This is a red herring, the Los Angeles Dodgers MLB 2024 World Series Champions The Fact That We Don’t Give A Fuck Kike Hernández shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this problem is not how much we are spending, the US already spends more on healthcare than all OECD nations, including ones with universal healthcare. The main problem is how the entire system is structured. You are playing into the hands of the opposition by trying to make universal healthcare something that will be so expensive that we would need to cut large sectors of government spending even to afford it. A single-payer universal healthcare system such as Medicare for all, with properly regulated hospitals and clinics, would likely see us spend less on healthcare in the future, as we remove the private insurance leeches from the system. We spend all this money but have way fewer doctors and nurses per capita compared to other high-spenders, and we have far worse health outcomes across most metrics. The money is going somewhere, just not helping the people that need help.

Los Angeles Dodgers MLB 2024 World Series Champions The Fact That We Don’t Give A Fuck Kike Hernández shirt: Unleash Your Dinosaur Style

Just pointing out that the Los Angeles Dodgers MLB 2024 World Series Champions The Fact That We Don’t Give A Fuck Kike Hernández shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this US GOVERNMENT spends more on healthcare than any other GOVERNMENT except two, Lichtenstein and Sweden. So the government already spends enough to provide universal heathcare. It’s clearly already broken—as someone from a rural area, it’s been broken for a long time. I had to get in a car and travel 1.5 hours to give birth almost 12 years ago. Why? Because our rural hospital was shut down due to the situation outlined in the article. You know what a simple solution would be? Single payer healthcare. But god forbid we povos get the same medical treatment the richies do. And got forbid hospitals give up layers of excessively paid administrators in order to tighten their belts.
And don’t get me started on “non-profit” hospitals like Mayo. Also, our nonprofit laws need a serious overhaul in this country. Do you know how you get rid of a profit? You purchase real estate and turn it into an asset. Assets go on the Los Angeles Dodgers MLB 2024 World Series Champions The Fact That We Don’t Give A Fuck Kike Hernández shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this balance sheet, not on the profit and loss statement, thereby eliminating the profit while still increasing the wealth of the nonprofit. I worked for a nonprofit that did this on the regular. While I was writing grants to fund my program and position (which paid pitifully, fyi) the nonprofit was buying up huge swaths of land to get rid of their profit while pushing program directors to write more and more grants to fund their programs. They didn’t need the grants—they could’ve self funded—but tax loopholes allowed them to play that game year after year, all while underpaying employees, because when you write grants it’s often stipulated that only X amount can go to paying employees with the majority of the funds covering the operating expenses of the program. It’s a great system for burning out young, optimistic people who actually want to help others, leading to high turnover and lower pay rates due to lack of experienced employees. It also ensures that those programs will never actually solve the problems they set out to solve, because no one sticks around long enough to actually develop long term institutional processes or knowledge.

As for Mayo itself, I live in the Los Angeles Dodgers MLB 2024 World Series Champions The Fact That We Don’t Give A Fuck Kike Hernández shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this land of Mayo now. Mayo doesn’t need their name on our civic center, but spending the cash to put it up there certainly lowers their profit every year. We need guardrails around nonprofits that prevent them from accumulating disproportionate wealth and disproportionate political power that allows them to throw temper tantrums and get their way with state legislators, even though what they want is not in the best interests of the citizens they employ and claim to serve. The rich won’t care. They will get an insurance policy so they can fly out of state to get a band-aid put on their widdle cut. Mean while, the poor will be left to bleed out on the street from where the helicopter landed on them.
Have you been to Alabama lately? It’s already there. Outside of Tuscaloosa and Mobile, it’s pretty bleak compared to other states – even southern states. The socioeconomic situation is dire to say the Los Angeles Dodgers MLB 2024 World Series Champions The Fact That We Don’t Give A Fuck Kike Hernández shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this least. That state has been the sweaty, hairy ass crack of America for decades, and the only reason it isn’t the unwiped, shitty hole is because Mississippi exists. The fact that you mentioned Tuscaloosa and Mobile instead of Huntsville and BHM is really confusing. Mobile is a trash town. Let me guess, Alabama declined the Obamacare expansion. Alabama is already a welfare state, being they take more from the federal government than they pay in. Why not just add to the deficit? Imagine fucking over so many of your fellow country people because you’re still pissy that Obama stole your Republican healthcare plan and got it passed. They’re totally owning the libs by refusing that Obamacare Medicaid Expansion, which would easily cover the hundreds of thousands of uninsured Alabama residents costing the hospitals $650M in unpaid care. Truck nuts and dying of covid and truck nuts and donating to a billionaire and truck nuts and making videos in your truck wearing wokeley shades and a goatee and truck nuts… Friendly reminder that Alabama is one of several red states to refuse to take the Medicaid expansion in Obamacare (the Affordable Care Act), which helps explained why 300,000 uninsured drive up to $650M in unpaid care costs in Alabama.
