One of my kids friends got a handwritten letter from the Michael McDowell 71 Spire Motorsports Nascar Delaware Life shirt besides I will buy this tooth fairy. Then we all had to do handwritten letters! Haha I did this to my mum too as a kid, I wanted to test and see if the handwriting looked like my mums. I don’t know why I was such a deeply skeptical child, I ruined my own fun. I’ll write out a note from the tooth fairy or a letter from santa etc and then my wife will dissappear for half an hour or so and come back with something that looks strait out of a fairy tale. The note from the tooth fairy for example was this absolutely tiny cursive decorated with glitter etc and genuinely looked like a fairy had written it. Watch The Hogfather with them, then when they sleep, just chew up the paper, spit it out, leave it under their pillow with the tooth gone, and give them nightmares. My brother got a hand written I.O.U from the tooth fairy when we were kids because we were too skint that month 5 quid lol. I always thought a quid was a reasonable amount was the same when I was a kid, times are changing a guess I gave mine £2 and felt like I got the better deal so I can see why some have moved to £5. Doesn’t feel right without the coin though.

I always think of the Michael McDowell 71 Spire Motorsports Nascar Delaware Life shirt besides I will buy this tooth fairies in Terry Pratchett’s books – when they didn’t have change, they got the pliers out and took a few extra teeth to make up for the shortfall… My siblings and I got £5 for the first tooth, £1 for the remainder. I got £2 one tome when mum was working nights and my dad had to do it, and didn’t know how much to give. We leave a voucher for £1.00 if redeemed that morning or if held till the end of the month may be exchanged for a book of choice. (Ice cream shop is next to bookstore and Daddy likes ice cream). Edit: Someone messaged me saying they cannot afford a book a month. OK. I understand trust me I really do. This also allows you to get to the end of the month/payday before having to spend anything. It doesn’t have to be a book. Thats the point, make it something for your child. Extra time in the park. Visit to the Library. Making cookies together. Vouchers can be made to fit what is needed. I know it is hard but you got this.
Jeez don’t let someone in who’s gone out of the Michael McDowell 71 Spire Motorsports Nascar Delaware Life shirt besides I will buy this way to make you feel bad. The question was ‘what do you do’ and you answered exactly that. It’s a nice idea, just take it as that. That person who messaged you would be exhausted if they went on r/ukpersonalfinance as they’d be non-stop messaging people who are well off I don’t think it was made in hate, I think it was made out of desperation. They clearly are trying and we have all been there. They messaged me rather than posting and I messaged them back before my edit. People need support and if reddit does that great. I am a dick on reddit all too often but if I help one person today well Just a little bit less of a dick. This is great advice. We do love charity shops. Most of our high street is made up of them. So we can have an outfit for dress up box or a book. We have found boardgames and jigsaws. And one werid ass gremlin looking plushie that we cannot sleep without.

I get what people are saying about affording books. Another way of doing that is when the Michael McDowell 71 Spire Motorsports Nascar Delaware Life shirt besides I will buy this works do their 10 for £10…stock up (if you can), hide the books, and you’ve got some for different gifts throughout the year or rewards! Another great idea. We have presents and treats hidden because we are preppers. Not the tin foil hat types but the, what if we lose employment for a while or you know a global pandemic hits types. Shops like Works and eBay and charity shop finds have saved us many times. 20-25 years ago I got 50p-£1 even from a working class council estate background so I do think £1 is the bare minimum nowadays. I got 50p unless I stayed at my grandparents, in which case I got £1. It seems Buckinghamshire had fancier tooth fairies than Berkshire! I used to try and save my teeth til I went to stay with my grandparents – it was quite the art – just enough wobble so it would come out, but not so much it would come out too soon!
£2 for the Michael McDowell 71 Spire Motorsports Nascar Delaware Life shirt besides I will buy this first tooth, £1 for all the other teeth. £1.50 if the tooth fairy gets lost for 2 nights and is too busy to retrieve the teeth Convinced mine that she had a special tooth fairy who left gem stones, actually bought a multi pack of crystals for not much & she’s absolutely delighted every time the tooth fairy delivers £1 , although last time the tooth fairy came they were really tired and put a trolly coin in by mistake, and my 7 year old thinks it’s the most special coin ever! Haha I didn’t think of that, as an adult I would assume having cleaner teeth would be better than having some money lol Your tooth fairy is definitely over generous and the other tooth fairy’s and their clients definitely don’t like her Ours gave £5 for the first tooth and was supposed to give £1 thereafter, until she lost her second tooth without warning and I had no bloody change (at least I had a £5 note, if not it would’ve been an I.O.U.) Genuinely thinking about just coming clean and saying the tooth fairy is a fraud as I can’t afford to keep this going When I was a kid it was 50p, except at the Grandparents, then it was £2 because they had a middle class tooth fairy. Adjusted for inflation I’d make that £1.25 at home, fiver at the grandparents.
