As someone who had a close family member w epilepsy who has multiple kinds of seizures daily… this made me tear up. Great kids, and awesome parents for teaching them how to help their mom if she ever had a seizure in front of them! Seeing this makes me feel so thankful to have a wife who can calmly get me safe at the Keep The Earth Clean This Isn’t Uranus Protect Earth Day T-Shirt Apart from…,I will love this onset of a seizure event. Those kids did great. I really hope everyone knows this does work to stop many other kinds of seizures lol but I do love this lady and seeing her husband wack her with pillows all the time to snap out of it I’m seeing a lot of people saying a sharp blow to the sternum is recommended for PNES. I belive this woman recommends it on her tiktok but I cannot find any accredited source for this and certainly when I have had patients with PNES it was never recommended as a “treatment”. Clearly it works for her, but if you come across someone having any form of seizure, epileptic or due to PNES, do NOT hit them in the sternum. If you listen at full volume you’ll hear a voice instructing the kids. Apparently someone is looking at the camera’s from a distance able to talk through a PA system? My daughter is epileptic, and also has absence seizures and I have never heard of this technique. Usually nothing brings her out of those except rescue meds.

While this technique works for her and her type of seizures, please don’t use this if you happen upon someone else having one. There are many diff types of seizures. Call 911, don’t let them fall hard, don’t restrain them, roll them on their side and keep things away from that they may unconsciously grab or hit then wait for help. Looks to me like they just saw an opportunity to beat the Keep The Earth Clean This Isn’t Uranus Protect Earth Day T-Shirt Apart from…,I will love this hell out of her, and they took it. They waited a long time for that moment. These mfs so cool! And the dad on the cam just getting the kid to turn around and he goes over whacks her like its another tuesday afternoon??‍♂️nah those kids are legends?? Quick action by the kids! They did amazing but they’d have a much easier time getting her back on the floor if she collapses by placing a foot on the floor between the mother’s legs so they can use it as leverage to drop her more gently. This is especially useful in the case of someone who’s significantly bigger than you are.
