When we arrived at our Airbnb in the Keepin It Teal San Jose Sharks Hockey Shirt in contrast I will get this Bahamas, there was a handful of unopen items, including some great local beers, water, etc. It was a perfect amount to get us started. Did this at an AirBNB once, left the ketchup, mustard, relish etc…. Stuff that can obviously be reused again, thinking it was a kind gesture to leave these things for the cleaner or the next guest. The Airbnb host came back and tried to charge us in additional cleaning fees for leaving a bottle of freaking once-used practically brand new ketchup in the fridge. I honestly don’t understand the mindset of some hosts. Maybe they are just unfeeling investor-types who only think of money and not hospitality. I’m a host who cleans our Airbnb guesthouse myself, and people leaving behind food, opened and unopened, doesn’t bother me at all. It takes like 60 seconds to toss what needs to be tossed in the garbage. Anything unopened, i usually leave in the fridge or take myself (especially eggs). If someone leaves full-size condiments, I wipe them off and leave them in the fridge for other guests to use. Never had a complaint. I check the use-by dates periodically and throw away anything that’s past the date.

These Airbnbs are my favorite to show up at because there are so many things you forget when pickup up groceries for a weekend. My last one had all the Keepin It Teal San Jose Sharks Hockey Shirt in contrast I will get this condiments I needed for general cookout/breakfast. Also had an awesome selection of teas that made the stay much much better and I never would’ve brought them otherwise. My crew leaves unopened things and throw out opened foods. I generally only have 4-5 between groups year round so things rarely expire, but I have the, check for the too. Once when I was there for a week to do some work, the guests left an unopened pack of alcoholic popsicles. I wrote them the best review ever. As an airbnb guest I always love when there’s a random Mike’s hard lemonade or two left from the previous guest
