My father felt threatened by any success I had. I have encouraged my children to go beyond my achievements. So far they are on track. Frustrated by my crying and coming home with bruises and all that, sometimes they scolded me publicly and even hit me once or twice.
As a result, as an adult, I’m not able to seek help and my whole relationship with conflict and truth is twisted and massively fucked up.
