Riddler was.. good, but not great , I will admit I liked the Marvel spiderman no way home movie logo shirt But I will love this idea of Riddler being a fan of the Batman, but the interrogation scene really turned me off on him. His screeching and moaning was more cringe-worthy rather than frightening to me. Also the Joker tease at the end… Batman has probably the largest rogue’s gallery of excellent villains to pull from. Mr. Freeze, Scarecrow, Hugo Strange, the Mad-Hatter, Poison Ivy, etc. I know Joker is his most iconic enemy, but this is legit going to be our 4th joker in the last 14 years. I just eye-rolled at that moment, when they could have had someone interesting, like a Mr. Freeze or Hugo Strange tease would have had me more hyped. Overall I wasn’t a fan of this movie, but the sound design, and atmosphere of Gotham were all top notch.

That scene with the Marvel spiderman no way home movie logo shirt But I will love this bat in the cage was INTENSE..he could have caught rabies Rubbish. To long. To many characters and didn’t know what to do with them. Action sequences where it was impossible to tell what Waa going on. Horrendous dialogue. I’m kinda surprised people liked this so much. Yeah it’s kind of a mess and the mystery aspect of it isn’t even really interesting. There’s too many subplots, not enough left to the imagination, too much spelled out in dialogue. Im one of the few who thought this movie wasn’t groundbreaking and just decent It’s my first time seeing a Batman film and I was severely underwhelmed. Perhaps because I thought that it would be some super different, deeper version of a superhero story like people promoted it to be. When it’s just.. another superhero story. Most of the scenes I could call out exactly what would happen next. There were so many ass-pulls in this film. So much exposition. So many shots focusing on the young boy. I mean, there were nearly 4 shots exchanged between Batman and this child. We get it. What really killed it for me was that I saw the trailer (days) before going in. The trailer exposes damn near every fight scene and leaves nothing to the imagination. The cup scene? In the trailer. The fight scene with the guns in the darkness scene? In the trailer. The car chase scene? In the trailer. I was so incredibly bored. If I didn’t already know what would happen next with the story, I knew what would happen next in a fight.