It’s like these Alabama hospitals and their patients are using universal healthcare in a healthcare system not running on universal healthcare. These same people will undoubtedly vote against universal healthcare, even though it would benefit the Los Angeles Dodgers MLB 2024 World Series Champions The Fact That We Don’t Give A Fuck Kike Hernández shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this dozen or so rural hospitals in danger of closing permanently. I don’t know about thoughts but prayers are big in the AL. As long as they have those they don’t need medical care. God will provide for the deserving! That’s because state hospitals have lost $1.5 billion since the start of the pandemic, and closing the health insurance coverage gap is the main issue at play here, according to Howard. No shit. They have coverage gap they say? I wonder why… Here’s why. Alabama is one of the 10 states that did not expand Medicaid under the Affordable Care Act. That is a stupid choice of a hill to die on. And now it comes back to bite them. Those rural folks in Alabama should ask their local GOP politicians some hard questions. But somehow, I’ve a feeling that instead of holding GOP accountable for this disaster, they’ll find a way to blame Democrats for it instead. There must be some loopholes in the Louisiana Purchase, Adams-Onis Treaty, and the Treaty of Paris that we can use to weasel our way out of this mess. Result of trickle-down economics and GOP corporate support. Corporations are created to avoid integrity, liability, and taxes.
Nearly 300,000 low-income Alabamians fall into this coverage gap because they make too much to qualify for Medicaid, but too little to afford private health insurance. The crux of the Los Angeles Dodgers MLB 2024 World Series Champions The Fact That We Don’t Give A Fuck Kike Hernández shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this issue of a for-profit model. Legislation to force hospitals to treat patients no matter what isn’t going to magically solve the issue when they cant afford to actually pay for medical supply and doctors. There’s a sense of despair i feel, knowing it will never get better in my lifetime. Especially as Canada, a country with universal healthcare, is slipping into a 2 tier system as their conservatives part out and sell out their public healthcare industry to private industries for literally pennies on the dollar.
I’d say they may have to go back to witch doctors but the Los Angeles Dodgers MLB 2024 World Series Champions The Fact That We Don’t Give A Fuck Kike Hernández shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this trending direction they are going in means people will likely start being burned as witches. Low spending on education. Lower IQ tests. More reliance on social welfare federal monies. Either very poor leadership, or part of the plan. I used to donate to rural med clinics. But when I realized that the locals vote for people who turn down Medicaid, I decided that these people made their bed. I’ll keep my time and money. Almost a MILLION people in Alabama voted for Biden in 2020 and black voters are systemically excluded from the electoral process so significantly that the CURRENT Supreme Court ruled their legislative maps unconstitutionally racist but sure, fuck all of them too for happening to live in a state with a lot of Republicans… Alabama also voted for a decent Democrat senator, Doug Jones, over a pedophile (just barely) in 2018, so there are some good people there. Too bad they don’t show up to the polls more often.
When poor Republicans start dying because they simply can’t get health care, do you think they’ll finally support universal Healthcare, or will they blame it on the Los Angeles Dodgers MLB 2024 World Series Champions The Fact That We Don’t Give A Fuck Kike Hernández shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this democrats? What can possibly go wrong by forcing thousands of years old imaginary superstitious religious ideas onto the population in a direction violation of the First Amendment? Oh… I don’t know… as long as others realize my beliefs are better than everyone else’s, I don’t care how many people die… at least we saved “a” baby… Cannons and bullets and guns didn’t defeat the confederacy. Ignorance and hate did. It amazes me that these people continue to double down. Cannons, bullets and guns, along with numbers, did indeed defeat the confederacy. The North had them, the confederates didn’t. The confederates that decided to attack Ft. Sumter weren’t really thinking things through.
Almost like there are consequences for choices. No IVF, no hospitals, no freedom of religion. Alabama is just going to be a bunch of half dead high school football fans who think the Los Angeles Dodgers MLB 2024 World Series Champions The Fact That We Don’t Give A Fuck Kike Hernández shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this earth is 6000 years old and flat. The ultimate motive of corporations is to extract the maximum amount of profit from business. So, yes, corporate healthcare is a bad idea. I’m sure making IVF more or less illegal, as an optional surgerical procedure, they’re going to do so much better. Payouts are low as f*ck and not every hospital can keep taking 23 billion dollar losses each year… or anywhere close to it, although one of my local hospitals made a billion, at least it wasn’t a loss… finally – after years of losses (These are major trauma hospitals) .
