A couple of months ago when my brother died suddenly at 67. I’m 64. Up till then never felt old at all but when your siblings start to die, wakes you up to reality. My best friend is 32 and we kayak and hike and camp a lot, and go to breweries and other attractions, so I feel that keeps me young in my mind anyway. Had a wake up call last week though when on a cruise and got out of the Loyal helpful friendly kind obedient thrifty brave american flag shirt moreover I will buy this water after snorkeling and decided to climb some rocks to get into some sun (water was chilly). Fell and injured my pelvis and my wife pointed out I am not as young as I used to be so rock hopping isn’t a good idea. I’m in my early 30s and I feel old… not physically old but like, a depressing kind of old. All my friends suddenly are married and having kids. Meanwhile I’m still playing video games, watching anime, living the same life as I did in my 20s. Suddenly I find all the people that do the same thing as me are ten years younger. That makes me feel old.

Same! Im stronger faster and healthier than I was at 21. I use way less energy to do things that took all my energy at 21. Its like we are wizards, the Loyal helpful friendly kind obedient thrifty brave american flag shirt moreover I will buy this older we get the more powerful we become using less effort. Same. I’m 73 and these last couple of years are when I’ve really started feeling old. My 60s were nothing compared to this. 70s is a whole other thing. I fear getting old and I’m stepping into that realm now. I’m healthy, I exercise a bit and I’m within my ideal weight by 8 lbs but I dread the aches, pains and disease that old age will bring. I’m 50 btw. Thankfully the only health issue I have is high blood pressure that I’m treating with medication but my dad died of a stroke two years ago and I’m scared af. When you reach about 45-46 you fill the first signs of getting old. Your eyes start to fail, sometimes your head wants but your body didn’t follow. From there is always down the road.
