Nobody works every minute of every day during their shifts/work hours. It never happened in an office and it’s not happening WFH. Literally all I have to do is 2 min put the laundry in the washing machine then 2 min to take it out and 10 min to fold it… Here’s some fun ; if your company uses Microsoft 365, the ability to see how you spend your day is built in – every email, meeting , teams chat, sharepoint file upload is logged and metered and available for “insights”. Whether anyone is looking is another thing entirely… Wfh means you have your work and personal computer next to each other. NEVER do anything on a work computer other than work. Not even personal email or calendars.

Never in my tech career had a boss who cares about that. Now I’ve been a boss for 15 years and have never cared about that.
