shirt description
I don’t experience a lot of strait up harmful sexism, but I get annoyed by the Michigan Wolverines Flag Plant 13-10 Pocket Ohio State Buckeyes NCAA shirt Apart from…,I will love this same stuff you do it seems. I work in agriculture, which also throws people off sometimes. I get a lot of confusion when I tell people I don’t really want kids because… like…. that’s what woman do right? Why wouldn’t I want children? All women want children! A lot of people assume I’m a lesbian or that I’m depressed and don’t care about my appearance because I wear mostly unisex and sometimes men’s clothes. I don’t care that much what people assume about me, but I just don’t understand why that’s a thing that hangs people up and just really stumps them. They just can’t figure out why I would be a strait woman and not wear overtly feminine clothes all the time.
You know, you may be experiencing gender dysphoria. It’s possible you’re nonbinary or gender fluid. Have you explored this feeling with a therapist? Is there a queer community you can connect with online or locally to you? For me, it’s more than just society and gender roles. I hate that I have a uterus and therefore am expected by society to have a child. If I don’t have one, then I’m judged as selfish, not fulfilling my biological duty as a woman. I can ignore people’s opinions and simply not have a child, but I have to suffer through PMS, periods, and pain every month because of a biological process I will never go through. Doctors care more about my potential to have a baby than my own health and wants. However I don’t really want to go through the Michigan Wolverines Flag Plant 13-10 Pocket Ohio State Buckeyes NCAA shirt Apart from…,I will love this effort of changing my body, so it is what it is, I guess.
Let buy this Michigan Wolverines Flag Plant 13-10 Pocket Ohio State Buckeyes NCAA shirt
As a man I find it unfair that it seems completely normal for women being able to go clothes shopping in the Michigan Wolverines Flag Plant 13-10 Pocket Ohio State Buckeyes NCAA shirt Apart from…,I will love this male section, but I’ve never seen guys lurking in the women section to buy clothes…. I think you idealize what being a man is like today. Women invariably have it far worse and are definitely treated far worse, patriarchy is real for sure. People still treat men like shit though and it doesn’t feel enjoyable or liberating being a man at all. Every day as a man I see multiple comments shitting on men in some way on social media or irl. If you don’t follow traditional toxic masculinity standards, people consistently shit on you for it too. I got unsolicited balding comments and insults from women on OLD constantly before I left. I wouldn’t enjoy being a woman, and I know I have privilege, but I get treated like dogshit still as a man still daily because I’m a man. It’s still not as bad as being a woman, but I hate gender norms and being a man just as much as you hate your ish. They just harm men in different ways and our voice on the subject is completely silenced and chastised because women always have it worse.
Just wanna note, sexism is not a victimless or blameless crime—the Michigan Wolverines Flag Plant 13-10 Pocket Ohio State Buckeyes NCAA shirt Apart from…,I will love this victims are every woman everywhere and the blame falls squarely on on the shoulders of the patriarchy It’s normal and infuriating. Right there with you. ‘The patriarchy’ is all about brainwashing us to accept this rather than speak up about how we are treated by society. You are not irrational. I honestly think you don’t know what you’re talking about. You’d regret wishing to be treated like a man in less than a week. I’ve struggled with this concept except reverse my whole life too, I have two sisters (I’m a triplet) but being the only male sibling leads others to treat me completely differently than the two people I consider my other counterparts. I’ve thought it was me struggling with my own gender/concept of it, but I’ve come to the conclusion that people are stupid! I don’t try to change other people’s perceptions of me, but I try to do what I want)
I’ve always preferred the Michigan Wolverines Flag Plant 13-10 Pocket Ohio State Buckeyes NCAA shirt Apart from…,I will love this focus on individual differences and similarities, myself, rather than broad stereotypes. I mean that for any topic about anything or particular people or groups. Each individual is different and each individual has similarities. In my personal experience, people get along better if they find similarities to focus on, which bring people together, than to focus on differences which divide individuals and groups. Yes, I’ve been frustrated plenty as a woman. I’m 55+, was extremely competitive and athletic as a child and could run faster than a lot of boys my age. I always did better in school than most of the class and that includes math and science. I learned to shoot pool like a pro from a pro who was quite harsh and made me practice daily or nightly or both. I did it because when I played pool casually, guys would let me get away with not calling shots or whatever rules I was breaking. When I got good enough to beat guys, the one I beat would call me a hustler or say I was “good for a girl.” That’s what I heard in sports all my life, right after I beat the boys. I didn’t care, I worked even harder to kick their butts.