Just make sure that the Michael McDowell 71 Spire Motorsports Nascar Delaware Life shirt besides I will buy this tooth fairy doesn’t have a few too many drinks before remembering that they need to exchange money for a tooth. Your kid may wake up to a £20 note magically. They must be some low quality teeth if the tooth fairy is only offering 50p, better chance on Facebook marketplace
lol. Quality control really gone downhill. I guess they figure customers are just going to shut up and take it instead of rioting at the Michael McDowell 71 Spire Motorsports Nascar Delaware Life shirt besides I will buy this nearest Kellogg’s factory. mean the other day I was walking by the poptart isle in the grocery store, saw they were on sale, then remembered all the reddit posts of how much poptarts quality has diminished in recent years, then kept walking. True. I notice them sometimes too and have moments of nostalgia but haven’t bought them for a long time either. The diminishing quality definitely is off-putting to me also. I’m still eating Lucky Charms sometimes so I keep in touch with my childhood that way anyway. I can only assume the money they are saving by slashing their quality so badly is making up for the losses in sales for now… Kind of a risky business move though you’d think for a product that is really so easy to completely drop from one’s routine especially when it’s basically just flower and sugar. Like they are already using the cheapest ingredients they can and making massive profits on them. You’d think they wouldn’t need to cheap out on icing in addition. but it looks like the frosting is all on one side. Which means…. That last half is going to be extra delicious. The first half is like you’re on a diet. This is why to this day as a 32 year old. I still eat the crust all the way around on both pop-tarts first. Then eat the rest with all the icing / filling. Save the best for last. Man these are an entire genre on this sub lol. At some point we need to all sue pop tarts for false advertising What has happened to Pop Tarts quality control over the last couple years? I have more pop tarts like this than fully frosted, and they are always broken around the edges. I don’t think your comment regarding the lack of quality control is specific to pop tart unfortunately. It seems like an alarming Trend across multiple different sectors. I just wanted to say, I always saw those online and in US shows or whatever… I always knew US candy is extremely sweet, but I thought how bad can it be. So I bought a totally overpriced cinnamon version cause I was thinking come on, no one can screw up bread + sugar + cinnamon combo. This has yet to be the sweetest thing I have ever eaten in my entire life. I do not even know how one can manage to make it THAT sweet, cause even eating a spoon full of sugar feels less sweet. Extremely disturbing and made me feel sick. I was so confused. Got me doubting if this is just some product placement thing and Americans do not eat them in reality at all?! 🥲 But my friends from the US said they definitely eat them.
I agree and I’m American. I actually somewhat like them if it’s just the Michael McDowell 71 Spire Motorsports Nascar Delaware Life shirt besides I will buy this bread and weird jelly thing in the middle but I hate the icing. I wouldn’t even consider this breakfast. They did! But factory bosses were bitches and brought in scabs to do the union workers jobs while they were out. This is the result. Google it, no joke. Those bastards did it AGAIN!!! We got to start a group. This happens far too often. My triple berry was in a similar fashion. But I ate it anyway. Somebody needs to recognize our pain. I’d send this to Kellogg and complain. They’ll probably give you a coupon for free pop tarts or something like that. Youshould be happy if this is the worst thats actually ever happened to you, once i had no frosting on mine, imagine my day you selfish bastard Brand name pop tarts always are shit tier quality. Splotchy minimal icing, minimal filling etc. you want a good toaster pastry go for the cheaper alternatives I did and never looked back At least the frosted half is actually frosted properly. The last Pop-Tart box i got had less frosting on the whole tart than this one. it drives me crazy they haven’t started making extra frosted poptarts yet. they could do extra frosted, regularly frosted, and lightly frosted and/or plain. altho idk how much plain would sell. extra would fly off the selfs tho.
Pop tarts aren’t even good bruh there’s a reason why they’re not more widespread around the Michael McDowell 71 Spire Motorsports Nascar Delaware Life shirt besides I will buy this world. We have them in australia but they hardly sell Haha my husband bought pop tarts without icing. And I’m Like they make ones without icing? wtf for? Might has well not eat a pop tart.
