VR suffers from the Keep America Golden Flag Shirt in contrast I will get this same problems it always has; what’s the point? Why buy expensive niche hardware to hop in a VR environment to do anything I could just do on my phone? And that’s not going to change anytime in the next decade. On a phone, are you able to attend a to-scale concert, high five the performer after they get off stage, and physically pull out real world breakdancing moves in a crowd of other dancers? VR has solved a few of it’s problems by the way, and it’s solving more with newer hardware, and there’s a pathway to get pretty much everything solved at this point, even if will take the rest of the decade. No, I can’t do that on my phone. And you know what? No one cares. This isn’t a problem statement that millions of people around the world give a single shit about. Your example is evidence towards my point, it’s too niche an audience and it always has been. Until there are big enough unique use cases at scale that only VR can address en masse, it’s never going to go anywhere.

Keep America Golden Flag Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

So why aren’t people watching concerts exclusively on their phone and are instead still attending concerts in the Keep America Golden Flag Shirt in contrast I will get this hundreds of millions? This is just one example. The idea is VR can provide the feeling of going to a place, having an experience, or seeing another person as if it’s happening face to face, right in front of you. That’s pretty universal. It pretty much describes how we value our lives in general. Our lives are centered around seeing other people, going places, and having life experiences. That is the difference – it’s what a phone or even the largest TV cannot provide, because they are 2D displays with abstract interfaces. If the goal is you want to hang out with a friend by watching a movie, the ideal experience would be to either physically go to a movie theater together, physically sit on a couch together and watch stuff on your TV, or the next best thing would be to do this in VR where you get a sense of that feeling.
