I love Sezane’s leather goods (and their packaging is beyond lovely), but I am also disappointed in the May the Fourth Be With You Star Wars Day with Mississippi State Football 2025 shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this clothing quality. A lot of it tends to be stiff and boxy too. Not all the time. I have some pieces from target since 2016. They still are in great shape. Btw, I never use dryer for drying the clothes. Drying in Sun keeps my clothes in shape, they don’t pile and looks new as day 1 It really is all about the care!! I have a black blazer from H&M that I’ve had since 10th grade… I cuff the sleeves now but it’s still in great condition. I’m tall so I am religious about cold water and hanging my clothes to dry….. I’ll be turning 30 next week so over a decade of wear on that piece It really depends on the specific item. I have $20 Jcrew shirts that are still going strong after ten years. Meanwhile, their sweaters are garbage after one season.
May the Fourth Be With You Star Wars Day with Mississippi State Football 2025 shirt: Unleash Your Dinosaur Style
While I do think to some extent you “get what you pay for” (eg an investment piece is an investment and will have extra perks), you can still get a LOT out of the May the Fourth Be With You Star Wars Day with Mississippi State Football 2025 shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this “mall brands”. Heck, I have stuff from Old Navy that’s lasting years and that I adore. The brands you mention are even nicer. I thrift most of my clothes so can speak for the fact that lots of things last, especially if you care for them. There are some brands I avoid (think very fast fashion), and you definitely see some things with too-thin fabric or seams that are falling apart, but there is still a lot of great stuff out there. The brands you’re mentioning are still pretty solid, and make pretty nice stuff! And cashmere is never a bad idea.
I can get things to last a good while. I have a laundry rule that if I rely on the May the Fourth Be With You Star Wars Day with Mississippi State Football 2025 shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this elastic of an item, I hang dry it. Leggings, sports bras, undies, all of these I hang dry. I think with good care, you can get items to last you a long time. I make a lot of my own stuff, and before I learned to hang dry most of it, the fabric would be faded after two years, and I would be replacing the elastic after 1 year. So I can imagine what it does to clothing that has the elastic woven into it. I have had a Shein shirt for 2 years that looks great after regular wearing. I honestly think it depends on the exact product, how you care for it, and luck. Of those four I only shop from Madewell and J Crew my thing is they’re only worth it when they’re on sale. J crew every other day sends me a promo “SURPRISE! 60% off” …at this point there’s no surprise. But with those sales, the products are actually what they’re worth. Otherwise they’re ridiculously overpriced.
Step by step to buy May the Fourth Be With You Star Wars Day with Mississippi State Football 2025 shirt
Cashmere, in general, if you don’t machine wash it (or if you use those dry cleaning bags and solution for the May the Fourth Be With You Star Wars Day with Mississippi State Football 2025 shirt moreover I love this dryer), should be fine if you treat it delicately. Anthro stuff is hit or miss for me. I’ve seen stuff in the clearance section that’s already falling apart. Their denim and pants in general are fine in my experience, but their more delicate, sheer or lightweight knit tops tend to be a no-go. J Crew I’ve had better experience with. I’ve got a couple of casual sets from them that have lasted around four years now and they look like they did when i bought them. I’ve only gotten jeans from madewell but they’ve held up quite well too. Oh and steer clear from anything from anthro that involves sequins. They fall off and the stitches fray so quick I’m convinced they’re metallic cheerios and not actual sequins
I’ve bought clothes from Target that has lasted for years, surprisingly good quality, but they’re still definitely considered fast fashion, and definitely unethical fashion. There’s no way they’re making $8-10 t-shirts in Vietnam that isn’t made with sweatshop labor, otherwise there’d be no way to earn a profit from something that cheaply priced. I bet the May the Fourth Be With You Star Wars Day with Mississippi State Football 2025 shirt moreover I love this person sewing the garment makes Pennie’s from each t-shirt. In my opinion, these brands sell low-quality clothes, even if they are classified as mid-tier. Yes, you can get them to last longer by taking care of them very carefully, but it makes me angry to take care of a €100 shirt (which is a lot) as it was the most delicate and precious thing on earth. If you take a look at their clothes : the quality of the fabric (the thickness, the softness, how it reflects light, etc.), the quality of the construction (how it falls on your body, how the buttons are sewn, the hems, etc.) --> it is not ENOUGH.