I played beach volleyball for fun and was in a regular group that met on the Michigan Wolverines Flag Plant 13-10 Pocket Ohio State Buckeyes NCAA shirt Apart from…,I will love this beach every day to play. It was highly competitive and co-ed. There were only ever two sports my gender wasn’t at issue very often. Basketball and volleyball. Because I’m 6′ tall. They wanted me on their team. As two man volleyball started becoming a competitive sport, I had an offer by a really good male player to compete in state competitions as a two man team. I turned it down to go back to college. I graduated from university and went to law school. Funny, as a practicing attorney, they don’t much care about your gender. There are aspects female attorneys bring to their representation that many males don’t. Criminal justice, which I practice for the defense, is an area full of women attorneys and judges. Just find your place in the world and this matters a lot less than your competence.
It’s common to be frustrated by getting forced into the Michigan Wolverines Flag Plant 13-10 Pocket Ohio State Buckeyes NCAA shirt Apart from…,I will love this gendered box. As a teen I disliked being shoved into the ‘male’ box, because it was clear that wasn’t me. I felt like I was a mix of genders – and that people are. A few decades later, it’s clear that some people do feel that the gender stereotype fits them and they like it. And the rest of us figure out some way to deal with it, as I have. I’ve been lucky, and been able to live as me rather than as a Man. I married someone who supported that in me, and accepted my ‘feminine’ side (tho we consider most ‘feminine’ things to just be human, just as most ‘masculine’ things are too). I accept her ‘masculine’ side, and we even tease each other a bit.
Went into a field where mental ability was more important than ‘masculine’ values, and did well. Quit working and took care of the Michigan Wolverines Flag Plant 13-10 Pocket Ohio State Buckeyes NCAA shirt Apart from…,I will love this kids so that my spouse could have a career. I’m the one our youngest kid goes to for parental comforting and hugs. It’s possible to just live your life as You. My partner and I both did. Tho society does make it a bit harder, depending where you live. We ended up near San Francisco, which is more open to people like us. We men deal with a version of this too. It’s a legitimate point of frustration. It’s when people define you and treat you according to a superficial aspect of you. i’m a dude but it’s annoying how society doubles and triples down on stuff like this. especially when it comes to capitalism and selling stuff, making people feel a certain way about their gender just to make a quick buck. I can see how detrimental it is, i see progress too but i hope at some point we can reach a world where the differences stop at biological. I know way too many men who are more emotional than any women i know, and a lot of women who like sports more than me. it’s so silly.
