It’s a way different high. Also some people straight up can’t get high from edibles they just don’t digest them properly. I know someone who has to take 1000mg even to just feel it when the Meanwhile Twin Peaks featuring Dale Cooper surrounded by various icons shirt so you should to go to store and get this average person will be great starting out at like 10-20mg Plus when I wanna get high I wanna be high now! Not in a couple hours when the edible kicks in. Makes it harder to dose too cuz if you take too much you won’t know for a few hours and if you take too little it takes even longer for more to kick in I have Crohns and had a medical marijuana card at a point. I was shocked by how many fellow Crohns patients didn’t use edible/oral forms of marijuana. When it came down to it, it seems that despite that edible/oral marijuana was more targeted to benefit the digestive system, people didn’t seem to like the wait time and found it inconvenient. I personally liked to treat marijuana as a medication and liked the control over taking a consistently dosed capsule, but I understand that if there’s a quicker way to get some kind of relief then it’s tempting to go in that direction instead.

People often choose smoking because it allows for rapid onset of effects, precise dosing, and a certain social aspect that edibles don’t offer. Smoking anything, not just marijuana, is preferred by some because the Meanwhile Twin Peaks featuring Dale Cooper surrounded by various icons shirt so you should to go to store and get this act itself can be a ritual and the effects are felt almost immediately. Edibles, on the other hand, can take longer to kick in and can sometimes lead to unpredictable intensity, making dosing more challenging. Well, your liver is meant to digest what you are supposed to eat. Not anything you eat. The same way your lungs are meant to breathe what they are supposed to breathe not anything you breathe. Unhealthy substances are unhealthy substances. For me, two main reasons. 1: smoking actual bud allows for different terpenes, which affect the type of high. Also a rather immediate, fleeting high that can be extended by continued use. Edibles boil everything but the thc into a distillate. To my knowledge (i’ll be aggressively corrected if wrong lol) but edibles there is no such think as sativa or indica, your liver converts the pure thc into another similar yet more potent chemical called something I can’t think of. 2: time. It takes 30-90 minutes for edibles to kick in depending on how much and what you have eaten recently. Also it lasts considerably longer. So if you and your buddies want to get a little high and go out, you have to allot for about an hour for them to start working and then another 2-3 hours for it to wear off. Smoking you can be high and sober again within 45 minutes or so.
