Kids are weird, and sometimes you think you’re helping by giving them a small taste of something but they react violently. My daughter would accuse me of not letting her have what she wants even though I’d tell her this is just a taste and if she likes it she can have more. So, I’d let her pour the normal sized bowl. Of course, she’d also eat it, telling me how delicious it is while clearly not enjoying a single bite. I just made this comment above: “My dad and step grandmother did this to me. If i wouldn’t finish my peas (which made me gag), they would spank me and give my ice cream cone dessert to my sister instead and have her eat it in front of me. Or send me to bed early. It’s abuse and it’s terrible. I hate peas to this day from the experiences and I’m 38 now.”