you! you share my exact view! thank you dearly for wonderfully articulating the Michigan Wolverines Flag Plant 13-10 Pocket Ohio State Buckeyes NCAA shirt Apart from…,I will love this thoughts swirling around my brain Just treat me like you would with your local Dave, without harmful and unharmful differences like “never argue with a woman!” When I did that as a matter of course, there were a lot of women who didn’t like it, and I’m the one who ended up looking bad. And I’m not talking about being mean, I’m talking about being normal. You can get frustrated about a ham sandwich. It’s whatever. You can get frustrated by a store that closes early for a computer download. You have your problems I have mine. It’s whatever. I’m a straight cis 60m and I feel for you. I can’t wear a pink shirt, let my hair be curly or use sweet smelling soap without questions. You can be frustrated with it and hope things slowly change bit by bit. No, I don’t want to be a fem/woman, I just want to be as I am. There was a time when I thought I might be nonbinary because of how uncomfortable I was being referred to as a girl or woman. Now, after many years of reflecting on it, I’ve come to be more secure with the fact that yes, I am a woman, and that discomfort comes from casual everyday sexism. My sense of “I’m a person first and foremost” was not necessarily a desire for being gender neutral, but rather a disillusionment with how women are treated as women first and people second. Reckoning with this is enough to drive me insane in daily life and I’m seriously losing my fucking patience with misogyny. The casual assumptions about your personality, your knowledge, your skills, your passions, your interests; the subtle talking down to you receive from men, and the hostile Male Superiority complex some of them seriously have still in the year 2024; the women who perpetuate misogyny by mocking or ostracizing you for not conforming to traditional femininity; the sexual harassment; so on and so forth. The more aware of it you become, the less you can ignore it. I’m a human being for god’s sake
I think what you’re really frustrated with is patriarchy and misogyny. Yea. I get you. I wish we lived in a more egalitarian society but sadly we do not. Maybe you’re non-binary or trans or agender? I had those feelings for years and when I sat with them and gave myself permission to question my gender identity I realized I felt more non-binary than I ever felt like a woman. I know you may get frustrated about being differenated from men but ther is definitely differenation in how women and men present themselves and therefore will be called feminine and masculine. However, yes, everyone should treat everyone like theyre a human, not a boy or a girl. You said you would chose to be a man and know it’s something deeper, honestly it sounds like you could be trans, or nonbinary, it’s worth considering. I’m trans and I felt the Michigan Wolverines Flag Plant 13-10 Pocket Ohio State Buckeyes NCAA shirt Apart from…,I will love this same way as you, I never even considered that I could become a man so I never thought about, but I always felt that if I could chose i would love to be a man. The gender you’re born as isn’t so permanent and unchangeable as you think, you can do what you want and be what you want.
Watch how I turn this Michigan Wolverines Flag Plant 13-10 Pocket Ohio State Buckeyes NCAA shirt Apart from…,I will love this inspirational post into absolute shit fest and get mocked simply by stating that I’m frustrated for being a man… If you don’t like being treated like a woman, it’s probably in your interest not to act like a woman. As in, walk, talk, dress, attend like a woman
OP slowly collecting people’s toes and attaching them to his hands is some dark villain shit. What foot related accident made him lose his fingers and start this arch? I love reddit, the Michigan Wolverines Flag Plant 13-10 Pocket Ohio State Buckeyes NCAA shirt Apart from…,I will love this same people that are the meanest sons of bitches to some are supporting at the same time to others And I’m digging through the comments now. I saw that you said they are your toes. So you had your toes removed and sewn to your hand? Just made it through some comments and see some of the answers about you being born and then having the surgery. Yeah, I’m actually so thankful to have it, I can play videogames like a normal person (the trigger buttons are hard) I’m pretty fast at typing, and play bass guitar! Have you looked into the 8bitdo lite? They have a few versions including one that moves the triggers/shoulders onto the face. Shit like this is why I joined Reddit in the first place; what’s more lovely than a bunch of humans sharing knowledge, expertise, advice, love, art, music, interests, time, and sometimes stuff for the betterment of the species. I would give someone a finger if they had none, I mean I have ten. But can you even donate a finger to someone else? I’m assuming these are their own lil piggies.