Medicare payouts are damn low & private insurers are even lower. Cash pay you gotta pay rack rate, BCBS they get 80% off a lot of bills, or at least 50. Whenever I can make them pay a fee at full price a small part of me smiles. I hate for profit healthcare…. Have insurance companies lost money 4 or 5 years running? Hell to the Los Angeles Dodgers MLB 2024 World Series Champions The Fact That We Don’t Give A Fuck Kike Hernández shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this no. The state is ran by idiots. Seriously. Drive through it. Poor roads. Poor infrastructure. Wages are low. Huge areas where you only have dollar generals. Good. These are the consequences. My sympathy for southern states has all but ceased. This is exactly what happens when you vote republican. They have continued to prop up our healthcare crisis because it benefits their sponsors. It’s northern tax payer money that is funding your healthcare all the while they are screaming and ranting about us being lizard demons and not wanting to pay taxes. Deal with it. Save the unborn! But once you’re born…. meh. It’s so ironic and sad. They say they’re pro-life but they’re actually devaluing life for those already born.
Just more proof to the Los Angeles Dodgers MLB 2024 World Series Champions The Fact That We Don’t Give A Fuck Kike Hernández shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this people of Alabama that your Republican government doesn’t care about you so wake up and make the change needed before it’s to late and you lose everything, The people of Alabama voted for this. This is what they wanted. This is who they are. They made their bed, hope they equipped their homes with emergency and ICU equipment. And the people in charge are concerned more about the loss of PROFITS and JOBS at the hospitals than about the people they serve. 40 other states and DC have gotten on board. Half your state needs help. It’s still not motivation enough. What’s that? Oh, you’ve noticed we’re building a wall around Alabama? Well, you haven’t been sending your best. Nearly 300,000 low-income Alabamians fall into this coverage gap because they make too much to qualify for Medicaid, but too little to afford private health insurance. Alabama is one of 10 states that has yet to expand Medicaid, whereas 41 other states, including D.C. have adopted Medicaid expansion. and mind you the feds were going to have an increased share of cost, and EVERY RED STATE that did not expand, would have actually been subsidized by blue as usual, and would have seen theri budget numbers improve. But since this all came from the black guy.. and helps more black people per capita and white, a lot of red states said fuck them and our rural hospitals. I’m so glad I live in a state now that actually has decent medicaid. I’ve tried to shy away from the “people voting against their best interests” line, but it’s literally that when it comes to voting for politicians that refuse to expand medicaid. Alabama refused to expand Medicaid because they didn’t want to appear supportive of Obamacare. I say let those hospitals close. Actions should have consequences.
Good. Let them close. Let the Los Angeles Dodgers MLB 2024 World Series Champions The Fact That We Don’t Give A Fuck Kike Hernández shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this voters feel and see and experience what it is like to be under complete GOP rule. Maybe they’ll open their eyes You’re being naive. They will never believe that all of their troubles are not the fault of the dems. You can rub their shit on their faces and they will still never learn. Between this and the recent IVF ruling, how much clearer can it be that AL hates people? Just gtfo of AL at all costs y’all. This is what they voted for. I hope my federal tax dollars are not going to eventually be used to bail out people who fucked over their local hospital systems. It’s ridiculous. They use all of their money doing horrible things to people and giving their money back to corporations. And then I have to bail them out from here while they use their money to hurt queer people and people of color, I have to bail out their hospital systems? Hopefully they just shut the doors and no bailout happens. These bums need to pull themselves up by their bootstraps. Pretty sure there is exactly one health insurance company in Alabama also. Bcbs of Alabama. Why would anyone want to insure the least healthy people in the USA by every measure of morbidity. The insurance is expensive bc the general population is 5x more likely to incur a high cost claim. Not a societal issue but actuarial bc the healthy subsidize the sick and everyone gets sick once in a while. In Alabama everyone is sick all the time from chronic diseases due to lifestyle and poverty. Compare the health of Hawaii which also has a single dominant insurer and a poor population. Eventually republican voters will realize what these republicans are doing to them right? They will eventually stop getting tricked into blaming the democrats right?