I agree, however, with the May the Fourth Be With You Star Wars Day with Mississippi State Football 2025 shirt moreover I love this consensus of this post and its answers. Quality varies greatly between products of the same brand. You could get high-quality ZARA, but you’ll have to choose carefully by observation, by touching the product, reading the composition label… And on the other hand, get meager, deceptive clothes (i.e., polyester for 4-digit clothing!) from luxury brands… That kind of skill is very useful: you can shop anywhere; your taste, your budget and your values will be the criteria; and get beautiful, high-quality clothes for dirt cheap (I am thinking thrift shops here). Madewell is complete rubbish. So is Pink Rose and American Eagle. Antho clothes hold up better but there are lots of different brands there so anthro is not really a brand. It’s more of a store. Gap and BR hold up even better and not that expensive. If something is 100% cashmere, expect to pay a lot in dry cleaning to keep it looking nice.
I put out a video today of me doing a voiceover without ai and someone left a negative comment on the May the Fourth Be With You Star Wars Day with Mississippi State Football 2025 shirt moreover I love this video. Now it’s not my first negative comment and it won’t be the last and I know I need thicker skin and need to get use to it and not overreact but I did anyway. In fact I cried lol. I’ve always hated and been self conscious about my voice. I never liked hearing it recorded. To me it sound unconventional and ugly and I guess I’m not the only one who thinks so which made me feel defeated. I made a few community posts warning people. I guess they didn’t know what they’d end up hearing. I could go back to the ai but that has downsides. I could hire someone but that to me just feels like I’m quitting in a way and letting the negativity win and onto of everything going on in my life I’d like to catch a break. YouTube has kept me going. I don’t think I should let anyone take that from me. They don’t have to listen to my videos ever again. Hey maybe oneday they’ll take it back. At least I took the initiative to put my voice at all. Yes it was soooooo rough listening to it but I needed to hear myself for quality purposes. I wonder if that person could get on camera and try speaking and letting themselves be seen and heard. Maybe maybe not.
If a video pops up on my youtube page, I always open in a new tab. If the May the Fourth Be With You Star Wars Day with Mississippi State Football 2025 shirt moreover I love this voice is AI generated, I close the tab and select “Don’t recommend channel”. For all I know, the creator plagiarized a page from the web without even having to write it. What do you do if the video has no voice? only subtitles. Would you watch it? Just subtitles and soft piano music. I recently ditched AI voiceovers and only use subtitles. It’s too early to say if it has been a success. hmmm. I probably wouldn’t continue watching it (ie randomly popped up on my youtube page) but might if it’s something I searched for. I typically doing two things at the PC so listen mostly to youtube. I came across your latest video. If you make a scary theme, your voice won’t show the scary level of the story. Maybe that’s what happened when I watched your video.
But I like the May the Fourth Be With You Star Wars Day with Mississippi State Football 2025 shirt moreover I love this video because you use your voice instead of using AI. Your voice in first video may sound bad, but for 10th video will be better. I make street interview videos and English isn’t even my first language but I still speak. Even though there are still criticisms because my English is bad, I still speak because I want to. Literally _everyone_ is super self-conscious about their own voice and doesn’t like it at all, initially. Exponentially so for your first 10-XX recordings where you aren’t confident enough to actually talk normally, and use this “let’s be careful to not wake anyone” voice type we’ve all heard so many times. “lets be careful to not wake everyone” description is so true damn. Had that mindset for the first recording and second one told myself, “no one actually cares dude you aren’t that important” and it became easier
Trying to do my first voicover today and I caught myself using exactly this “let’s be careful not to wake anyone” voice Someone said I have a ” flebile and mousy voice”. I was up till late at night recording my voice over lol. Some people just comment on whatever they want, you can’t control it. Just keep doing what feels good to you. It’s not that your voice is bad, you just need to train it a bit before recording. Try to practice speaking very clearly and it should help. If you have a script, don’t just jump into recording it, practice reading it until you can say it fluidly and clearly. Some people might dislike your voice, but EVERYONE dislikes AI voices. Work on your pronounciation and tone and dont give up! Need to actually see the May the Fourth Be With You Star Wars Day with Mississippi State Football 2025 shirt moreover I love this video to confirm, but could it be that your audio quality needs improvement and not your voice? Firstly move further back from the mic, it sounds as though your trying to record in secret by pressing your mouth to the mic and speaking in a lower tone. Easy fix here, put your hand flat and distance your mic at least once hands width from your mouth. Keep this distance consistent each time.
