I’d rather you wear a shirt in the Let’s take testosterone together shirt also I will do this pool than be covered in sunblock and be in the pool. And at that point why not wear a long sleeve sun hoodie to protect the skin. Second skins are amazing for this. Growing up in South Africa as a very pale child with vicious sun in summer, I was only allowed swimming while the sun was out if I wore my second skin and shorts lol. Wasn’t about weight, was about sun protection. I might actually go back to that for the holiday season after Thanksgiving just for general disease-catching. For all the world-ending vibes 2020 had, I kind of loved that we just straight-up didn’t have a flu season that year because everybody was distancing and wearing masks. Make sure it’s a swim shirt. Don’t just jump in wearing a T-shirt. Your regular clothes are still holding onto detergent and that’s not good for the hot springs. Once me and a bunch of friends thought it would be hilarious to all get into a hot tub in our clothes and about 10 minutes later the hot tub was about 3 feet high in soapy bubbles. That was also hilarious but not so good for the hot tub.

There are plenty of fat people that don’t wear shirts when they swim. It is normal. Sure people wear shirts to hide their weight. Some people wear shirts to hide body hair. I wear a shirt because I don’t want to get sunburnt. I don’t think much of anything when I see a shirt because it has zero impact on my life. I have a fleeting moment of assuming they don’t want to get burnt because that is why I wear a shirt.