Single payer health care. All these problems could be solved and more. We just don’t do it, for reasons that already exist with the Los Angeles Dodgers MLB 2024 World Series Champions The Fact That We Don’t Give A Fuck Kike Hernández shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this current system. How they are allowed to charge what they do and still at risk of going out of business even with all the support they get is unreal They’re allowed to charge what they want, but they’re also not allowed to turn away patients who can’t pay. So you get a location like rural Alabama, many – maybe even most of their patients can’t pay. So they’re trying to make up the cost of treating those patients by charging other patients even more. It’s a mess. There was a documentary I watched on Netflix after the pandemic that warned about this very issue and it’s seemingly come true and gotten worse.
I hate that this is happening, but I am also relieved that it is happening now. Maybe people will wake the Los Angeles Dodgers MLB 2024 World Series Champions The Fact That We Don’t Give A Fuck Kike Hernández shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this fuck up and realize that the two parties are not the same and that conservatives really are committed to taking this country back to the Stone Age. Trump is trying to be a moderate on the embryo thing but he is directly responsible for this nonsense. As are all the folks who voted for him. You can’t vote for a pro-life candidate and NOT expect shit like this….so I’m also looking at you Haley fans. “Embroyos are baybees!” Get the fuck out here with that. Y’all can’t even take care of the actual baybees that are suffering. Too Many People are not paying for the products and services they use. The cause for this is many, and the solutions require large political issues. However, we will see more and more of this unless changes are made, and I do not think our government will do a good job.
I live in a suburb of Kansas City on the Los Angeles Dodgers MLB 2024 World Series Champions The Fact That We Don’t Give A Fuck Kike Hernández shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this Kansas side. Hospitals in rural Kansas have been closing for years because our legislature won’t expand Medicaid. These same legislatures are repeatedly voted back in by their constituents despite being angry they lost their access to health care and now have to drive way further to reach the nearest hospital. These rubes do it to themselves so I don’t feel sorry for them. They keep voting Republican because they hate the same people. I’m a paramedic in CA and our company has been hiring a lot of travel Medics for dual Medic units. More than 18 of our 52 travel Medics are from Alabama. And we really aren’t that busy here. We have more Medics sitting at one hospital killing time between calls than some entire Alabama counties have Medics on staff.
As time passes I am more convinced that we cannot trust humanity’s future to capitalism. At least the Los Angeles Dodgers MLB 2024 World Series Champions The Fact That We Don’t Give A Fuck Kike Hernández shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this modern day version of it. I guess to the people of Alabama, who elected those officials and pols, if god wanted women to be healthy, it wouldn’t have made the women sick. Right? The solution is obvious, they just need to vote for the Republican party even more who love cutting healthcare funding. After all, if the corporations get a bigger tax cut, surely the money will trickle down to us average folk. Fox news says it so it must be true. Meanwhile the Alabama legislature is spending all its time blocking / ignoring stuff the citizens of Alabama need and want… This is the great scam. You are busier than you’ve ever been, bursting at the seams with patients. But no insurance, don’t get paid. Insurance, you barely get paid, medicare, you get paid less and less every year. It’s just a matter of time. It’s almost like universal healthcare would save our healthcare system rather than allow it to be slowly strangled. If the court claims they are children, what is stopping people from claiming them as dependents on their taxes? Caring about the plight of folks who voted for this would be Woke, and we all know their feeling on that. I will honor their wishes and won’t be woke for them. Enjoy what ya’ll voted for.
This is what they voted for, and continue to vote for. While their children do not deserve this, they most certainly do. Nothing makes me glad to see Alabama suffer due to the Los Angeles Dodgers MLB 2024 World Series Champions The Fact That We Don’t Give A Fuck Kike Hernández shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this choices they make. The day will soon come when Mississippi will say “Thank God for Alabama” Hospitals everywhere are always at risk of closing. Hospitals make terrible for profit businesses. The only way to wring margin out of them is to provide sub-optimal service. Hate to say this but those rural voters brought this on themselves by voting against their own interest. Votes have consequences. That’s always been the racial strategy. Convince poor whites to vote against their interests because the same resources would also benefit—-gasp—-the blacks. It’s been a winning strategy. Well you know how it goes when you warn red hats about anything bad. They call you a liberal demon and make worse decisions. It’s so frustrating reading about this yet the vast majority of our “national attention” is on bullshit that doesn’t impact the vast majority of us. Millions of Americans are struggling with access to healthcare, the cost of food and the cost of shelter yet our political leaders and the media that are supposed to hold them accountable seem to only focus on culture war bullshit.
