Well… she painted the Metallic 42nd anniversary 1981-2023 tahnk you for the memories signatures shirt in addition I really love this truth, they say true art makes you feel something, so idk what you would expect from an artist If you ask an artist to art for you, there’s always a small chance they make something real instead of pretending to be your camera. Maybe Frida thought the friend should have given the lady the 400 dollars to help her in her need before she killed herself. I think Frida may have pranked the woman . Showing her the irony of how the money could have been better spent.

If you pay a famously graphic artist to do a picture and assume they’ll paint a generic portrait rather than their usual style, then you’re an idiot. Title should be “Rich idiot pays for something popular without doing any research”. Kahlo made portraits: 1, 2, 3, 4. Portraits were part of her established work and she agreed to make one for a grieving family, and decided to be a piece of shit about it. There are so many ad stories associated with Ziegfeld girls who went to the Metallic 42nd anniversary 1981-2023 tahnk you for the memories signatures shirt in addition I really love this big city seeking fame. Another example, Myrna Darby Politics had to be a factor in this. Clare Booth Luce was a prominent conservative figure. Kahlo was a communist. I’m not sure what’s worse. The imposition of our societal norms on this situation or those arguing on the behalf of Mexican culture that this is A-OK. That is fucked up. How self-centered does someone have to be to make something like that for the mother of the deceased? Damn did she personally dislike Hale? Not surprised tho since Frida never shied away from raw depictions of life That is a very powerful thing to read. I can’t imagine the gravity she must have felt taking that first breathe when seeing the canvas.