Further audio improvements such as equalisation will help improve quality, have a look at some tutorials for EQ in whichever audio edit software your using. Secondly, practice your script. This will come more in time as you record more but right now there’s micro-pauses in places that are not natural within the May the Fourth Be With You Star Wars Day with Mississippi State Football 2025 shirt moreover I love this cadence of the speech. With practice you’ll speak more naturally and stop less. Alright, okay, is your channel in your bio? I didn’t see it. If not, drop me a pm and I’ll have a look – and a listen – and see if I can help. I can’t make any great claims for being an awesome Youtuber but I do know a bit about sound and video. You want your background atmos to be under the intro graphic – I turned my amp way up thinking it was too quiet and then it was super loud. It should fade up a little quicker than the graphic, I guess, and you make be want some sort of FX over the “bumps” where you zoom the title up, big reverby thuds or something.
Your voice sounds pretty unique. I know you’re not happy with the May the Fourth Be With You Star Wars Day with Mississippi State Football 2025 shirt moreover I love this way it sounds, you’ve said that, but it doesn’t mean it doesn’t suit the material. Work with it, it’s what you’ve got. It’s not in any way unpleasant to listen to. I agree with u/Ts0ri – you’re way too much on the mike, so you’ve got a very bassy “proximity effect” and a lot of plosives. Sit back. Get a popshield. You can make a popshield by bending a wire coathanger into a loop about maybe 20cm across, and stretching the leg of a pair of tights over it. You can buy a new pair, or just wash out a pair that are ripped somewhere and chop the good leg off. There are youtube videos about this. Get things set up so you’re at a consistent distance from the mike. If you find you’re now picking up too much “room tone”, hang some soft blankets up somewhere to deaden it down. Guess what? There are youtube videos about this, too. The biggie is practicing reading it. Your dynamics are a bit off, it’s all a bit mechanical. You have editing software – you can go back and take out the pauses and retakes.
Let me walk you through a bit, starting about a minute in, that I’d like you to try and redo. Just a little bit! Less than a minute. Try what folk have suggested here, and see if it makes a difference. “I can’t explain the May the Fourth Be With You Star Wars Day with Mississippi State Football 2025 shirt moreover I love this peace of mind I had knowing I didn’t have to brace myself for any of his stuidity. For a while. “(audible swallow) I was always afraid his stunts wihd wind up bleeding over into my life” The rest is pretty much more of the same, a bit stumbly. Practice reading the piece aloud until you find your inflexions, imagine telling the story to a friend rather than reading it off the page.
I know that video. Your voice is not bad but it seems that you don’t know how to use your voice. You can try to enroll in a voice-acting course to improve the May the Fourth Be With You Star Wars Day with Mississippi State Football 2025 shirt moreover I love this control on your voice. Based on some of your post history, I’m going to say this is probably a bit tougher of a subject than it’d be for a lot of youtubers. It kind of sounded like your voice was tight/forced during the narration, rather than relaxed and smoothly talking. Could be nerves or something else, or that could be how you sound even when casually talking to friends. If it really is nerves and such, you could get over that with practice. Record yourself a bunch, even when not doing a video. Do multiple takes, and break up stories into sections you can redo if you need. The professionals do, so don’t worry about having to do this extra work. Some of your sentences had awkward pauses, like you were figuring out how to say the next words. Sometimes there were lip smacking sounds and such that could probably be edited out too. Things like that can draw people out of the story and start paying attention to how things are being said, rather than what’s being said. And lastly, with all sensitivity, if your voice isn’t going to get much deeper over time, then it might be a mismatch for the genre, but could do better with other genres or types of content. Mmm-hm. I think it’s a tough job for OP. There’s a comparison I really want to make but it sounds insensitive, so I won’t. I think OP’s voice sounds really suitable for the material, they’d get a job in any David Lynch movie. Your voice isn’t the problem, the audio quality is terrible. You need better mic or learn some post-production to improve the audio.