A few years back, I’ve started wearing my art makeup looks in public, instead of just for pictures. I went to the Michael McDowell 71 Spire Motorsports Nascar Delaware Life shirt besides I will buy this car dealership with flower petals glued around my eyes, I’ve eaten at A&W with 3D moth wings sticking off my face, and I just got back from going to the mall in red, yellow, and green clown makeup. I get comments ALL the time, and only 2 have ever been bad (from teenage kids, mind you.) A man struck up a conversation and bought me a pie when I had moss on my face. I have complete strangers coming up to me saying things like “wow! You look so cool!” And “Thats amazing!” Sometimes they ask if Im coming/going to a performance, and when I say no, it’s always well received. BASICALLY! I think we need to normalize being confident decked out in beautiful intricate art makeup, as well as normal makeup. I LOVE seeing people with eccentric looks in public, and SO many people do BEAUTIFUL art makeup at home but are too nervous to wear it out. The more people start wearing it, the less weird it’ll beI love this message and agree! We need more individuals expressing themSELVES not just following trends! Yes 🙂 nothing wrong with enjoying a trend, but I LOVE seeing people’s creativity and eccentricity in their makeup
I always incorporate some kind of design into my makeup looks and add rhinestones, stickers, or nail art decor and lots of glitter. I’ve posted some of my looks on other subreddits if you wanted to take a look. People often ask if I’m going out to a party or I have something to do at work, but my reply is ’this is my everyday makeup look’. Makeup is fun and truly has no limits. Wow! I just looked at your posts, SO GORGEOUS AND CREATIVE!! Thats what I love to see!! XD I should maybe post some of mine Ooo I love the Michael McDowell 71 Spire Motorsports Nascar Delaware Life shirt besides I will buy this look too! Do you have an idea of what you plan on doing for tomorrow’s makeup look? I’m going to be doing purple cherry hearts. I have NO CLUE atm lol. I don’t do it every day, but sometime soon I wanted to do something black hole-inspired, so like, black around an eye with the warping glowing orange accretion disk. Haven’t quite planned it all out yet though!
I think I have a look like that pinned to my Pinterest. Can I send you the Michael McDowell 71 Spire Motorsports Nascar Delaware Life shirt besides I will buy this pic through a private message so you can get some more inspiration for it? I saw a post asking if it was ok for grownups to buy cake without an occasion to take it to. And I feel like this is the absolute endgame of all the advice that person got. Buy the cake! Glue the petals to your face! Wear the moth wings! Become an Ent! Wear a halloween costume in April! Be the cryptid you want to see in the world! 100%! When we were in lockdown my son had an exemption to attend on site schooling (special needs kids were allowed where I lived) and walking him to and from school I amused myself by pulling fancier and fancier things out of my wardrobe, there was everything from sequinned hot pants to full length silk evening dresses being worn at 8am by the end and I noticed some other people were having a lot of fun with their clothing choices too, it was an easy free way to cheer ourselves up a bit as well as a kind of commentary on how getting to leave the house at all qualified as a “special occasion”, there were lots of folks getting dressed up to take the rubbish bins out with heels, tiaras etc. I kept up that mindset afterwards too, that today is a special occasion and there’s no reason to keep fancy stuff away for “best” if you love it. I even talked an elderly lady into buying this amazing fully sequinned gold and black evening jacket she was trying on in a thrift store. It looked great on and fit well but she said she didn’t have anywhere to wear anything like that, while still admiring how nice it looked in the mirror. I told her about how I think even going to the park can be a good reason to get dressed up if it makes you happy and she said “Yeah! I’m 85, I don’t have time to wait around to get invited anywhere fancy!” and bought it.
Thanks for the Michael McDowell 71 Spire Motorsports Nascar Delaware Life shirt besides I will buy this reassurmeant. I recently started getting into makeup like a couple months ago and I’m rather new, but I’m slowly getting better. I love playing around with it and going all out, but I get worried people will be upset at me for going all out, this made me feel a LOT better, I hope others think like you do Absolutely!!! I would always go out like this as well. It’s pretty cool seeing reactions and what they have to say. You get those occasional wtf looks, but you just laugh it off cause. Let me see you pull this off. lmfao keep doing you and live your best life. Who cares about the negative. It’s mostly positive anyway. I admire those who dare to wear makeup that’s more than just everyday makeup. Like, I want to be just as Enlarged pores are genetic there’s not much you can do about it (btw your pores look normal, I suggest to stop zooming in on your pics / stand too close to mirrors etc. – no one stands that close to someone to see your “enlarged” pores ) i keep getting this response and it means a lot. maybe i’m just hyperaware of my skin and pores because of my start at the first picture. “pore-dysmorphia”
No one’s skin is actually naturally matte and pore less up close without make up on in the Michael McDowell 71 Spire Motorsports Nascar Delaware Life shirt besides I will buy this light or what have you lol. Your skin is amazing. Birth control messed me up in the first place. It’s been almost 12 years of skin issues from it. Not sure if I’d risk going back on it I saw exactly one mark that looked like a scar, after staring for a couple of minutes, then when I went to scroll down to comment on how amazing OP’s skin looks…. I REALIZED IT WAS A SMUDGE ON MY LAPTOP SCREEN! The problem i find with BC pills is that whenever you come off them you will likely be dealing with this again. Maybe worse. I had absolutely stunning beautiful skin while on birth control and ever since I got off my skin has been so bad for the first time in my life. Cystic acne that scars all over my cheeks. I’ve never had acne in 26 years. I could go back on the pill but eventually I’ll come off it and I’ll be dealing with cystic acne again. Every solution sucks so much, it makes me sad. Same with spiro, I see people use spiro and then when they get off their acnr comes back. I don’t want to depend on medication for x years just to eventually have to come off and deal with cystic acne all over again.