But seriously, touch screens like my phone often seem unresponsive to the Michigan Wolverines Flag Plant 13-10 Pocket Ohio State Buckeyes NCAA shirt Apart from…,I will love this scarred skin. Curious if that ever happens to you. I’ve experienced this with really thick callouses before. Something about the skin’s conductivity being different from what the screen is expecting. Oh well I had to try! I was meaning to ask anyways, what games do you play and have you tried controllers where you can remap the shoulder and or trigger buttons? If Johnny has two feet, each with five toes, and gives away one toe from each foot, how many toes does Johnny have left on his right foot? Just as I thought from the beginning. A transplant in which you are both donor and recipient is much more likely to take and you haven’t the risk of rejection. You want a toe? I can get you a toe, believe me. There are ways, Dude. You don’t wanna know about it, believe me. Hell, I can get you a toe by 3 o’clock this afternoon, with nail polish. When I was born I only had the middle finger and the small little lump thing on the right. When I was around 1 and a half I got a surgery done to take the middle toe of each foot and put it on my hand so I can grab things and basically just live life normally. In a way I’m happy because I AM able to do normal things to an extent… but now, technology has moved so far along that (I feel) it would’ve been better for me to not have the surgery. Because no bionic hands actually fit Not to be the “Ackshually” guy, but ackshually it’s not really a “middle” finger if you only have one. Gotta have at least 3, so the toe-fingers were crucial in letting OP flip the bird.
Hm, well it depends, I saw an interview a while back of this woman who lost her arm and leg in an accident, but now had this kick-ass bionic hand that connects to a server which automatically controls her fingers. For example, in the Michigan Wolverines Flag Plant 13-10 Pocket Ohio State Buckeyes NCAA shirt Apart from…,I will love this morning, she would put on her glasses. She doesn’t need to anything to do that at all. The hand already knows that she’s going to grab her glasses in the morning. Which is pretty fucking cool, so if given for free.. I’d totally do it. Wouldn’t it be so cool to have different colour arms to match with outfits!? Only problem is that if the server has problems, or the company goes out of business, the bionic limb could become useless. Heard that happen to people who got bionic eyes and then became blind (again) when the company dissolved
The company was called Second-Sight, here’s a BBC article I found: That and you know they are going to make you pay to remove ads, offer functions only available at premium tiers, remove functions that were available as standard when you signed up and offer you quizzes to tailor your user experience. She has it now . You would have get it now too. But all the Michigan Wolverines Flag Plant 13-10 Pocket Ohio State Buckeyes NCAA shirt Apart from…,I will love this time till now, you would have had nothing, maybe a hook or nothing that moves. Your toe fingers dont need electricity, dont need extra care , dont need mainatainance / batteries / or internetconnection to a server. So uhh, yeah go get 2 bionic arms now, but don’t replace what you have, get them put in as additions please, thanks! Only if they give you the option to actually and fully own the software and set your private server if you have the skills. To make it even MORE interesting! On the other side of my hand (the side you can’t see) your able to see hair where the stitches are. So basically, it isint just my toe, it’s a little part of the foot too. And on the part of the foot, it’s super hairy for some reason. No fucking idea why, because my foot isint hairy, (the place where it originally came from)
Okay sorry I lied just a smidge there, they do grow if and/or when I damage them. But they will never grow past 1 and a half cm One time a mother told her child “that’s what happens when you don’t eat your vegetables” while pointing at my hand. I have the Michigan Wolverines Flag Plant 13-10 Pocket Ohio State Buckeyes NCAA shirt Apart from…,I will love this full story on my profile but yeah I do it’s very fun lol Please lean into this more! If you ever see a kid at a store picking their nose or something just go “I used to do that too and look what happened” hold the hand up slowly while staring into their soul, once theyve acknowledged it start slowly shaking your head “no” and whisper “do. not. do. that.” then put the hand down as slowly as you raised it, walking away without breaking eye contact.
My uncle had his right leg removed from half down the Michigan Wolverines Flag Plant 13-10 Pocket Ohio State Buckeyes NCAA shirt Apart from…,I will love this thigh down a few decades ago (bone cancer). A similar situation happened to him – a kid was acting up in a grocery store and the mom looked exhausted. He went over (on crutches), pointed at his missing leg and said “this is what happens when you don’t clean up your Lego, you don’t want your mom to end up like me, right?” Well they do. The finger on the left is in the same position as a thumb, and the finger on the right is a ring finger. Tight gloves don’t fit, but thick leather ones that have loads of room in them are fine, the fingers just flop around a lot which can get annoying Now I just wanna knit you custom gloves, godddamn. That would drive me bonkers (the floppy extra fingers on gloves)
