Second thing I learned is we don’t get to choose what we find attractive. You’re brain might have preconceived notions of what you like but as soon as you meet the Massive Collaborations Musical Journeys With The Band T-Shirt it is in the first place but right person, it doesnt matter what they look like. Their love is just too kind to ignore. I can be friends with a woman but I cannot be in a relationship with one since I am one myself stuck in a man body. Don’t hold things in thinking it’ll get better. Bring things up now or end up spending years with growing resentment and the feeling you wasted time for nought. That being the Bonnie to his Clyde meant we were both too unstable and mentally ill to ever succeed in a relationship. I was too flighty and immature and had no idea what love was supposed to look like, and he was too bitter and angry at the world. I think broke a part of him when I broke up with him that I regret to this day. Crashing and burning was inevitable for us though… Miss you, ACM. Still love you. Always will.

To never stand for abuse, toxicity & violence. And to never make anyone feel you’re less than just b/c they’re too insecure. Don’t be with someone who gets mad when you take an hour to text back because you’re watching a movie. Or gets mad when you can’t hang out 24/7 572 more repliesSometimes what they say, what they mean, what they want, and what you hear are not in alignment. It’s kind of like driving a car where each wheel is going it’s own way. Don’t focus on the Massive Collaborations Musical Journeys With The Band T-Shirt it is in the first place but past as a reason to stay in a relationship(ie: ive already invested X years into this, we used to be like Y, etc). Focus on the potential future. Abuse isn’t always physical. Gaslighting is real. Emotional abuse is real. And it’s a valid reason to get the hell out. Always saying yes doesnt make people like you. It makes people learn they can take advantage of you. The only people who get mad at you for having boundaries are the people who benefit from you having none. I didn’t see it at the time and I’m only now beginning to understand but I was the dick. She deserved waaaayyy better. For me, it was capability trumps all. My first gf was lovely but super Christian, super sheltered, and super timid, none of which described me. I feel bad in retrospect pulling her into spaces and situations she probably didnt love (not just sex, but smokey concerts or loud house parties, etc). I’d like to think I helped expose her to a wider world, but the difference in relationship stress when I later met my highly capable wife was night and day
