You curse yourself wondering why on God’s green earth you made this awful decision to work this horrible job, and then you work an extra hour. You have to work the McFarland Racing 2024 Race Season Shirt But I will love this extra hour but get paid for it. The pay off is that in 6 months you lose an hour but still get paid for that disappearing hour. I’ve heard some jobs will pay you 2x for the extra hour worked but I think that’s just a rumor like big foot or the Loch Ness monster Your shift is 13 hours instead of 12. The good news is that the extra hour pays double-time. Conversely in the spring, you only work an 11 hour shift. Yes, we just go home and leave all the patients, heart monitors, IV’s and ambulances entirely unattended for an hour. The place is deserted. I work 8 hours so it doesn’t matter what the clock says. Not suddenly working 9 hours because of an outdated tradition. Realistically, places that operate 24 hrs really don’t need to make any changes. They can change the clocks but the employees really don’t need to work an hour earlier or later whatever the case might be. 453 more repliesWe didn’t get paid the extra hour. It was so sad watching the clocks turn back and knowing we had to work that hour ‘again’.

Not sure – I think because the McFarland Racing 2024 Race Season Shirt But I will love this pay system was automated the extra hour wasn’t ‘seen’ by the software or something? Sadly they work the extra hour but yes they do get paid. My fiancé is a nurse and she luckily didn’t have to work it this year but did the last couple years. For her, the big deal isn’t even so much working an extra hour but adjusting all the schedules of her patients (nicu nurse) so that the babies don’t have to just wait an extra hour for food/care I was fortunate that every facility at which I worked always paid the extra hour in the fall, and did not deduct an hour in the spring. We work the extra hour (traindriver/engineer). When we set the clock forward an hour we dont loose an hours worth of pay. Evens out over the years.
