You are young and used to doing what you are told. Set boundaries. Say things like, “I should be getting back to work now.” Has he ever physically touched you in any way? Accidentally brushing past you….a hand on the Kayvon Thibodeaux New York Giants Vintage Shirt but in fact I love this shoulder….hugs when he see’s you? And if they are getting more frequent from what you said he is trying to groom you. That whole College thing is a massive red flag and if I was you I would choose an entirely different college. I would also get the hell out of that job as soon as possible. The fact that he’s trying to turn you against your family is sooo creepy. He wants you to have no one else in your life so you end up having only him and have no other choice but to turn to him for help. Stop working for him, and cut contact with him. If you’re 17 now, I can guess that your parents or another trusted adult in your life is around his age. Think of how weird it would be if one of them starting paying an inappropriate amount of time and attention on one of your friends. When you look at it that way, I think it’s easier for you to see how weird and creepy it really is. I wish you the best and am impressed on how responsibly you’re looking at this.

The regular questions were okay but the Kayvon Thibodeaux New York Giants Vintage Shirt but in fact I love this extra spending time and suggesting you drop out of college that is explicit behavior for an adult, mentor and ceo. Just by reading the title of this post my best advice is to just get the hell out of where you work and get far away from your boss. Block him on everything delete his number and his email and just stay away from him I work in tech and actually have mentees and we meet 30min maybe every 2wks. This is absolutely gross and inappropriate. Good job putting your hand up and asking if a situation that made you uncomfortable was inappropriate. Too many times we don’t do a head-check on shit like this and it ends poorly. Well done. Okay I’m also a minor like you and I’m no way as a career mentor or anything like that but this middle aged guy def sounds like a weirdo and he’s possibly grooming you! Everything he said to you def reminds me of what a groomer would say You need to get out of there asap and tell your school about this since yk someone else from your school could also apply to this internship and they will also fall into his trap as well! Make sure to tell the police if he does anything illegal to you and always stay close with your parents and inform them about this! 138 more repliesI’d record a few of these strange interactions and take it straight to the HS. So they can help transfer you. Not that you’ll likely need much proof, but proof always helps. So nobody can consider you as the problem. I dealt with this a lot as a manager of a gambling facility that had underaged people working in multiple restaurants. If you’re not comfortable, then you should make yourself comfortable on his behalf. There’s plenty more better jobs on this planet. Especially as an intern. Unfortunately, some people do this exclusively to interns, and it’s never for the betterment of the intern