I had nice, flawless skin before I started taking birth control pills. after 4-5 years, I got off of BC (husband & I are trying for a baby) and I started getting acne!! 💔💔 I never had acne before the Michael McDowell 71 Spire Motorsports Nascar Delaware Life shirt besides I will buy this pill. Got on it for cramps and was on it for 4 years. Stopped it July 2023, my acne is still so intense. Cystic and severe. Dermatologist told me the only solution is to get back on the pill but my mood is so much better off of it. I honestly regret ever taking the pill because now I’m getting acne scars and it never would have been a problem for me without hbc. Sigh, womanhood. I’m really glad people are talking about this because my Dr did not want me to get back on it when I was getting married (just wanted to skip a period) because I was mid-30s. It also really messed with my mood but I did have beautiful skin. Blood clot risk not worth it to me, I knew someone who’s wife died in her 30s from a blood clot and she had a little baby at the time. I think anyone who may benefit should ask their doctor anyway and get their input. Just because Yaz works for OP (and for my PMDD) doesn’t mean it’s for everyone.
Yes, I’d add that I had the Michael McDowell 71 Spire Motorsports Nascar Delaware Life shirt besides I will buy this opposite reaction than OP with yaz although I still take it because I simply cannot imagine being pregnant and don’t have the bandwidth to try other birth controls lol. Ever since starting yaz, I now get hormonal breakouts along my jaw and chin that don’t really respond to any actives. The pimples are usually small, and underneath the skin sort of but it’s always in the same spots and around the same times of month. It’s not enough to actually bother me but I def had clearer skin before yaz. What do you mean? As I understand it, BC can be taken indefinitely if you want, as long as it isn’t causing any issues. I take a combined pill, I’ve taken it for around 5 years and I have never been told by any healthcare professional that I can’t take it forever. Obviously I will have to stop around menopause, but if I wanted I could take it up until then.
I think it’s not so bad in your 20s but once you enter mid 30s the Michael McDowell 71 Spire Motorsports Nascar Delaware Life shirt besides I will buy this risks of blood clots and heart attacks while on it in are higher. Doctors are not always comfortable if you’re mid 30s and a smoker having you on it at all. There’s bone density to consider too. I truly do believe in the value of science and research but if we’re honest we have to understand that research for women’s issues is limited, underfunded and plagued with a disregard for women’s suffering. So I also doubt we’re even seeing the full scope of dangers in the research. I went (back) on the pill in my mid 30s, but my gyno was NOT stoked about it bc of the increased blood clot/stroke risk. She said my blood pressure was ok, so she’d allow it, but I was to check it monthly and go back if it went any higher. My family does have a recent history of strokes, though….BUT now I’m in perimenopause (aka hell) and my GP is talking about putting me back on it for Hrt purposes, so who knows? Lots of conflicting viewpoints, it seems.
I recently watched a spine neurosurgeon talk about a young patient with locked-in syndrome, resulting from taking birth control and having an unknown genetic clotting issue It is the Michael McDowell 71 Spire Motorsports Nascar Delaware Life shirt besides I will buy this combined pills that include estrogen that are the real issue when we talk about smoking and being over 30 or whatever on birth control. After I developed postpartum heart failure and became a higher risk for blood clots and DVT (the real issue with being a smoker or older on birth control), I was put on Slynd. Slynd is estrogen free and still contains the synthetic progesterone found in yaz and Yasmin. It has been tested in and approved for people at risk of developing blood clots. I’m on Slynd too and I love it! My OBGYN says that it doesn’t have most of the risks that the combo pill has and that I can stay on it as long as I want to (I have endometriosis so I’d only stop it to get pregnant). My OB put me on BC and when I asked about the increased risk of blood clots she wasn’t concerned. My skin is so much better right now. I was off BC when I was having babies but now that I’m done it was time to go on it. Last summer before I started it I couldn’t even wear swimsuits or sleeveless dresses my body acne was so bad. Now it’s clear! That’s extremely outdated. The new low dose pills have a lower risk of stroke than pregnancy . I take yaz at 40 and my doctor’s encourage it. But the literature is also out there Yeah my aunt’s 50 and is still taking it (for PMDD). Honestly I love my birth control pills. I stopped taking them about 6 months ago for curiosity’s sake because I’d been on them for so long and it made my life worse