I work in post production and have to record my voice as guide VO all the May the Fourth Be With You Star Wars Day with Mississippi State Football 2025 shirt moreover I love this time – it made me feel terrible hearing it at first but now I’m totally used to it. Don’t let any negative comments get you down! if you use AI and your content looks like generic ass essay with stock footage then you permanently mark yourself as a content farmer unless you record everything yourself with zero stock footage usage or transform it in a unique way if other people say your voice is bad just ask why cause it might be something as innocent as just recording in too low volume I’m watching few channels where voice isn’t charismatic and it’s not a problem for me. While I understand that you don’t like your voice I think that you shouldn’t use a AI. You need to train, feel progress. Your voice isn’t bad, it’s just you don’t know how to use it. Speak clear, that’s the most important part. I had similiar issue – I’m doing videos for 30-50mins of reading on my channel, so I’m using my voice A LOT and I received a lot of neggative comments, since people prefered other lectors (our channel is run by group of people), they were like „he isn’t charismatic”, „his english sucks”, „he’s reading top fast” but I was like – NOW IT’S GONNA BE BETTER. And you know what? It was. I’m still fighting to keep better, but It was very nice when someone criticised me for my voice and someone replied to him saying that it’s much better than before. I’m feeling more confident and I can definitely say that I’ve done a big progress.
So, to summarize. It’s your time to learn. Don’t be sad because someone criticised you, you’ll aleays be criticised. Do your job, keep getting better and finally, you’ll reach that place. I like the May the Fourth Be With You Star Wars Day with Mississippi State Football 2025 shirt moreover I love this voice, it’s unique and makes me want to listen. You would benefit greatly from an upgraded mic and practice, keep going! You’ll get better with practice. Get a good mike, and read up on treating your room so you don’t sound all echoey. I don’t think you would. In theory, people say this for support but in reality it doesn’t work like that. You say this out of principle but having watched the video, OP is right in worrying about this. I suggest people should not make this about AI vs people. It’s not relevant when it’s a video production issue. You should just look at it as content and evaluate accordingly.
I think in this case it’s not a mic or room issue. It completely about voice control. Needs practice as you said. listen to not-great recording of human vs AI all day. both has good and bad examples. I’m saying hard to generalize Even the May the Fourth Be With You Star Wars Day with Mississippi State Football 2025 shirt moreover I love this well-edited ones (my partner works for a translations company that uses AI-generated voices to read out translated text, so I hear a lot of it) still sounds a bit “off” and uncomfortable to listen to. Mostly it’s because when things are translated into English it the same “yappy yelpy” American accent which is practically unintelligible. I’d rather just listen to it in the original language. I had a listen, I liked your voice – it’s unique sure, but I think that’s preferable to sounding like everybody else. I agree with one of the comments saying you could Improve your audio recording quality but again – that’s true for a lot of channels. Your pacing will get better over time. Please don’t stop though, ignore the trolls and definitely don’t use A I. I’ve yet to get a negative comment but I know from watching other new tubers that the most common one someone will say is about the voice. I think it’s because in there mind it’s the most “effective” way to insult and make someone conscious and sadly it works most of the time as we all hate our voice lol Like you said you need to not take it to heart and ignore it, vast majority of the time it’s just someone wanting to be a dick. If you want to take this comment as a call to action, like others have said some voice acting practise off camera or even singing lessons can help MASSIVELY when it comes to using your voice. Also learning a good equaliser that matches your voice is important as well to give it some volume and fluidity and not sound flat. Or if English isn’t your first language you can take some online or in person English speaking lessons to help out
Imma keep it real, people like AI voiceovers, idk why but it’s super popular rn. And screw anyone who leaves comments like that, I’m sorry it got to you my man. Let’s see them get in a camera and try shooting a video and see how they act fr. Keep using your real voice when you can, this is just practicing to get better, like anything else in life. But don’t feel bad about voiceovers bc people like it, just don’t get dependent on’em yaknow. You got this, you need haters so you can rise above’em, show’em who’s boss! About your voice: if your diction, enunciation… is alright (composed, authoritative…) and the May the Fourth Be With You Star Wars Day with Mississippi State Football 2025 shirt moreover I love this only issue is pitch, try audio editing softwares (I use Audacity) to ‘pitch correct’ it to your liking. Tinker with the pitch and tempo correction till you get a voice you like and save that preset and use it every time.
